We bought a used 2014 express 1500 cargo van from chevrolet of montebello on may of 2017.the "service air bag" indicatior has appeared in my dashboard off and on since the day we bought it. As i conducted my personal research i came across a couple of articles stating that there was a recall for this particular cargo van for the "service air bag." i went to the dealership and they had told me i had to pay $130 for diagnostics, when they had "found out what the problem was", they were charging me a little over $500 to fix "the problem."

We have had 2 chevy express 1500 vans catch fire to the driver door from a faulty window switch. Similiar to a previous gm suv recall:http://www.autoblog.com/2014/08/07/gm-suv-window-switch-recall-fire-hazard-park-outside/this has happened once while the vehicle was in motion and another time while the vehicle was stopped.can provide pics if necessary

Part 573 safety recall report 17v-414has occurred multiple times with the vehicle was stationary, in motion, on a city street, highway, turning, at a variety of speeds. The vehicle temporarily loses power and power steering. The stabilitrack and steering assist indicators appears on dashboard. Sometimes the power returns, other times i will have to put the vehicle in park, reposition key, and restart the engine.i had vehicle serviced by dealership earlier this year, and my vin did not match any recalls. They couldn't identify the issue and suggested i replace the battery. I replaced the good battery with a new battery, and still experience this issue.this occurs multiple times a week, sometimes multiple times a day, and has been ongoing for at least a year..

Exhaust manifold bolts are breaking causing exhaust fumes to leak in to engine compartment. Fumes then enter the cabin. First bolt broke at 70,000 miles and the. Another at 120,000 miles.

Not sure i have this under the right "affected parts", i purchased a new van, had driven my prev van 238,000+ miles so i know how to use mirrors, however, the split mirrors on these new vans do not allow you to see properly backing up & i found this to be a danger.contacted chevy and they were not interested in doing anything about it so i purchased solid mirrors and replaced them at my own expense.wondered if there were any other complaints????
