Seat belt malfunction, 1992 chevrolet van g20with optionalpackage "mark iii" installed with"bedix" seat belts. Seat belt housing comes apart while using causing internal components to come looseand seat belt to come unlatched- then unusable. Also seat belt sudden retraction causes personal injury or property damage.1. Contacted honeywell the company owner of bendix- no reply2. Contacted general motors told to contact bendix- told aftermarket belts and they are not responsible and parts are not made by the company, however seat belt extensions are made by them and do fit these belts and buckles part # 25661625 "key safety systems,inc 50a053. Have seen same safety belts installed in new vehiclesdifferent housing than the "bendix" but the same as on the extender and the exact same as thebuckle.
Both brake lines crossing from right to left on the cross member are rusty and seeping brake fluid and resulted in the right front brake failing and the pedal to nearly go to the floor, the placement of the line causes the lines to get covered with mud, dirt and salt from the road which rust the lines.nlm
Consumer experiencing steering problems whenever vehicle is used for towing or without towing. Vehicle been in/out of dealer shop and condition cannot be corrected.
