Vehicle was travelling at 50 mph when i drove into a drainage ditch and flew roughly 20 feet, causing the side curtain airbags to inflate on impact after landing. However the steering wheel airbag did not deploy in the first impact involving a culvert in the drainage ditch.

The contact owns a 2017 chevrolet cruze. The contact stated that while driving at 35 mph, the airbag warning light illuminated. (nissani bros. Chrysler dodge jeep located at 5750 mesmer ave ste b, culver city, ca 90230, (310) 439-8107) was contacted and informed of the failure. The contact was informed that the vehicle was not subjected to a recall. A diagnostic test was scheduled which was still pending. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure recurred. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 3,874.

I was in a car accident on 4/14/2018. I was at a stop light on a city street when it turned green and the pick up in front of me didn't go so i had to slam on my breaks and when i did i slammed into the back of his pick up. Totaled my 2017 chevy cruze.when i slammed into him my whole front end of my car was smashed in and the hood was pinned up. It was scary but my air bags never deployed.

Purchased new cruse hatchback in dec.2017, with 3 miles on odometer from (xxxxx) westlake,oh. Problems started in february, just stopped car,i was still in it and alarm went off, then ,onstar sent me a notification my car has been stolen, car did not recognize remote with on screen message.called dealer service advisor stated i must have electronic item in cup holder confusing the car, i only have a smartphone that stays in the drivers door or in my pocket, i kept hitting the start button& remote and eventually the alarm stopped and it was back to normal reconizing remote. In march 2018,while on freeway going 60mph all lights on dashboard lit up and speed went by itself to 30mphfrom highway speed of 60mph, i pulled to side of highway, kept hitting on off dash switch and eventually restarted and was ok, called dealer right then i was told the car went into safety mode, why i asked and service advisor stated all new vehicles have computer problems,i asked if they can look at it and i was told there is nothing they can do for me concerning my computer problems. Inapril arriving home from work,my car was stopped a message stated no remote in car, wouldn't let me unlock any doors ,no manual unlock only electric switches on car so i was trapped in car, when i call the dealer, a advisor told me after my warranty is up that's how the dealer makes money fixing electrical&computer problems, i've leased 2 cars from this dealership previous to purchasing this $28,000 cruse, i believe i have a lemon, i almost lost my city bus driving job,by car malfunctions not fixable to my 1st new car purchase since 2000,if there is a recall on this please someone fix it, i love this car but my hopes are dwindling on chevrolet cruse (8) times i've i had major problems with this car.parts of this document have been redacted to protect personally identifiable information pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

There is a known issues with the 2016+ chevy cruze models where the top mounted brake light cracks and water leaks into the trunk under the spare tire and into the battery compartment. The water also comes into contact with other electrical components that are between the rear seat and rear quarter panel. This causes a musty/mildew smell in the vehicle and can potentially cause electrical shorts and issues due to the components that are in the affected area.as stated this is a known issue with these cars and a recall was issued for this exact problem but there are many other vins that were affected including mine that were not included in the recall.

I was sitting stationary in traffic when the light changed to green. I prepared to move, the auto stop kicked off and shut my car down. Nothing was on but all the lights on the dashboard. I had to shift into park and restart my car. This was the first time this has happened and it almost caused an accident since the car behind me was not aware that my car had just cut off. Now my car makes a jerk whenever i accelerate or come to a complete stop. Please look into this because this is a true safety hazard and will eventually cause an accident!

On 11-6-18 at 33,960 mi while driving on city street a loud pop sound under the dash, instrument panel and all electrical went out (dash, radio, etc) then all warning lights cam on as if car had just been turned on, all display came back normal after several seconds but check engine light stayed on. Dealer found code p16f3 and replaced ecm. Three weeks later (11-23-18 at 34,960 mi) same thing happened while driving but no pop sound and no check engine light afterward. Dealer found no codes but indicated a tech bull dated oct 5, 18 (pic 63333c) indicting gm working on fix. 5 weeks later (12-26-18 at 35,970) same thing occurred agin but this time, unlike previous two times, was driving at highway speed in dark and headlights also were affected (headlights went out then came back on).immediately drove to nearest dealer (different than original dealer) and they also suggested calling gm consumer line to enter a ticket for safety. Dealer had vehicle nearly 2 weeks but could not find any codes or issues and said gm tech called and said return car to owner as there are no issues.consulted a local mechanic (former gm) and discussed with service mgr at dealer about a possible ground problem that would impact computers w/o causing codes. At impasse as dealer refuses to acknowledge there is a problem.scared to drive vehicle at night for fear of accident. Do not know of headlights were affected first two times because of daylight conditions.

The contact owns a 2017 chevrolet cruze. The contact stated that while at a stop light, the auto stop mode was activated and the vehicle stalled without warning. The contact stated that the instrument panel was dark. The contact stated that the failure recurred twice. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that the vin was not under recall. The contact was informed that an advisor would contact the dealer. The contact was advised not to mention the failure to the dealer because she had taken the vehicle for the replacement of the battery to verify if that was the cause of the failure at jenkins chevrolet of venice (2324 s tamiami trail, venice, fl 34293). The failure mileage was approximately 18,511.

Car was aproximately 10 months old with 5000 miles on it and battery died all of the sudden and car locked up in gear and could not be moved.fortunately i was at a friends house andwas able to get in out of heat.there was no indication before it diedthat there was a problemif was at night icould not have turned on the emergency flashersand in arizona heat could have died had i not been able to get inside. Took 3 hours for wrecker to come and take me to dealership . I believe that since this car s engine cuts off when stopped at traffic lights that the causes loss of power. Am 84 years old and never had this type of problem with a new car

Third brake light cracked and letting water in my trunk. Where my battery and other electrical components are located.

The radio/camera panel goes completely out.. No volume, no ability to turn on/off, no camera, no sound from on'star navigation, no sound from backup assist or lane assist. I'm brought this vehicle on october 1,2016. The first occurrence was one week later on october 8, 2016 while driving. The second incident happened on october 17,2016 after being parked overnight in my garage. The third time happen october 18, 2016 after being parked for 45 while i was at lunch. When it does comes back on only the radio comes on. The wifi and satellite does not work. After about an hour everything is back to normal.i took the car to dealershiptwice and each time they report they could find nothing wrong and the problem never happen while in their care. I do have a video showing the last incident.

Vehicle was parked, electrical short. Possibly after locking the vehicle the fire department said. Resulted in fire damaging the whole interior of vehicle. Visor melted, burned from center console, right through the floor to the frame, damaged the seats. Car is a mess from smoke damage. Car was declared a total loss by the insurance company.

When this problem first occured in my car, none of the gauges on the car worked. All were inactive including speedometer, gas meter, car temp, and rpm meter. The air conditioning was not working and the radio was not working either. At this time the car was running, and i was on a highway. The engine was still running. I took it to the dealership immediately to have the problem fixed. A few days later my car was returned to me and less than 100 miles later the car malfunctioned again in the same manner. My car was then held on to for a week and a half where the dealership was able to duplicate the malfunction and replace a few modules. They claimed to have fixed the problem, and four days later the car malfunctioned again, this time was different because the actual engine turned completely off and then back on again. This was surprising to me and luckily i was parked when this occurred. This is the third time i have taken the car for repairs and i have still not received a solution. This has also become a safety hazard to myself and drivers around me.

This is for the knock sensor i have changed it 5 times it will last maybe a month or at the longest 2 months and it will throw the check eng. Light on again i have called the dealership they say there's no recalls yet and when this happens if u take off slow it will shift fine but if you try to go and get on the highway and get up to speed fast the rpms will go up real high and not wanna shift very well. This just happen to my wife's car again today and its the knock sensor i have already put my computer on it and that's what is coming up on it . We have 2 of these cars both 2017 chevy cruze lt 1.4 turbo and hers is the only one acting up.

Car battery on vehicle with 17,000 miles on it battery died on major street and completely locked up almost everything car could not be pushed out of way on major street on rainy dark morning fortunately was a sunday morning with not heavy traffic battery is in trunk and autozone would not put new battery in it even though advertise that the will aaa came to rescue within 30 minutes this cari wasa on major streetat stoplight in middle lane and had to stand outside in rain to try andwave arns to try and make sure someone would not rear end me.i was stopped at a trafgfic light when it was about 1 month after i leased it also came to complete stop on side street and took gm 3and 1/2 hours to come and get it to take to dealership about 3 miles away

2017 chevrolet cruze with 28,751 miles is continually losing all gauge functions, air conditioning, radio, turn signals and emergency flashers are affected. Problem originally surfaced in late 2017 with about 12,000 miles while the vehicle was on the highway. The next day vehicle was taken to auto nation chevrolet and dealer advised to return the car when the problem reoccurred, about a week later the vehicle was taken to the dealership with the problem. The vehicle was returned but i was not advised of what caused the malfunction and problem did not reoccur until 1/27/21 the vehicle was left unused overnight and next morning vehicle did not have the malfunction. The problem reappeared on 2/10/21 and while filming the occurrence the malfunction cleared and vehicle was once again operational. The vehicle was stationary in the last 2 incidents but the problem originally occurred various times while the vehicle was in motion. To this date i do not know what causes the vehicle to lose all gauge and other vehicle functions. I have videos of the occurrences and i am submitting screen shots from the videos all of which are with the ignition on and engine running. The 4th screenshot submitted shows when the display is returning to normal while the problem existed on 2/10/2021.

Digital gauge cluster eventually shorts due to factory-installed wiring being too short. Needs a special wiring harness to lengthen the wires to prevent premature wear. Affects everything from the radio, to critical vehicle information such as mileage, fuel level, current speed, rpms, etc.this issue can occur at any time. In my particular case, the vehicle was operating fine in the morning, was shut off, and then no longer functioning in the afternoon upon starting up again.

On several occasions while in traffic the engine shut down for the "auto start" and failed to restart upon releasing the brake. The car stalls completely out at which point i have to place the car in park and start it again before putting it in drive to proceed. While in traffic this is a terrible hazard as the first time it happened, the car behind me instinctively took off as the light changed and by me releasing the brake that indicated "go". In the another instance i was at a light located at the top of a slight hill when the same situation occurred and the same scenario had to be completed in order to get the car to move again. Extremely dangerous. This vehicle is a lemon.

Vehicle stalls every time auto stop kicks on. This is a safety hazard while i'm in motion, and turning, on a highway, and city street!

The car caught fire from inside the cab. I'm not sure why or what happened exactly but it burnt. It was a total loss. Luckily it was stationary when it happened

"no remote detected" message or intermittent remote functionality. This has happened about 5 times now. I have been able to get it working by pressing the unlock button on the key fob and then it recognizes the key fob. The vehicle is parked and i get in to try and start car.

Cpsp: on 10/3/2017 my daughter informed me that since she activated her drivewise device on her 2017 chevy cruze the previous day, her brakes suddenly seemed to become extremely sensitive, almost to the point of locking her wheels up when applied gently..updated 11/09/17 the consumer stated the insurance agent was contacted and advised not to use the device. Updated 10/16/2017the consumer was advised the drivewise device may have been faulty and to return it. The consumer received a new device that operates properly. Updated 11/13/2017

The contact owns a 2017 chevrolet cruze. The contact was unable to start the vehicle. The contact stated that the ignition and steering were inoperable. The vehicle was towed to mirak chevrolet (1125 massachusetts ave, arlington, ma 02476, (781) 641-6801) where it was diagnosed that the ignition needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and case number: 8-4384152866 was opened. The approximate failure mileage was 4,000.

The steering started moving up and in a locked position now the steering wheel and column will come only to your knees.i almost crashed the car when putting on the brakes because the steering wheel goes to the left. Not syre if the air bag will go off as needed.steering wheel when putting on the brake sends car moving to the left. The steering wheel is able to control it can be moved by just a little movement of your hand.

The car is only a couple months old and the stabilitrak system light came on asking me to service it im taking to the dealership tommorrow. But im scared to drive it cause itsswaying left to right cause of the stabilitrak i guess but this didnt strt happening until it rained the other day and every time i turn the car on the the lights dim and flicker and acts like it wants to cut off n when i drop my speed down to 40 it acts like it wants to cut off

The service stability track light came on all of a sudden and the car was shaking. My warranty team out at 63000 miles, and i was only at 93000. I had to have the injector replaced and they said i also have to replaced the valve spring cover. The mechanic said this is a known issue with chevy cruze and that gm knows of the issue, but refuses to issue a recall. In just my area, one dealership has sold 300 injectors and valve spring covers recently. I do not have several thousand dollars to fix a problem that gm is aware of. There is no reason i am having to fish or this much money and my car isn't even over 100,000 miles and is less than 2 years old. Something needs to be done with gm.

Vehicle was in motion going approx 35 mph uphill on residential road when it started vibrating and "service stabilitrak" light came on. Pulled over into gas station and shut car off. Sat for 2 minutes before turning back on. Service stabilitrak light remained on with some vibration. Merged onto highway and attempted to reach the speed limit of 65 mph. Cruze would not allow me to accelerate above 60 mph. Service breaks light came on and then got an alert stating that power steering had failed. Car basically shut itself down and i had trouble getting it to fully turn off. Steam/smoke then began coming out from under the hood and liquid from the car was all over the road. Towed to chevy dealer where they discovered a hole in the engine block, otherwise known as a catastrophic failure. Car had 27k miles on it at the time. It was an extremely scary and dangerous ordeal.

I have been experiencing loss of power steering upon vehicle startup, which has at times persisted into the beginning of my drive.a stabilitrak warning is displayed on the driver information center indicating an issue with the electric power steering.there is a definite physical loss of power steering that recovers within a minute.this message and loss of power steering seems to occur during cold and wet/rainy conditions where temperatures are estimated below 40 f.the whole electric power steering rack assembly was replaced under waranty in q1 2018, but did not fix the root cause.at that time, the dealer was able to locate diagnostic codes, but in two subsequent visits for the same issue, the dealer has been able to solve this issue.it is ponderous that the dealer has insisted that a stabilitrak message warning of loss of power steering does not register in any of the computer systems.how can this be true?

Internal turbo charger failure.not getting enough boost pressure consistently.car will be moving along fine down the highway, and then suddenly drop speed.

I was driving check engine light came on. I immediately drove car home. Got tental. Called my warranty company had car towed to garage. Haragevis mot qualified to replace turbo engine. Waiting til morning to fix.

Cylinder miss fireing jerks really badback and fourth at high rmps 7000 befors shifts feela like a piston issues and also that feela.likewngine going blow up

The contact owns a 2017 chevrolet cruze. The contact stated that while decelerating at speeds under 5 mph the auto stop feature activated before coming to a complete stop. After releasing the brake pedal the vehicle failed to auto restart. The contact had to manually restart the vehicle. The failure recurred on multiple occasions. The cause of the failure was not determined. The local dealer paddock chevrolet located at (3232 delaware ave, kenmore, ny) was notified of the failure. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 1,000. The vin was invalid.

When trying to accelerate quickly the vehicle feels like it's going to die out then the check engine light will come on, but after about 25-30miles it turns off. Mainly occurred when accelerating into the free way with an incline or uneven roadway

Was traveling approximately 62 mph i pressed the gas pedal to the floor and the power stopped from the engine and the transmission down shifted causing a loud thud noise in the dash board area. The vehicle never increased speed it dropped down to approximately 50 mph until i exited, upon exiting i came to a complete stop and restarted the vehicle. When accelerating the dash board now vibrated at approximately 5000 rpm. I took the vehicle to the dealer paddock chevrolet.driving in the vehicle with the service representative roland we were able to recreate the secondary vibration. The dealer said there are no codes for the loss of power. I left the vehicle at paddock and it is there now. Gm has been non-responsive case #8-3183509862. I have been in high-speed accidents before and am deeply afraid to drive this vehicle with out knowing why there was power loss and when it will happen again.

This particular model has a auto shutoff feature when idle. But on a hill, when it auto shuts off, the car rolls back when the brakes are released.

The contact owns a 2017 chevrolet cruze. While driving on an incline, the vehicle decelerated and accelerated without warning. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who test drove the vehicle and stated that the throttle body needed to be checked. The vehicle was taken to three different dealers, including phillips chevrolet (866-469-9000, located at 9700 w lincoln hwy, frankfort, il 60423). All three dealers were unable to diagnose the failure and stated that the vehicle was fine. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 10,000.

The vehicle has been in motion at any speed... When pressing on the gas"throttle all the way down" vehicle has a brief interruption of acceleration and check engine light comes on reporting code p0325. Engine knocks/shakes and lose acceleration and reduced power for over 50+ miles after each incident. I have had the engine repaired twice and rebuilt. Ecm has been reprogrammed and gm flew a engineer to troubleshoot i am again having problems 10k miles more and this is ongoing and dangerous. Please please investigate this as gm has not taken ownership of this defect. If you would like all 10+ service records related to this i am more than happy to share and onstar has preformed vehicle diagnostics after each instance. What ever you need please let me know! thanks for all that you do!there were a multitude of instances vehicals engine was rebuilt/replaced at 7k again at 14k and now at 40k power train is showing same signs and symptoms of previous issues

The contact owns a 2017 chevrolet cruze. While driving 70 mph, the vehicle turned off without warning. The contact had to press the start button to get the vehicle to drive again. On three different occasions, while driving 70 mph, the vehicle decelerated to 40 mph. The vehicle was taken to starling chevrolet (13155 s orange blossom trail, orlando, fl 32837) where they replaced the motor, but the failure recurred. After multiple trips to the dealer, the sensor was replaced, but the failure recurred a couple of months later. The manufacturer was contacted and made aware of the failures. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was 19,000.

The contact owned a 2017 chevrolet cruze. While accelerating, the vehicle shook. Williams chevrolet (2 automotive blvd, rt. 40, elkton, md 21921, (443) 406-1065) asked the contact to bring the vehicle in, but the contact declined. The manufacturer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact did not want the vehicle and it was repossessed by the bank. The failure mileage was 2,000. Consumer had 2 flat blow-outs.

I was driving the vehicle when the entire car started to shake.immediately the check engine started to blink and a warning displayed service stabilitrak.i took it to the dealership and was told that there us a misfire of the first valve which cause the other valves to misfire.after diagnosing the problem, i was told that its the injector and spark plug causing the problem and this is mot covered under the warranty.the car is less than 3 years old with only 40k miles.

64,000 miles, car started sputtering, service stabilitrac and check engine lights came on. Dealership said piston ring broke and scored the cylinder wall beyond repair. Need to replace engine.

The contact owns a 2017 chevrolet cruze. The contact stated while driving 35 mph, the vehicle vibrated abnormally. The contact stated the stabilize and engine warning light was illuminated. The contact was able to park on the side of road where she saw smoke exiting the engine. The vehicle was towed to chevrolet of everett located at 7301 evergreen way, everett, wa 98203, where it was diagnosed with needing the engine to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The contact stated on august of 2018, while driving 40 mph, the vehicle stalled and began to decelerate it speed. The contact stated the dashboard screen went black. The contact stated she was able to shift gears to park and restart the ignition. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer were it was unable to duplicate the failure. The contact stated 'you are at demonstration mood' warning message was illuminated. The contact stated on another occasion while making a left hand turn, when the vehicle seized.the manufacturer had been informed of failure. The failure mileage was 20,000.

Vehicle has stalled 4 times now in the past week or so. It has passed inspections at firestone and the oil change shop and there are no areas with suggested maintenance or repairs. The vehicle stalls after being in park or having my foot on the brake and not moving, and then attempting to accelerate/move again. All 4 times i have been on a level street or parking lot, with the wheels straight, after the engine had been running for several minutes up to an hour. I have to put it in park, turn off the vehicle, and then restart the engine again to continue driving.

Bought my car in september and it was running fine. I live in arizona and now that it's july it's very hot outside. I noticed about a month ago my car started stalling for a moment when i would try to accelerate on the freeway. And now it has randomly started stalling when stopped at a red light. When this happens i have to turn the car off and try to turn it back on (usually takes a couple times). There is no check engine light that ever comes on when this happens. I live about 33 miles away from my work so i drive quite a bit and it's gotten to the point where i don't feel safe driving it. There is no check light engine on ever so i can't take it into a repair shop.

Cylinder 1 experienced cracking due to low speed pre-ignition (lspi, commonly referred to as ā€œknockā€¯) just after exiting the highway in a 70 mph zone and produced a malfunction indicator lamp (mil) code of p0301. As evidenced in attachment 1, this caused damage to the antilock braking system due to loss of vacuum on the system and possible fouling due to foreign object damage to the vehicle abs. Later assessment by trained mechanics determined the root cause was due to insufficient structural capability of engine pistons to withstand brief periods of lspi. As evidenced by attachment 18-na-171 and pip5490, the vehicle manufacturer (general motors) is aware of the insufficient design of the pistons, has re-designed them to withstand lspi, however has not made an effort to notify me orreplace the existing part to prevent damage to the vehicle powertrain and abs. While this particular instance of piston cracking due to lspi has only had a financial impact on myself, loss of abs functionality and potential engine seizure at highway speeds have the potential to produce dangerous, if not fatal, conditions to other drivers with similar hardware.

Vehicle purchased under 1 month ago with 15k miles on it. Vehicle was stationary at a red light with auto stop engaged, i attempted to accelerate as light turned green; auto stop attempted to turn on, then seemingly failed and vehicle completely shut off. Required me to put vehicle in park, then turn key so ignition was off then back on again, vehicle came back on with no issues and i drove away. Outside temperature was 109 f, and this occured at the end of my 25 mile drive home from work using mostly surface streets.

Car having major miss fireing and very bad jerking back and fourth at high rirmp.7000 and does italot which ia causing me to have more pain and injury to.my.back. Am disable veteran. Im im alot of pain andcausinf my recent back surgery tohave more issues due to a @#$%ed up carpoor design

First the car shaked while we were waiting at a traffic light on a city street. Then we went to drive into a tunnel and i could not accelerate, we had to roll down the hill to keep moving. Then the brakes would not work properly. The car said service brake assist, i had to step very hard on the brake pedal repeatedly to try to stop the car from hitting the car in front of us. Once we stopped again the car seemed like it had died. I tried to accelerate by stepping fully on the pedal and nothing. Then i put the car in park and tried to turn off the car but that did not work either. It was not until the 3rd time of trying to turn the car off that the vehicle actually turned off. We were able to turn the car back on and at first nothing happened, but then the car started to work again. We found on google that i should not let the car go back into auto-stop in the hope that this would not occur again since we were getting on interstate 95.

This is for the knock sensor i have changed it 5 times it will last maybe a month or at the longest 2 months and it will throw the check eng. I own a 2017 cruze and bought it brand new. Had issues with the key fob working properly from the beginning and my engine light coming on for seemingly no reason. One of the times i was stopped at a red light after exiting the highway, my auto-stop engine kicked off and would not come back on when i released the break. My car would not turn off at all, i would push the power button, the car would turn off for half a second and then turn back on but my engine didn't come back on with it. I started rolling backwards and could not shift gears. A second time my engine light started flashing as i started to accelerate getting on the highway and a warning came up saying stabilizer. I had to pull over in the middle of the highway and turn my car off. My car has been taken to the dealer for service every time something happens and every time they tell me there are no codes and nothing they can do to fix it. I filed 2 different complaints with gm and was told they won't do anything without any codes because to them my car looks like it is functioning properly

When trying to accelerate instead of the car speeding up it will stall or slow down. My car had stopped on me in the middle of traffic before while driving. I had to turn my car off and try to restart which it struggled to restart but after trying a few times it started. The dealership stated it was an issue with the fuel injector. This has happened on a city street and also when turning or entering the highway

When vehicle is sitting in auto-stop mode, releasing the brake and pressing the gas pedal will randomly cause vehicle to stall. I have taken it to different chevrolet dealerships and no one can figure out the cause of it and they cannot replicate the issue. (the mechanics are not driving the vehicle long enough for it to happen.) this happens more often during summer months, but has happened over the 2020 winter. I have to put the vehicle in park, turn it off and back on to get the car moving. This is especially dangerous if i am trying to turn in front of oncoming traffic.

The contact owns a 2017 chevrolet cruze. While the contact's spouse was driving approximately 55 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. The contact was able to restart the vehicle; however, it performed erratically. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who stated that the pistons were burnt and referred the contact to malloy chevrolet. The vehicle was taken to malloy chevrolet (2700 valley ave, winchester, va 22601, (540) 667-1000) where it was diagnosed that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact was given a cost estimate of $6,000 to replace the engine. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 70,000.*ln

Vehicle has had a misfire that only threw a single generic misfire code for cylinder 3.jerks occasionally when slowing down at stop lights or signs.recently went to turn around after missing a turn, shifted it into reverse after stopping in a random driveway off a city road, slowly began to back up and it moved about an inch before the steering wheel completely locked up, a/c shut off, car acted like it was in neutral and would only roll forward, would not accelerate with gas.engine was still running, no lights came on, but problem remained until i put it in park and shut the vehicle off.turned it back on and it started normal and haven't had a problem since but it's only been 2 days.took it in to dealership and found 0 codes and are unsure as to what could possibly create the issue due to no codes and it only happening intermittently.

The contact owned a2017 chevrolet cruze. The contact stated while driving at approximate 25 mph when she unexpectedly saw smoke coming from her rear view mirror without warning. The contact immediately exited the vehicle and dialed 911 when shortly after the front of the vehicle where the engine was located and burst into flames. The fire department doused the flames. A report was taken however not available. The dealer was notified and referred the contact to the manufacturer but and a message was left. The failure mileage was 28,000. The vehicle was totaled.

The contact owns a 2017 chevrolet cruze.the contact stated that while driving at 30 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. Thevehicle was towed to dealer (bryner chevrolet 1750 the fairway, jenkintown, pa 19046) for repairs but the failure was not able to be determined. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. At around 57,000 miles service stabilitrack message displayed on dashboard. Next day cel came on. Rough idling. Took it to closest chevy dealer told it was a misfire in cylinder 1. New spark plugs and coil pack. Didn't fix. Ran compression test and low compression on that cylinder (110 vs 220 in other 3 cylinders). Took it to the dealership we purchased it from and for sure it's a piston. Replacing all 4 pistons n seals under our warranty.

This vehicle was in an accident at night due to the "automatic" lighting system either was non operations, not focused in the correct direction or not bright enough.the cruze vehicle was driving south bound to a lighted intersection from a stop sign a block away.the north bound car was at a stop waiting for the light to turn green.upon turning green and after viewing the opposite lane to yield, the north bound car proceeded to turn left and did not see the cruze until it was already in a turn and later stated that the cruze came out of no where. The cruze was totaled.the witness to the accident, another northbound car, stated that the north bound car was going extremely slow as the light just turned green.it is noted that the 2016 vehicles were recalled for the exact same issue.

Exterior front head lamp condensation on both left and right sides.had back to dealer several times in past 2 years.dealer says it is normal and to live with it.the condensation happens standing or in motion. All depending on outdoor weather.

The contact owns a 2017 chevrolet cruze. The contact stated that she noticed a fracture on one of the rear brake light on the side. The contact stated that recently a passenger in the rear of the vehicle pointed out that the rear brake light was fractured allowing water to leak inside the vehicle into the head visor. The contact stated that they noticed the seal around the brake light and surrounding area was not properly sealed. The contact had not taken the vehicle to the dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 60,000.

The contact owns a 2017 chevrolet cruze. The contact noticed that the high mount brake seal was cracked. The vehicle was taken to hometown chevrolet buick gmc (2009 barnes st, reidsville, nc 27320, (336) 634-0050) where it was diagnosed that the third high mount brake light needed to be repaired. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 36,829.

The headlights are very dim on this vehicle. This is a brand new car but it is the ls model which does not have separate daytime running lamps. Instead of daytime running lamps, the headlights are on anytime the ignition key is in the run position.whether or not the headlight switch is set to "auto" or the headlights are turned on manually makes no difference in headlight intensity.i've taken the car to the dealership and they claim that they cannot find the problem. But the problem persists. When i drive on he freeway at night i can tell that the headlights on neighboring cars are brighter. I am often forced to use the high beams when there are no other sources of illumination.i wonder if the lighting "computer" is supposed to be able to control the power of the headlights. I've noticed that chevy cruzes with discrete dt running lamps (leds) still utilize the low beam headlights (projector beam) but in a dimmed mode.my vehicle has old fashioned halogen headlights. I need to determine if the lighting computer is dimming my headlights because it can't differentiate night from day. This problem persists at all times. It could be that this vehicle model has poor headlights. I've owned and driven many cars over a long stretch of time.but rarely have i driven a vehicle that had such poor headlights.

Third brake light cracked and letting water in my trunk. Where my battery and other electrical components are located.

When trying to accelerate quickly the vehicle feels like it's going to die out then the check engine light will come on, but after about 25-30miles it turns off. Mainly occurred when accelerating into the free way with an incline or uneven roadway

Fuel inectors: at times it seems the car gets sluggish, and fights to get gas to the injectors. At times, there isn't enough power to keep the car going. My car was on an open highway when i experienced this issue.

The contact owns a 2017 chevrolet cruze. The contact stated that while decelerating at speeds under 5 mph the auto stop feature activated before coming to a complete stop.

Almost new vehicle (304 mi when rented from hertz in san antonio, tx, 751 when returned).on freeway near limit speed (70 and 75 mph), coasting deceleration (to 60-65?) for slow traffic ahead, transmission downshifted on its own, causing rapid deceleration (est. 10 mph more), accelerator not effective for ~2 sec.occurred twice in about 1 hr.first event -- heavy traffic, traffic ahead slowing for transition ramp curve, slight uphill curve.if throttle was applied, it was very light to stop deceleration and match speed of traffic ahead.slowing on downshift was enough to cause vehicle behind me to take evasive action (brake and quickly change lanes).second occurrence, minimal traffic, level, straight 2-lane freeway, coasting to wait for truck passing another truck.when lane cleared, applied significant throttle.i think almost immediate deceleration.deceleration and lag time to acceleration seemed similar to first assurance.i was too distracted by the events to look at tachometer, but i suspect engine autostop engaged during the coasting and downshift was related to restart of engine.not sure but think i hit cancel on speed control rather than brake for both events.best guess, either bad software (not accounting for the speed of vehicle and allowing engine shutdown), or hardware fault related to reporting vehicle speed.i expect multiple similar times i coasted to slow, but uncertain if duration of coasting was the same, so would wonder if it could be an intermittent hardware fault, or combination of factors i'm not thinking about.

The transmission shift's and popped hard some of the times, from parked into reverse or from drive into reverse mode, only into reverse tho not in any other gear just reverse, but it's not all the time that it happens ethier once or twice a day, every time i drive around town that same day. Could my transmission be going out ?

Hydraulic clutch activating system will fail at times resulting ot being able to disengage clutch. System has acdv a clutch delay orifice valve that clogs and allows fluid to go into an accumulator , thus not releasing the clutch. Its been a problem with earlier cruzes of 2011 2016. And ours2017 ( gen2).cruze talk .com a chat room already shows a fix, but not 'gm" idea.we love the diesel that lists 52mpg , and has gotten 60mpg in the past. Been back to dealer 3 times on a flat bed since clutchpedal goes to floor and no clutch action.i myself searched the web and found tsbpip5558c which i told the dealer and is documented on warrentyclaim . The tsb temporarily fixed issue. Presently dealer is ordering a slave cylinder which involves splitting the transaxle to replace. Cruze talk .com states that is not the problem. Cruze talk .com has a fix that involves no added pparts but instead requires removing the cdv and acculumulator. No non gm parts. Dealer " can,t use any non g parts but removing a pice or 2 would solve the problem. This is a safety issue. Already cars have reaended others caus clutch won,t disengage or trying to shift upp and have a truck etc. Run over yu cause can,t shift gears. Would think this issue has crossed your desk before. Llok up on web "cruze clutch pedal goes to floor" and see lots of comments. Cruzetalk has several which includes accidents cause of clutch failure.please help us/. Love diesels , had to give up our2011 vw jetta cause ofthem cheating on immissions. Got a bonus + value and bought this cruze diesel for only2300.00 diff. We are 81 and 79 , the only new car we ever had and now this. I am a retired mechanic so i know of what i speak. I hope they don,t milk this clutch issue till warranty expires. Already fighting over 5 yr 60,00 drive train warranty. Would like to keep the car with 6spd tranny please help

Clutch pedal drops to the floor and sticks, does not return. Occasionally sticking point is high enough that it is still possible to shift gears.sometimes the engagement point is too low and gearshifting becomes impossible unless driver can perfectly rev-match and float into the gear.chevy service department came back with tsb #pip5558c for debris stuck in small orifice in hydraulic line and estimated ~1500 in repair costs on a car that only has 40k miles, as the clutch system is not covered under the powertrain warranty- why????it is very dangerous to suddenly and without warning become unable to shift gears in a manual car.this problem has happened to me ~5 times in three weeks, sometimes while stopped at a light or stop sign and sometimes while driving at speed.pedal can be pulled up into normal position by foot or hand but hydraulic pressure does not return, thus clutch is useless.this issue appears to be very common as there are numerous threads on the website cruzetalk.com related to the issue and tsb.the fact that there even is a tsb for this issue speaks to its prevalence.for gm to ignore this dangerous fault in their vehicles is irresponsible at best.

Clutch pedal does not return to the up position after pushing it to the floor to release the clutch.once the vehicle is in gear, it cannot be taken out of gear.the clutch does not release even if the clutch is fully depressed to the floor. The clutch pedal can be manually pulled back to the up position, but has no effect on the clutch being dis-engaged.

Cylinder miss fireing jerks really badback and fourth at high rmps 7000 befors shifts feela like a piston issues and also that feela.likewngine going blow up

The first incident of the clutch pedal staying on the floor was right after start up on a warm day.depressed the pedal and it did not return until physically manipulating it for several minutes.the problem seemed to go away for about a week or so.the second time was while driving on a high speed road (50mph) with traffic lights.thankfully this happened while downshifting to stop at a traffic light, however, it took a minute or two to get the pedal to return to some degree and get safely off the road all the while traffic was passing at higher speeds.if this happened on the freeway, it could have resulted in a serious crash due to the lack of shifting.after researching this problem, it is not the first that has been reported and there is a tsb regarding this issue, pip5558c.however, the tsb only calls for 2 parts (for my model car- diesel) to be replaced, clutch pipe and elbow, while all of the cases seem to have more parts needing replacement after the first round of "fixes", including the master and slave clutch cylinders.this should be upgraded to a safety recall due to the unpredictable nature of the problem, the fact that you lose the ability to safely control the speed of the car through shifting and the fact that similar problems are being recalled in europe for the international version of the car.i still have yet to get my car back (waiting for parts for a month now) to find out if this problem is fixed or if it will need more repairs.

I'm having tranny issues with my car. Its not showing any codes in the tranny control module. Its down shifting really hard and sometimes not even shifting. I have to pull over and sit there for 15 mins wasting my time when i could be getting my kids or going to work! i have seen about 30+ with this issues and chevy isn't doing anything about it.i do a lot of city driving. I don't even drive the car hard that's why im so upset. $24,000 piece of crab.

Clutch pedal became really soft. At one point, it had no resistance at all. I could not change gears when the car was on, but i could change gears when the car was off. The pedal was even stuck to the floor and would not come back at all. After being towed to the dealership, the clutch was back to normal, but nothing was done to the car. I believe something from the tow truck may have unstuck something. Now the clutch pedal has a weird feeling. Sometimes there is no resistance but when i press it a few times, i get some pressure back. The 'sweet spot' keeps moving.

When trying to accelerate quickly the vehicle feels like it's going to die out then the check engine light will come on, but after about 25-30miles it turns off. Mainly occurred when accelerating into the free way with an incline or uneven roadway

The hydraulic clutch has quit working with 53000 miles on the vehicle. And i could not get it to go into gear while trying to downshift in traffic and turn left across traffic.

In the days preceding 4/12/2019, my car's clutch pedal became soft.the pedal went soft over night, but also after driving down the highway for a few minutes.the dealer completed the repairs on 7/23/2019 after two attempts and many weeks of waiting for parts.the parts that were replace were the clutch pipe, elbow, master cylinder, and slave cylinder.while the car is branded a chevrolet, it is materially identical to vehicles sold in europe as either an opel astra or vauxhall astra.the engine was made in hungary, and the transmission was made in austria.since the beginning of this year, vauxhall has had a recall to replace these same parts and some of the hydraulic brake system parts for the same engine/transmission combination as in my 2017 cruze diesel with manual transmission.it is my opinion that other cars with this same engine/transmission will likely have the same soft clutch pedal which could lead to an inability to control the transmission and/or brakes.i believe gm should be compelled to recall these vehicles and fix them before a serious accident occurs.

In motion and depressed clutch pedal to slow for a turn. Pedal stuck to the floor and lifting it up did not return function. This problem can result in vehicle in gear or in neutral. Fluid level between minimum and maximum.

The clutch pedal went to the floor without disengaging clutch.this happened in my driveway before starting the trip, and there was no collision or injury at this time.i read that this is a very common issue with these cars, and that it has caused hazardous situations in traffic for others, and that for a similar european model it is the subject of a safety recall in europe.

I was test driving a new 2017 chevy cruze...while attempting toaccelerate to merge into traffic from the on ramp of the interstate, the car just revs up for like 5 secs before finally accelerating into traffic....this is a *****major flaw*****i thought the car had slipped into neutral....the lag time for the motor and transmission to engage is a highly****deadly****design failure...

Fluid leak when riding for along period on interstate under dash where braking is

Brake pedal sinks slowly to floor and brakes require a stronger shove to activate.this happened several times on first drive after car was stationary.seems normal after that at this time.car has a manual transmission which shares a clutch & brake fluid system.car has already had clutch system repaired due to fluid leak and debris from clutch release component.european recall of similar model includes replacing brake components as well as clutch components.

Vehicles comes with a engine stop on/off that can't be turned off. What this does is that it 'turns off' the engine when idling to save gas. What happens is that this engages even before brake pressure hits 100%. So when in an uphill or downhill and coming to a stop the car tends to shut down when it reaches low speeds. However, when this happens the car starts rolling and you can't steer correctly because power steering is turned off. This creates a safety hazard because it engages before pressure is 100% causing the car to shut down early and you start rolling unexpectedly without any power steering. Vehicle was approaching a red light in a slight uphill. Car rolled from :34-:50 seconds backward. I re gained control of ny car once i let go completely off my brake(this causes the auto stop on/off to disengage)

With less than 25,000 miles on this leased vehicle all four brake rotors were rusted to the point of deterioration and chipping. The rust was so thick and rough that it was grinding away the pads with stopping ability seriously diminished. One rear brake pad was ground down to the metal surface. The dealer would not warranty the rotors as brakes are considered normal vehicle maintenance. In fact , i was told by the service manager that an equinox was in his shop with the same problem. That vehicle's mileage was 19,000. The condition of these rotors was anything but normal, as though they were manufactured using a poor quality and /or porous material. On average vehicle rotors last up to 50,000 miles and through two sets of brake pads. My claim is that these severely rusted rotors are a safety issue due to the diminished stopping ability, compared to the smooth surface a rotor is intended to maintain.

The contact owns a 2017 chevrolet cruze. The contact stated while driving 60 mph, the brake pedal had to forcefully be depressed with both feet to slow the vehicle down while coming to a stop. The contact stated that the brake assist warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was not drivable. The contact towed the vehicle to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed with needing the brake assist vacuum pump to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired but experienced the failure a second time. The contact took the vehicle back to the local dealer. The vehicle was not repaired. The repair was pending. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.

I received a waiting notification stating 'service braking system' while i was driving on the freeway and then my cars brake pedal began to stick and vibrate while there being nothing wrong with the pads. Rotors, brake lines, or brake fluid. It could've caused me to get into an accident and hurt others or myself due to this faulty brake system.

Issue>ebrake warning light on i was driving down the road and about 20 miles into my drive the system alerted me of the parking brake or e brake needed to be released. I have not usedthis brake, but i stop press it all the way in and press again to release.start driving and lime 100ft it dings alerting me again. I press the check button and the warning and brake light go away.. This has been happening for last 5 miles. Going to get it checked first thing.

The manufacturer was notified of the failure and was provided case number: 8-3724651728. The failure mileage was approximately 59,238.

The steering column adjustment lock does not lock properly. When i set the wheel where i want it drops to the next setting and while driving it drops on its own. This makes me swerve, sometimes at hwy. Speeds.

Having trouble with the trunk not opening with the key faub or trunk release button or the one on the lid! very aggravating u can hear it clicking like its trying but wont open but when it does it happens as your driving down the road, its happened several times , and for being a 2017 cruze and not having a cruise control is just stupid! only 2 years old shouldn't behaving any problems very annoying!!

2017 chevrolet cruze lt, trunk filling up with water in the battery compartment, when it rains. Trunk liner is dry aside from the trunk door. Battery under water.

Opened trunk today after car was parked in a parking uncovered in a normal rain (not heavy or severe weather) and water was in trunk around the bottom gasket seal and dip where the trunk latch is. Upon further inspection the water has leaked into the bottom of the trunk where the spare tire and battery is and the trunk liner is soaked at the bottom where it comes in contact with the seal when closed. Unsure as to where the leak is happening as nothing else feels wet around the seals.

Came to a stop at the stop sign we car wouldn't accelerate tap the gas pedalwould accelerate so i pressed harderthen car take off pressed breaks car would stop tell i crashed

Almost 6 months to the day of purchase, i was planning a trip that required 3.5 hours of highway driving.the day before my trip, i had an unfamiliar alert, so i took it to autonation under warranty.they found the car had been in a major accident where the front end had been "straightened" and advised me not to risk driving it on the trip. A major accident where the front end had to be straightened was not disclosed to me.autonation told me to go to offleaseonly, because the warranty was voided by repairs not being done by a chevy dealership.autonation showed me, while on the lift, the evidence.i contacted offlease and they did not even look at my vehicle and told me that they could not help me.i sent photos and they said they could not help and said i should contact chevy corporate offices and fight for the warranty.i returned to autonation and paid a diagnostic fee of $175.73 and got specifics on costs which i shared with offlease--$2500 for mechanical repairs and structural repairs would start at $1500 with no guarantee the front end would be as safe and that correcting the shoddy work on the frame could degrade its structure and stability.autonation said that they are notorious for selling cars like this. Offlease representatives declined to work with me.i provided with the recommendation by autonation that offlease should claim a loss through their insurance and replace my car.offlease declined and referred me to pepboys for repair, but when asked the estimated cost, they never responded.i only drive in town. I have had to rent/borrow a car for travel to extended distances to avoid the fear.offlease claims to inspect vehicles well & care about their customers; but they have shown no interest in my safety.

My 2017 chevrolet cruze displayed a check engine light one day after driving to the gym from my home (about 7 miles) and sitting for about an hour and half. The check engine light was solid and i drove home without noticing anything odd with the car. Figuring it was a non-issue i let the car sit for about 45 minutes and went back out and turned the car on to see the check engine light was still on. I then got an email from onstar saying that my car had an issue with the transmission system or battery. Finding that concerning i took my car to the nearest chevrolet dealership. They could not find any major codes and reset the check engine light and sent me on my way. The light came back on the next day. Calling the dealership back i made an appointment to have the car checked by a technician. When i showed up for my appointment i was told i should unplug any cell phone chargers as that could be a possible issue. They reset the cel and i left only to have the light pop back on again within 10 minutes. I then took the car back that day to have a more thorough inspection. They ended up finding rust in the trunk pan. Rust in the bottom of a 2017 vehicle. Sounds like a pretty big defect to me. I was told if i wanted gm to try and fix the vehicle it would result in diminished value for my car. Up to this point, there was no other indication of anything leaking or any other electrical issues. There are many reports of these cars leaking in the trunk area. Time for gm to do something about this issue.

Trunk wont open at times when hitting the release button inside car or on the keychain. I can hear clicking like its opened but it isnt and it says on the dash screen that it is. But it will open goin down the road while im driving thats very aggravating and dangerous! didnt see any recalls for this but i needed to bring this to your attention. Dont know if anyone else has had this problem. It started doing this a couple months ago. Its just random when it does it!

The high mount brake light housing fails to seal, allowing water to collect inside the trunk. If unchecked, water could continue to collect and possibly short the fuse box or battery that are located in the trunk. The dealer can replace the seal and/or housing to remedy.

Williams chevrolet (2 automotive blvd, rt. 40, elkton, md 21921, (443) 406-1065) asked the contact to bring the vehicle in, but the contact declined. The manufacturer was not contacted. At low speeds, the car made a knocking sound in the rear suspension when driving on an uneven road.

Third brake light cracked and letting water in my trunk. Where my battery and other electrical components are located.

When my vehicle comes to a complete stop it engages the auto stop system. At unknown times the system will fail to restart upon removing my foot from the brakes after having come to a stop at an intersection. When this occurs i then need to put the car in park and turn it off completely. I am then sometimes able to restart it immediately, however, on one occasion it took 45 minutes before the engine restarted while i was sitting at a stop light during heavy traffic.this has been happening for the past several months and i have taken it to the dealer to be serviced however there is never a code that comes up stating the problem. Last week when it was serviced they replaced the auto stop system as well as the battery for the system. Not even a day after picking up my car did the same problem occur.

Water collects in the trunk within the spare tire well from the high mounted third brake light. If unchecked, water collection could short out the fuse box or battery that is also in the trunk. Remedy was to have the dealer replace the seal around the high mounted third brake light.

I bought this chevrolet cruze new in july 2017. From new, after you drive the car for approximately 15 minutes with the air conditioner on, there is a chemical smell coming from the vents. It lasts about 5 minutes but may come back with a longer drive. It is a very unpleasant smell. I took it two dealers and have worked with gm. Gm admits there is a problem and have released pit5726 describing the exact problem i am having, but they do not have a solution to offer me. I am concerned about inhaling this chemical smell.

I pulled into my car port and noticed that my car had already shut off, not knowing that it was still in drive. I left my foot on the brake, took off my seat belt and opened my door to exit. The car started and lurched forward as i was partially out of the vehicle. My wife was still in the vehicle and managed to get it into park before i was run over as it would have also hit my motorcycle that was parked in front of it. I find that the car has a "auto stop" which turns off the engine while you are stopped and in gear, then the engine starts automatically when you remove your foot from the brake. Any other time your car will not start while in gear but with this it starts if you want it to or not, even when in gear getting out of the car causing injury or death. I myself suffered some bruising and minor cuts.

I was driving down highway 295 in new jersey doing 70 mph when i heard some knockin under my hood of my car... I get near the paulsboro exit when i hear the knocking again i get to the exit and my power steering isnt working so i forcefully turn the wheel to pull over i turn on my hazards on pop the hood and i see my serpentine belt is off the rotation track and i get my phone and use the light and see the alternator hanging by a wire hanging underneath my car. I called chevy told them what happened to my car they towed my car to chevy certified mechanics i asked how did this happen and nobody knows why my 2017 car tried to kill me on 295

The horn system is not loud enough for the road. It fells to alert other vehicles on the road. I almost got into an accident and the horn failed to alert the person who was about to hit me. The horn can not penetrate another vehicles interior until the vehicle is 1 foot away. This is not enough time for the other vehicle to react.

When i start the vehicle and driving it frequently gives off an antifreeze smell from the interior

Since i bought this vehicle every now and again after i get gas the check engine light comes on i know that i tighten the cap as it says in the owners manual and replacing gas cap

While driving a very distracting 'warning message' will appear on the information screen which takes the drivers focus away from the road for an extended period. This is especially distracting at night since the message will light up the inside of the vehicle to the point of affecting visibility. This message must be acknowledged to remove it from the information screen. Photograph is attached which illustrates vehicle was in motion at the time the message was generated distracting the driver severely. The message says, "taking your eyes off the road too long too often could cause a crash resulting in injury or death to you or others. Focus your attention on driving". This is quite ironic as it is an extreme distraction that takes time to read. This is a random occurrence that may happen several times in a day or once in a week.

I was unaware of my vehicles recall until 12/15/2019 when i've went to the tire multiple times and they advised me there is nothing in my tire. The sensor comes on daily and the pressure does not go above 10 and goes back forth from 0 . This is very dangerous

The contact owns a 2017 chevrolet cruze. While driving up a hill at 45 mph, the contact released the accelerator pedal and the vehicle began to accelerate on its own without warning. The contact depressed the brake pedal to stop the vehicle. Once he stopped the vehicle, the vehicle resumed normal driving function. The dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and stated that the vehicle was out of warranty; therefore, the contact would be responsible for the repair costs. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was 80,000.

Whiledriving our 2017 chevy cruze hatchback at nightime , the problem occurred on the highway. The orange lines that are made in this vehicle for antenna & rear glass defroster that lights from cars behind me all i was getting were strong almost blinding glare from the rear glass ,i did try to avoid glare with day/nite mirror it did`nt help at all. I don`t know if it`s a defect or other problem? please advise , because this vehicle i`m feel it will cause a critical accident etc.

The windshield wipers failed to return to the off position. They got stuck in the on position. The vehicle was in motion at the time the issue occurred. The wipers remained stuck even as the vehicle was parked and turned off. Attempts to reset the wipers using manual force were unsuccessful. The next morning en route to the dealer, the wipers returned to the off position upon starting the vehicle to drive. The wipers stuck again several times while driving to the dealership for service.

Right after i purchased the 2017 chevy cruze i noticed a small delay with the wipers when they were indownward motion but really didn't think anything of it. However, a month later i'm driving on the highway in the rain the wipers froze in the upward position! probably one of the most terrifying experience i've had. (note: it takes very little rain to completely block visibility when driving) thankfully i was able to get into theright hand lane and was able to get us off the road. The wipers remained in the upward position for 15-20 minutes before finally reacting the wiper lever.

Routine tire rotation performed by chevrolet dealer (schumacher chevrolet, little falls, nj) rotated tire but failed to reprogram tpms.the tmps system identified slow leaks in both rear tires but in reality the front tires were faulty.

I had my car serviced at a local gm dealership (suburban chevrolet in ann arbor, mi), where my tires were rotated, oil changed, and a recall fixed. As i left the dealer/service department that day i felt my car pulling slightly to the right. I didn't think anything of it until the following day when i was driving in to work and the pulling continued, with my steering wheel slightly wobbling. I left work for an appointment a few hours later and as i was driving my steering wheel started shaking more violently. I immediately pulled off at the first available exit, which was luckily the one for my father's work. I drove to his place of employement where he came out to check to see if my wheels/tires were ok. He found that all lug nuts on all four tires hadn't been properly tightened and were only "finger tightened." once he was sure to properly tighten all lug nuts i left and returned to the highway to get to my appointment. The steering wheel was no longer shaking, and while it continued to pull slightly, it was nowhere as severe as it was prior to the lug nuts being tightened. Majority of driving was highway.
