Consumer states has been a victim of automobile fraud, she states upon receiving title it read return to manufacturer, lemon law this was not disclosed to her about the vehicle at the time of purchase, consumer states vehicle will not start due to electrical problems.
Ignition coil wire shorted out several times prior to replacement, after replacement ignition coil failed again from short in system. Mjs
This problem has occured on 3 seperate occasions. The first occasion the car was proceeding at 40 mph, second time at 5 mph and the third time at 5 mph. This condition causes the car to stall, and not restart. The secondary ignition coil wire gets severed. I have all documentation from dealer visits regarind these occurences.

Was parked, enginenot running, and vehicle started burning. Fire marshall stated fire was started byanelectrical malfunction in battery fuse box area. Vehicle was totalled.
Unintended accelerationas i was approaching a traffic circle i started to apply the brakes, the engine started to accelerate. I applied the brakes as hard as i could and the engine continued to accelerate. I turned the off the car and it stopped but at the same time i hit the bumper of the vehicle in front of me. This is the third time this has occurred. For this last incident i checked and my foot was only on the brake peddle.
When slowing down to a stop ( at approximately 15 mph) the vehicle suddenly accelerated resulting in hitting the vehicle in front of mine.as my car was accelerating i pressed on the brake as hard as possible but it only slightly slowed the vehicle. I put the car in neutral as it was about 3 feet from the vehicle in front of me and i hit that vehicle at a much slower speed.this is the second time this happened. It occurred previously on approximately june 2008.

Fuel line rusted were it was rapped in foam. Leaking on to tail pipes. The corvette was out of the weather. I have the fuel line if you need to see.
Fuel gauge failed, it would indicate the fuel tank was full when, in reality, it was empty.
This component has been replace in the past year and a half. No safety defect listed within summary.

The contact owns a 1995 chevrolet corvette. While driving 55 mph, the transmission became stuck in second and third gears. The kartow dealer in east jordan, michigan was made aware of the failure and did not repair the vehicle. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was approximately 12,000. The vin was not available.

Both front rotors have been replaced 3 times due to vibration when braking.

Seal between the glass and the convertible top failed, replacement of the entire convertible top is necessary.

The low tire pressure warning sensor indicates a low tire pressure condition in the tire, otherwise unnoticable, which could lead to catastrophic tire failure if you continue to drive the car with out checking the tire pressure - essentially you can be driving around with a flat tire, and due to the extended mobility run flat tires having no different handling characteristics when flat verses properly inflated you will continue to drive it, and if ya go fast enough, could cause an accident for sure - the part i need to fix it, the left front ltpwsystem sensor, has been discontinued/is unavailable from chevrolet, and as far as i know, anyone else - they say to just drive the car even though the 'check ltpws sys' light comes on continuously, and i am not sure that this sensor does not interact in some way with the abs system, all in all creating a dangerous situation in my humble opinion- i have been working with henna on this since june '99 with no end in sight - they have a different story as to the part every time i talk with them - hal mathews the parts manager tries to be helpfull, but gm is just stonewalling him - all of the other sensors are available, (ie right front, rear, left rear) i bought the car brand new from henna in 1995, and i believe that gm not producing or making this part available could have potentially fatal consequences to the driver of a high performance car like a corvette which is designed for high performance driving, by causing a tire to literally explode from the heat produced from driving it at speeds with the tire flat and the driver cannot tell it from the cars handling - a tire explosion like i mention at speed would result in loss of control of the vehicle very possibly, resulting in an accident/ and or injury - i just thought this matter should be brought to your attention, and maybe you can do some thing about this dangerous situation, i dont believe i should just ignore the light, and i am not going to just forget about it i nr).
