Brakes are extreemely spongy and fade significantly requiring far greater stopping distance than anything i've ever driven. Pumping the pedal seems to help but pushingfirmlyactivates the abs which causes vehicle to lurch toward whatever is in front of you. I've never driven a vehicle where the abs kicks in so frequently.

While coming to a stop the brakes will fade out and pedal will go to the floor.

Dealer faulting normal wear and tear to offset real problem but after fixing the problem to have it reoccur in 15000 miles . Now dealeris saying brakes dont wear the same from right to left side . The dealership said this was bad design. Also, dealership told her that there wasback order on the hinges.obviously a lot of people were having similar problems. The consumerrana day care center.it was difficult for children to go from the front of the van to the back. Inan emergency it would be impossible to get the children out of the vanfast enough.

Hinges on rear side door sticks. Bad design. Unable to grease thoroughly. I can only imagine that somewhere down the road this will lock and the hinge will detach from the side of the van. This is the second of the two side doors the one closer to the rear of the van.

While loading vehicle through the side dual doorslower hinge broke in two. Door will shut.however, does not feel door is properly secured.

Approximately 6 weeks ago i noticed that the air pressure in my tires had lowered, & i shought with the weight variance that there wasn't a problem.i contacted firestone, & they had informed me of no recall.the problem continues, & i stopped by jenor tire in thiensville, wi, & they informed me that my front right tire was showing signs of seperation.i plan on having new goodyear tires installed on my van on oct. 3, 2000 (tiresize: lt24575r16)( dot number: tire size: lt24575r16 )

Both tires recently rotated from back to front, noticed both front tires are separated. My address is canmore, ab canada t1w 1k9. (tiresize: 245/75r16)( dot number: tire size: 245/75r16 )

The double plug happened within in a week of purchase, the tread missing was on the spare right away, which we share now driving on. (tiresize: 16)( dot number: tire size: 16 )

Tire had complete castastrophic failure of the side wall while on highway driving 54 mph. The entire side wall blew out. This tire had less than 15 days driving time on it since it was the spare that was replaced on monday, 21 may.the only other time it was used was for 2 days last summer.the tire was brand new!!! When driving in the 12 passenger van, above the elevation of 6000 feet or with 6 passengers, the defroster will not work, causing loss of visibility.

Whenconsumer passes a carboth rearview mirrors vibrate badly, causing blurring vision through the mirrors.it's very hard toseevehicles behind.this problem is almost unbearable at night time because headlights in the mirrors are now like stroke lights coming from both sides.

Both driver side and passenger side external mirrors vibrate excessively at speeds in excess of 50mph.the service department at my dealership has replaced both mirrors several times but has not been able to correct the defect.i have contacted chevrolet/gm and they do not feel that this issue is a defect and have stated that the vibration is "normal and inherent to the design of the vehicle."a gm representative met with me at my dealership to test drive my vehicle and a new comparable model to demonstrate that all chevrolet express vans have the same type of "normal" vibration.they have stated that they do not have a fix because they do not feel that this is a safety issue and have stated that no one else is complaining about the mirrors.i disagree.there have been numerous consumer defect complaints reported to nhtsa since 1995 when the model was first introduced yet chevrolet/gm has neglected to correct or re-design their deffective mirrors.the mirror's vibration is not "normal".this vibration is a serious safety hazard because the mirrors are completely useless at normal highway speeds.please help correct this safety issue as soon as possible.

Both exterior mirrors would vibrate severely while traveling at highway speeds of 50 or more. This condition causes very poor visibility.dealer was notified ,and was unable to correct problem. Provide any further details on this matter.
