The harness retainer on the carseat does not stay on the alpha omega carseat. It comes off very easily, which in turn means that my 9 month old daughter is not protected properly. I contacted cosco the maker of the carseat about this problem and they told me that they would get me a new piece but it is currently on back order. If we were to get into an accident or something to that extent my child could be seriously hurt.i bought this carseat to protect her, but it seems that it will not do this. I did notice that the alpha omega carseats on the store shelfs now have a different harness retainer that can not come off easily. I also know that other people are having this problem.

Upon driving vehicle at low speeds 20-30 mph with front and rear window defroster on,it became more, and more evident of a possible fire. First there was an increasing burning smell followed by smoke. A connector on the drivers side kick panel has melted being so close to the carpet its possible that it being winter moisture from melted snow somehow may have caused this to happen, a search on google seems to pullmultiple cars with this same problem. Also i want to note that i was not able to turn off my rear defrosted with the rear defroster switch, i had to pull the 30 amp fuse that still had a complete circuit in it!

The defrost wouldn't work when really rainy or cold and this started in winter of 2009. In summer of 2010 the ac worked only when fan was on med or high, but finally only on high. These were electrical wiring problems: ac due to blower resistor burned out and defrost caused by a resistor burned out. Ac started to smell like something electrical was burning. If this wasn't fixed any sooner could have caused fire i'm sure. Now i have to see what needs to be fixed now that i have service engine check light on. With these electrical issues had no service engine check light come on. O2 sensor replaced @ 68,000 and catalytic converter changed @ 56,000 and the recall for this vehicle replaced.

Ignition switch and the ignition lock cylinder malfunctioned in 2009, roughly five years after gm's recall. The original owner of the vehicle took advantage of the ignition switch's service. In addition to the recall, gm installed an ignition wiring harness. Back in 2009, the vehicle's ignition would overturn, and then, the engine would automatically shut-off. To repair the problem, both the ignition switch and lock cylinder were replaced at a cost of $492.in 2014, the ignition switch malfunctions. This time, it appears the ignition lock cylinder to be working properly. The ignition switch became damage due to current flow to the ignition when holding the key in the start position. The heat melted the internal switch. I had not known in 2014 that the problem was the ignition switch.in the same year, however, gm recalled a massive number of vehicles for ignition switch defect.chevrolet cavalier was not on the list. Today, it costs $180.00, excluding taxes and fees, to get the ignition switch installed by a chevrolet technician. A locksmith rate starts at $90 but does not include service fee, and labor. Based on few online reports, the installation takes a minimum of 20minutes.would installed the ignition switch myself but cannot locate step by step instructions.all the chevrolet manuals owned do not provide instructions on replacing the ignition switch.if i do install the ignition switch, i am unsure if the vehicle's computer will need reprogramming.a few reports made reference to reprogramming the vehicle's computer following the changing of the ignition switch.solution:i think gm needs to add chevrolet cavalier to the "recall" list. The alternative, ignition wiring harness does not support the electrical system entirely when the charging system light remains on the dashboard.

I bought a 2001 chevrolet cavilier on january 2007 used at 71,000 miles in march my car broke down on the highway with 1/4 tank of gas, never thought anything of it until it broke down again near my home, and i realized thegauge was reading wrong.i had to use thetrip setting to ensure i didn't run out of gas. I took it to a mechanic and spent $500 on a new fuel pump , the man said the sensor in the pump was out and the wires were damaged. Now, i am having trouble with theodometer that seems to be scrambling unless i push on the cover, it just shows random numbers and wont stay on trip or my mileage, nothing has been done about this yet.

Defective battery caused leaking on electrical wiring harness causing burning and damage. Gm mechanic stated common problem with factory batteries. Gm hq will not agree to replace nor compensate for damages or repairs.*nlm

Since purchasing the 2001 chevrolet cavalier, let me tell you, it has truly been like a rock thrown in the water.less than 3000 miles on the car and i had to bring the car in to the dealership and was told that the alternator was defective.the car almost died on me on the road while making a left turn across two lanes of traffic. I was late for work, and i was stuck in the wal-mart parking lot for four hours.i finally got over that.of course, i didn't take out the extended warranty, which if i had known that when i purchased this vehicle that i was getting a lemon, i definitely would have been a true sour puss and bought a ford.recently i have had problems with the fuel, not only does it not get good gas mileage that it should, i was recently told that the fuel pump inside the gas tank failed.$643.77 later, i have my lemon back, after not having a car for work for a full week.the dealerships around my area were sold out of the fuel pumps, when talking to several parts salesman, i was told that they had a run on fuel pumps due to their failures, they sell several per week.huh, imagine that?i have 43,000 miles and my warranty expired at 36,000.what i am suppose to do with my lemon?my wife is scared to drive the vehicle, not only because it has stalled several times, but because it is an accident waiting to happen.hopefully something can be done in the near future to correct this defect.i am asking that the government recalls these vehicles for their defective fuel pumps before it is too late.i know the fuel pump is the same genuine chevrolet part that was in there to begin with.can i depend on this?hopefully, someone will follow up on this and call me so i can really express how i feel.

After 500 milesvehicle started making a loud noise.dealer later replaced alternator andidle arm.vehicle continued grinding noise, and dealer replaced parts of clutch and transmission.also, dealer advised consumer that gmc was aware of problem, but no remedy has been issued. Dealer will not process further repairs.

I have not driven it since, save to get $3,000 estimate and several opinions, that a connecting rod is defective, making the engine valuless, which all concur this is common for this engine, and gm may have known of this problem for years, and done nothing.

My 2001 chevrolet cavalier day time running lights (drl) quit working!. When you put the car into gear, you hear a clicking noise,(maybe a relay switch)?andthe drl icon on the dash flashes about 5 or 6 times along with the headlights and the drl turned off, and the service engine light comes on, when you turn off the car and restart it the service light is off, must reset. Also the right side high beam head light does not work after the drl flash and go out(right side if you are facing the front of the car that is) replaced the right side head light and still have the same problem. Day time running lights are a safety feature for my car and they are not working, the dealer wants $100.00 bucks just to hook my car to a machine to tell me whats wrong with it, after the last trip to the dealer for a check engine light, that cost me $180.00 dollars just to tell my wife to tighten the gas cap when you fill up the car.(nice hu?) im not a happy camper. After doing a little research on the internet i see that cavilers have a drl problems all over the place. Why is there not a safety recall for day time running lights? after all they are a safety feature and do save lives, by making the smaller cars more visable to other drivers. With only one high beam head light working and no drl's my car has become a safety hazard for my wife and daughter, and even my self to drive. Please help by asking gm to recallthis safety problem before some one get s hurt or even killed.

I own a 2001 chevrolet cavalier from new and now have 23,000 miles on it. The problem i have is the decibel level of the turn signal is very hard to hear with the window open or the radio on and find myself forgeting to turn it off after using it to change lanes on the freeway. Because i can not heard the ticking sound. This only confuses other drivers around me. Should be recalled to have a flasher with a higher soundlevel installed. Please look into this.

My 2001 driver education vehicle is a chevrolet cavalier.while driving i noticed that the turn signals when selected will initially work, but after several seconds they stop flashing.i am forced to turn the signal off, and then back on again which usually rectifies the problem for a brief period of time...but they often stop flashing even while waiting at a traffic light, or when proceeding through a turn.

At 30,000 miles i was driving up a hill with half a tank of gas, my caviler died. Towed to the servicce center and the fuel system needed to be replaced. At 45,000 miles the transmission was making noise, a grinding noise, took it in and chevolet put in a brand new transmission. It was out of warrenty so cost me alot! for a new car this is really upsetting. Most recently june, 2003 the transmission was leaking in two places, took it in again and chevolet kept it for 5 days, couldnt diagnoise the leak, assumed it was bolts on the frame of the transmission that needed replacement. Waiting now fo rthe next problem. Very unhappy with this vehicle.

(2) after first starting the car, go to put in drive car keeps hesitating, losing power, then after it warms up it drives fine, (possible fuel pump issues).car begins to stall, and will notstart. All plugs, plug wires, air filter, sensors, and anything to do with emissions has been replaced, still does the same problem to this day. Problem has been ongoing for the last 6 months to a year. Took to local chevrolet dealer several times and did not find an issue.

In december, 2006 i had a new alternator and a new fuel pump put in (895.00). 1/10/07 my ignition module and the fuel pressure regulator went out (695.45). 5/14/07 my ignition coil needed replacing (252.18). November 8, 2007 i needed to replace the ignition switch and valve cover gasket ($500) i'm am tired of repairing. It's got an electrical problem that's causing my ignition stuff to burn out.

The car was bought and the recall has caused other problems. So now the car can no longer be used. Please help me in this thank you.

4/27/2001 -the vehicle stalled onhighway and had to be towed to the dealership (ourisman chevrolet - marlow heights, md).after 7 days of "not knowing" what the problem was they informed me that the fuel pump had gone bad, and was replaced under warranty.i picked the car up on 5/7/01 and within 10 minutes it stalled on the highway again and i had it towed back to the dealership.on 5/8/01, i was informed that a service personnel did a test drive on the vehicle and had to have it towed back in also. Then, on 5/9/01, i am told that after removing the new fuel pump there was a "gel-like substance" on it which they concluded was antifreeze.if this is the case, why was this not seen when the first fuel pump was removed? i am being told that it looks like antifreeze was poured down my gas tank and this is not covered under warranty, and i was given a repair estimate.i was also informed that since this is not a warranted problem that i will have to pay for the rentals that i have had since 4/27/01.to date, they have had my car for 13 days, minus the 10 minutes when i picked it up on 5/7/01.

While driving vehicle approximately 70mph fuel gauge read 1/4 tank of gas.vehicle stalled on highway.vehicle was checked by dealer who determined thatfuel pump was damaged.gauge was reading incorrectly, and vehicle had no gas.dealer advised problem was a part flaw w/gauge.manufacturer will not assist because vehicle was out of warranty.vehicle stalling almost caused consumer to have a collison on the highway.

This car has been a lemon since i bought it.it had 14 miles on it at purchase.before it had 5,000 miles, the strut mounts had to be replaced twice.when it hit close to 60,000 miles the trac off/ check engine lights kept coming on.i went to the dealership and they replaced some component in the fuel system to pacify me but stated it had to do with the gas cap not being on right.not the problem at all because i complained to chevrolet and they replaced this piece yet again (was replaced before) and i drove it out of the dealership to nc and it happened again on the way down there.when the check engine light comes on, shortly after the trac off light comes on and it makes a noise like the transmission is ready to fall out of it.seems the problems start when you're trying to climb a hill which to me has never sounded like a problem with the gas cap!now it's completely out of warrantly, and i refuse to drive it because i'm afraid it's gonna die on me somewhere.hubby drives it locally and he's gotta shift it into second or third to try to keep it from doing that.sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. You can't use the cruise control because it automatically kicks the lights on because the transmission can't stay at an even kiel.when you go to stop, you have to put it in park, shut off the engine, wait a minute, turn it on, put it in second and then go.the trac off light then goes off and sometimes the check engine light goes off too.(50/50 chance of that one).the rpm guage forever revs up to 4-5 which also kicks on the lights.i dont' know.anyone considering purchasing this car better run not walk to a foreign car dealership and buy something trustworthy.i just bought a new car. Toyota corolla s and i'm extremely happy!no more chevrolet cavalier's for me!this car has been a lemon since i bought it.i feel chevrolet and the dealership pacified me itl it was out of warranty and then said, "too bad!".never again will i buy a chevy.

After we almost could of died, i will not get into the vehicle that i am still have to pay for too. I wish someone could help me!(incident date is most recent occurrence) *la

I,was coming from walmart .onto the three lane highway ,i crossed over into the lane then i saw this car ,i hit my brakes ,they froze and my car slid into the finder of the other car ,icould not stopand it sled onto the other lane and stopped.

The rear brakes on the chevrolet cavalier can become unadjusted and when you have to brake quickly, the brakes can lockup and send you into a skid.this happened to me and caused me to have an accident, but i was not aware of the type braking system the car is equipped with so i didn't understand why the car went into a skid until much later, after i almost rear ended someone.personnel at the repair shop explained the braking system to me.

When the weather is bad my brakes do not work correctly until i have driven the car for a while. Last month i could not come to a stop at all and damaged the front endi asked around and found another personwith the same model car that hashad this problem also.

My 4th attempt to have the problem repaired, resulted in the service technician advising me to continue driving the car until the steering gets worse. He claimed the noises are not loud enough, nor frequent enough to be repaired. I say it is very frightening to hear such noises when steering the car, especially at higher speeds (45+). I no longer drive the vehicle, it is parked and will remain so until i am assured that it is safe to drive.

Whenever the steering wheel is turned a "clunk" can be heard and felt. This happened back in about 2003 and still continues to this day.on second complaint, odometer numbers no longer show up properly. Only when pressure is applied to the odometer area do the numbers light up.

Clunking felt in steering when turning.

Constant noiseis coming from front tires. Mechanic stats cause ofnoise is steering rod failure.

I have returned my vehicle three times for a repeat problem with the transmission.i continue to hear, after each repair is tried, grinding in the gears while shifting.the volume on the radio goes down while turning it up.both myself and my passengers have heard creaking in the steering column of my vehicle while turning at low speeds.these are all contiual problems that the dealership can't seem to repair or even notice.

Air/heat fan, steering column ,brakes, engine.*la

A noise was coming from dashboardduring normal operation.dealership examined vehicle three times, and could not correctproblem.on the fourth examination, dealership replacedsteering gear box which corrected the noise problem.

While parked for several hoursvehicle caught on fire and burned to the ground. The manufacturer indicated that the cause of the fire was due friction on a loose power steering pulley.consumer attempted to start engine, but it wouldn't turn over.consumer felt that battery appeared to be dead.manufacturer's inspector said that the fire was caused by the friction from loose pulley on power steering pump.*la

While sitting still, vehicle was rear ended. As a result of collisionpower steering belt flew off. Vehicle had to be towed to dealership.jlg

My car since i bought it(2001 z24 cavalier) has given me problem after problem. Piston rods failing, fuel pump leaking, crankshaft failure, gear box bent causing me to only start car in neutral and can't park on hills. Also...valves have broken numerous times, engine accelerates on its own, fuel gauge was broken, power steering pump leaking, sunroof shattered on me...everything has broken on this brand new car i bought. The dealership will not help me even under warranty...i got a lemon and they want me to keep it. So many problems i cant list them all...most recently i was driving with my 11 month old son and we just got the car out of the shop after 14 days repair on a valve, and the next day we were driving and the engine seized up on me and brakes, and i had to use the emergency brake to stop us from crashing.i had the car towed in and the connected some hose they "forgot" to connect and told me to leave. After we almost could of died, i will not get into the vehicle that i am still have to pay for too. I wish someone could help me!(incident date is most recent occurrence) *la

I keep taking my car back to the dealer for the same problems with my windshield fogging up, especially when it rains and the defogger does not help; i still have problems with a squeling noise in my tires, and my steering column, steering column makes a high pitched sound when in reverse; my drivers window has locked up on me twice; when i first took the car to be checked for my tires they said the manufacture did not install the nuts and bolts correctly and the same with my steering column and they said they were fix but they are not!!!!! ;i am getting sick and tired of having to take my car back to the dealer, it seems to be every 3-4 weeks now; the last time i took the car the kept it all day and said they could not find out what was wrong. Please warn people about these cars i know i am not the only one with these problems; every time i go to the dealership there are at least 2 other people with almost the same problems or has already had the problem i have.

At 35,500 miles front steering started making a popping noise while turning corners.a few days later, the abs light came on and would not reset.car was taken to dealership where the abs master computer was replaced.and steering was lubed.at 37,000 miles popping came back, dealership said that since it was no longer under warranty, they were not responsible for it.also, at 45,000 miles the brakes were shaking, after investigation, mechanic stated that rotors were warped and needed to be replaced.i have had this car for 18 months and am looking at having to replace the rack and pinion system and i only have 55,000 miles on the car now.then today, my airbag warning light has begun to stay on.am going to have to go, once again, to the dealership for fear that airbags won't inflate in collision.*la

- the contact stated that while drivingthe2001 chevrolet cavalierwith 47000 failure mileage at 25 mph he made a left turn and the vehicle began to vibrate.the contact pulled the vehicle onto the side of the road, looked under the vehicle and noticed that there was a puddle of power steering fluid on the ground. The vehicle was towed home, and the contact took the wheel off, filled the vehicle with power steering fluid, and noticed it was leaking from the rack and pinion. The dealer had not been contacted, and the vehicle had not been repaired.

Accident occurred possible result of loss of power steering when making left hand turns. *mr the consumer was knocked unconscious due to the impact of the accident.the only thing the consumer could remember was making a left had turn into a shopping center.witnesses stated that the vehicle was moving slow when the incident occurred.the consumer suggested that this accident may be related torecall#02v286000.the seat belts failed as well. *sc

Whenever the steering wheel is moved there will be a clanking sound in the steering column. Consumerclaims thatsteering is some times loose at any speed. Dealer examined the vehicle, and claimed that a rack and pinion steering column was needed.

While driving approximately 50 mph,the consumer lost control of the steering. Upon inspection, the consumer was told the rack and pinion had failed.

This complaint is similar to gm's recent recall. When making mostly left turns at low speeds i get clicks on the steering wheel. It now is starting on right turns. I purchased the 2001 cavalier with under 36,000 mi . It now has a little over 37,000 mi.

Brand new car, 2 rack and pinion steering put in it within a years time, popping sound coming from front end, maybe coming from transmission.

Rack and pinion unit makes a clunking noise when i turn the steering wheel. Cavaliers in general seem to have a problem with steering units and should be looked into why the problems have been on-going for years. Technical service bulletins from 1992 to today list a history of steering unit problems with this model.

Rack & pinion steering kept going out. This causesvehicle to jerk left. This was second time it has happened. Had the problem repaired previously, but has reappeared again. Did not lose control of vehicle.

The contact owns a 2001 chevrolet cavalier. The contact stated that the dashboard was fractured in six places. He also noticed that the drivers side of the dashboard was caved in. The vehicle was taken to a dealer who offered no assistance. The manufacturer was contacted as well and they advised him that the vehicle was over 10 years old and the failure was just wear and tear. The failure mileage was approximately 70,000. The vin was unavailable.updated 09/08/2011 *ln

Dt:the contact stated that there were two cracks running side by side from the windshield to the passenger side on the dashboard.the contactdiscovered the problem on october 5, 2005. He was concerned about it because there was an air bag on the passenger's side.the cracked area was where the air bag was located.when he took vehicle to dealerto be looked at they said that everything in the dash area was connected to the dashboard.the cracked part of the dashboard was looseningfrom the rest of the dashboard.

The strip of plastic that runs behind the dashboard, closest to the windshield cracked right down the middle. Took it to the dealership and they stated it was probably because of temperature. In order to fix the crack the entire dash would have to be replaced. I use a protectant on my interior and a windsheild shade as well when i leave my car parked. The crack is very unsightly on such a new car and i cannot afford to replace my entire dashboard.

The laminate has come apart from the windshield. This happened several times. The consumer had taken the vehicle to the dealer, however, the problem had not been resolved.*sc

Dash has small crack onpassenger side.

The contact owns a 2001 chevrolet cavalier. The contact stated that the dashboard had three cracks in it which allowed cold air to enter the vehicle.the failure also caused the windshield to become foggy making visibility poor. There was a crack located on the passenger side vent on the dashboard and the other two cracks were located in the middle of the dashboard by the defrost vent which failed to minimize the fog. The manufacturer stated that the repair cost would be covered but later notified the contact that since the case was closed, the cost would not be covered. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 72,000.

The vehicle's brake drums and rotors wore excessively causing the vehicle to vibrate when the brakes were applied.the trunk light remained on although the trunk was shut.the instrument cluster was drawing too much power and caused the battery to become drained.*nlm

The whole frontdash has many cracks in it and appears to be danger since pieces are flying off as i drive.

The dashboard cracked and i still have not been able to get it fixed i have learned since then that this is a common problem for the chevrolet cavaliers and i worry that if i get into an accident that my airbags wont properly deploy because of the cracked dashboard. Now my windshield fogs up causing visibility issues because of the leaks caused by the cracking.

When driving 45 mph left rear door opened.consumer stated that right rear door also opened.consumer will contacteddealer about this issue.

2001 chevrolet cavalier developed problems with the brakes and the engine.***no answer required***. *mrwhile turning the steering wheel the consumer heard grinding/rubbing noises intermittently.the fog lamp went out.the brakes were noisy and would stick when applied.water leaking into the trunk.the vehicle wouldn't start and the vehicle check engine light illuminated.the keyless entry system and alarm stopped working.the transmission not shift into low gear.the daytime running light would not shut off.the hvac blower would not work in the first and second speed.the dealer foun air in the brake line and determined that hte lower control arm bushing was falling out

Frame pulling apart at weld on passengers side, below door. It is causing the windshield to "pop"door and window stick shut and gas door sucked in!

The contact owns a 2001 chevrolet cavalier coupe.the contact stated that the vehicle would not pass inspection due to rusting of the sub frame suspension unit.neither the dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the failure.the vehicle was not repaired.the failure and current mileage was 64,400.

I bought a brand new 2001 cavalier coupe 2 door back in 2001. I have approx. 48,000 miles on my car. Whenever i go to the dealership with a problem concerning my car i say to them, the many noises of the cavalier and many more to come. It's to the point where i'm so tired of going to the dealership because they can never find the problem. This year around january 2005, my brakes started making this awful grinding noise along with vibrating and my steering wheel was making this klunking/poping noise that i could feel in the steering wheel. The steering wheel had me so scared that it was going to fall off that i brought it right away to the dealership. They told me that the grinding noise from the brakes and also the poping noise in the steering wheel was due to the cold weather and not to worry about it. I brought my car back to the dealership, about a week ago, the weather is nice now, because the steering wheel is getting worse and i'm scared that something is going to happen. They assured me that it's fine, my steering wheel won't fall off, that little things will start to happen as your car gets older. They said that they could lube it but that that won't necessarily make the klunking/popping stop. And the brakes, they said once again, they are fine. I'm especially scared about my steering wheel problem and the brake problem also. I'm not understanding why, cause therehave been so many complaints that i've read, the steering wheel or even the break problems haven't been recalled. Are they waiting for a tradgy to happen???

While applying the brakes there is a pulsating through out the brake pedal.please provide additional information dealer is aware of the problem. Ts

3 times in the last 2 years i have had to replace the front driver side hub bearing, 1 time i have had to replace the front passenger side hub bearing and 1 time had to replace the rear passenger side hub bearing. The parts have all been replaced, i am told by the mechanics this is a common problem with this vehicle however i have to pay the costly repair bills several times a year!

Consumer stated that every time turning the vehicle to the right he is hearing clicking noise.took the vehicle to dealership, they said it was the strut mount. Then about a month and half its doing the same thing again, only this time it seems to be on both sides and the noise is a lot louder.*yd

Noise sounded like it was coming from underneath vehicle. The noise was actually coming from the right strut mount. Dealers replaced mount under warranty.i don't know whats going to happen to this cavalier am convinced it is a poorly built automobile and a lemon.gm should replace this vehicle with another vehicle at no charge, but not a cavalier.

Had to replace both front wheel bearings at 50,000 miles.transmission began slipping at 40,000 miles.

The contact owns a 2001 chevrolet cavalier.the contact stated that while traveling 40 mph, a red light on the instrument panel illuminated as the vehicle decelerated to 25 mph.also, the contact mentioned that the track light indicator illuminated and the vehicle jerked violently once the speed started to increase.the failure recurred nearly 12 times.the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic. The technician was unable to diagnose the failure. The vehicle was not repaired.the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure was 85, 610 and the current mileage 85,615.

The car dies when put into reverse, the headlights go dim when putting on the brakes, the windshield wipers are not working properly and are getting stuck half way up the windshield. The car also accelerates even though you are not touching the gas.

The contact applied extreme force to the brakes and shifted into neutral gear in order to slow down. The vehicle continued to lunge forward every time the vehicle came to a stop. The failure occurred three times. The dealer was not notified. The failure was not diagnoses or repaired. The failure and current mileages were 209,000.

While driving all warning indicator lights illuminated. Thiscaused vehicle to stall.dealer replaced the body control module twice, but the problem still occurred.

Vehicle (engine?) will make a rattling noise around 1000-1900 rpm either when accelerating at that rpm, or decelerating at that rpm.dealer cannot find problem after 2 visits.states it's not loud enough and should be ignored.

The accelerator stuck, which caused the vehicle to accelerate.

While driving, the vehicle stalled.the cause was not determined.the vehicle was taken in four times.the spark plug wires were replaced.the vehicle stalled while inmotion then would restart.the problem could not be duplicated on one occasion.the passenger window was clicking, and the regulator in the front door window was replaced. *sc

While driving 35mph passenger's side window exploded.window was closed and nothing hit it.

Three years ago, the motor went on the driver's side window of my 2001 chevy cavalier.three months ago, the motor (which was replaced by the dealership at a cost of $400 after the first incident) went again. At the same time the window went, the a/c compression system died also.i've been quoted a cost of $800 to repair both, this is unacceptable craftmanship and i will never by a chevrolet again.

Consumer was driving about 35 mph withsun roof up, and it suddenly shattered. Glass was all over . Dealer said that it was normal to happen, and cause could have been a rock on the road.
