The airbag came on i found broken wires in door hing still can t get light to go off.

The air bag warning light illuminated. This failure has occurred on multiple previous occasions. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure.

Airbag warning light stays on when engine is running. Google searched and found dozens of repeated explanations of the cause on vehicle & model years on each side of mine. The wiring from the body to the small rear extended cab door is too short and breaks as the door is used. One of the wires is in the airbag circuit and the indicator illuminates when the wire breaks. Upon looking under the rubber wire protection boot between the body & the door, it clearly revealed insufficient wire length to accommodate the door actuation. Clearly a design error and should be corrected by the manufacturer. No campaign on it per the dealer service advisor.

Brake lights and cruise control do not work. Checked fuses and they were good. Brake switch and electrical controller faulted required replacement.

Ignition switch caused motor to shut down while driving down the highway.

While driving the pass code anti-theft light came on. Parked at destination and three hours later returned to vehicle. Opened the vehicle with a key rather than the fob, vehicle would not start. The panel also indicated low fuel, but the tank was full. Waited two hours, hoping that it would reset. Vehicle still would not start.

The airbag came on i found broken wires in door hing still can t get light to go off.

Truck won't start for 10 minutes or so while in a parked position, and at times just after turning the vehicle off, it would not start. Intermittent starting issue. Has happened several times recently, stop to get gas and went to start truck and won't start after trying the key and popping the hood to check connections. Would attempt to start vehicle and nothing happens, no sound when turning the key, but all dash lights come on, radio works, horn works when trying to start. Waited a few minutes and tried again, repeated this several times after waiting a few minutes in between, then finally when trying after approximately 10 minutes, the truck would start. Called onstar the first time it happened, while talking to person making arrangements to tow, attempted to start vehicle while talking to tech assistance, finally the vehicle started. All during this issue the vehicle is in a stopped stationary position, engine turned off. Does not matter if in a parking lot, gas station by a pump, in my driveway or on the street parked. Have taken the vehicle to the dealership, they were unable to replicate the starting issue, claiming it was my battery, they tested and it flat lined. They charged for a battery ac delco, and didn't put that brand in my vehicle. They put in a low amperage battery with low cca. Yet billed me for the ac delco. I have called them and questioned them. This is fraudulent activity on the part of the dealership, overbilling and not putting the correct battery in the vehicle. Still the vehicle has this issue. Initially started 12/30/2019 and then again 1/10/2020 and the very last time 1/13/2020, all after arriving to my destination to work or at a gas station, when attempting to leave, this incident occurs. It has been suggested that the gm passlock system is going into "safety mode" for some reason. This information is from another source.

Brake lights and cruise control do not work. Checked fuses and they were good. Likely due to faulty brake switch. There is a recall out for this issue but it does not cover the 2010 model.

The passlock feature on the truck engages frequently without cause making me sit and wait out the 10-minute delay. This is always inconvenient, especially at the gas station with long lines behind me. This problem has the potential for being a safety hazard. The internet has a passlock by-pass procedures but i'm reluctant to modify the vehicle without gm's authorization. The local dealer had the truck for some time and came back with unable to find fault. The issue is so random that unless the truck is in their possession for a week it will not do it. This problem has me very much frustrated.

I am not able to start the truck most of the time. It goes into a safety mode and i have to wait 10 minutes. Thankfully my family has not been injured yet due to this but i don't think it should come down to injury. Their is lots of complaints about gm's passlock system and it is very dangerous.

Vehicle was in an enclosed space (garage) and there was a fuel smell. Upon inspection under the vehicle, there was a steady, but not flowing drip. The liquid was found out to be gasoline, so a call was made to the dealership. Dealership said they could service the vehicle on the day of the incident, june 2, 2015. The vehicle was brought into the dealership where i was given a rental to drive until the vehicle was repaired.the next day, dealership called and said vehicle was ready to pick up. When the vehicle was started at the dealership, it hesitated and did not start. The vehicle was attempted to start again, however, this time, fuel was leaking heavily from underneath. The dealer was notified of the spilled gasoline, and they kept it overnight to repair again. A few days later, dealership called and said the vehicle was ready for pick up. The date now is june 6, 2015. Upon starting the vehicle, it seemed to start smoothly, with no leaks or problems noted. There had been no problems with leaks or smells or drips until one week later, june 13, 2015. On the way home from work, in an employee parking lot, the vehicle was attempted to start, it delayed, did not start, and fuel was leaking from the bottom extremely heavily. Approximate area of fuel on the ground at this time was 16"x12" with a small puddle. The keys were taken out of the ignition and were never re-inserted until the tow truck came to transport it back to the dealership. Currently awaiting the diagnosis and repairs from dealership.
