Normal everyday driving. During long stops (traffic lights or waiting) or upon start up and idling - the fuel gauge/level sensor will go from what ever level is in the tank to empty, indicates low fuel level also and after a few seconds to minutes the level indicator returns to normal.sometimes it is immediate and reads normally, sometimes it seems to have to build up the signal for a while and then gets to the correct level.
I was surprised that no warning for a door ajar was on our new vehicle.this is such a simple thing yet could save many injuries or lives. It is very hard to determine that all four doors on a vehicle are secure. I can think of many instances that a warning light letting the driver know that a door is not shut tight could prevent injury or death. This seems like such a simple thing to do that i was quite surprised when no warning of a door ajar was not on this 4 door vehicle. Why has this not been address as a requirement on all vehicles or at least 4 door vehicles?is there anyrequirement for warning of such hazards?
Tailgate cablerusted out and broke.the dealer informed the consumer that there was a serious problem with this piece of equipment.
Flaw in design of "e" brake mechanism causes the emergency brake to remain engaged during regular operation.this results in excessive wear on the interior drum liners located inside the rear rotors. As a result only 25% of the "e brakes" braking surface contacts the drum surface, therefore, the drums and pads wear excessively and without warning.as a result, "e brake" requires frequent adjustments and "metal to metal" contact and excessive repair cost are inevitable.
My grandson 18 months old pulled this vehicle out of gear without the engine start or foot on the brake, causing it to do several dollars of damage to the vehicle. I have been under a flase impression this could not be done by a child.

Driving at 60 mph truck started swaying on road, stoped and checked tires and pressure had 38 psi aired tires to 42psi and problem contuned. Ireplaced all 4 tires right after that. I contacted firestone and was informed that the tires were not on the recall list and there was nothing they could do about it. If you are intrested i still have the tires and you can have them to test . Maybe this will save someones life. (dot number: vn73tiresize: 26575/16)
