The contact owns a 2016 chevrolet camaro. While driving approximately 30 mph, the front wheels shook uncontrollably. The contact lost control of the vehicle as it spun around twice and crashed into a metal divider. None of the frontal air bags deployed. There were no warning indicators illuminated. There were no injuries and a police report was not filed. The vehicle was towed to the contact's residence. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic for diagnostic testing. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 50,000.

Both passenger and driver side airbags deployed while driving straight down the center lane of an empty, 3-lane road, with a speed limit of 40. There was no impact to have caused them to deploy. There is no damage to the vehicle body, tires, etc.

Passenger air bag light comes on and off.

During acceleration and deceleration, the 8-speed automatic transmissions seems to jump as if it is missing gears. This has been an ongoing issue for some months. The vehicle was purchased brand new in 2016 with only 12 miles. Diagnostic testing has been performed and nothing has been found. However, this issue still persists.also, the backup camera, radio, and entire mylink system went out. After diagnostics, it was confirmed that the hmi module was bad--the car was not 3 years old at the time. Unfortunately, this is a $1000 dealership repair ticket. Gm has stated that there is nothing they can do. Also, others in the dealership as well as outside licensed repair shops said they had the seen the same issue with the camaro.

Around 3/2/2021 i received a dash warning light for the electronic parking brake indicating some form of malfunction.the electronic parking brake began to stay on once set and when i would accelerate a bit, it would release.thereafter the rear brakes and calipers completely locked up while sitting in my garage and would not move.i had to have it towed out of my garage and to a chevrolet dealership for repair.the chevrolet dealer repaired it after approximately one week or more and five or six days later the indicator light returned stating electronic parking brake malfunction so i took it back to the chevrolet dealership and they repaired again.i had also contacted the dealership i purchased from in tennessee and made them aware of the problem and they agreed to pay for the repair because my warranty did not cover this repair because it happened to be from prior damage to the car before i purchased it.after speaking in great detail with the chevrolet dealer, it was explained to me that this is beyond repair at this point if i were to have any further issues with this and strongly recommended having this replaced and that it is currently unsafe considering this could happen again including while i am driving and could result in to an accident and possible injury to myself and others.i then hired an attorney to dispute this with the dealership i purchased from and they on many occasions declined any compensation for this.it is very pricy and the salesperson had told me at one point the car tire had had a blowout and defected a wiring issue with the electronic parking brake and that the switch had been replaced and that the side indicator lights were not working off and on.he assured me that this had been fixed, meaning it only needed a switch.the whole body wiring harness was very badly effected and there are currently seventeen wires that are not secure in which control a lot of the car.i did also retrieve the service records.

When driving at highway speed the computer generates a message: reduced performance, reduce clutch use. When this happens the power of the engine is reduced to 1/3 or to two cylinders, and the speedometer goes flying all around, varying by about 25 mph up and down. We have taken the car four times to the chevrolet dealership and had the clutch and flywheel replaced, tightened, etc., and they have reprogrammed several things in computer. Two separate cases have been filed with gm and to this point they have not fixed the problem. The transmission is still under warranty, but they say its not that. This creates an extremely dangerous driving situation.

Power steering went out randomly while driving. More often at lower speeds. Battery would drain while at stoplights. Car has not been driven hard. Less than 36000 miles. Dealer states failure of power steering gear assembly. 2017 model camaro had recall for similar power steering failure. Dealer does not recognize this as pertinent and thus will not cover expensive repair.

2016 camaro 2ss. Starting in early oct. Vehicle was parked in the driveway and would not start. Had vehicle towed to dealership. Got vehicle back late oct. And 5 miles down the highway the vehicle lost all power. Called for a tow back to dealership. Received vehicle late dec. Drove to work and back, all is good next day .. Drove to the bank and pulled up into my driveway .. Activated e brake and reached for the power button .. The vehicle mysteriously shut itself off. I pushed the clutch in and pushed the start button .. Nothing no power. To be honest .. Seems very dangerous to be driving this vehicle around not know when the vehicle will lose all its power. Not a good feeling. Been lucky except for the highway shut down .. That was scary! vehicles flying by you over 65 miles an hour .. Rocking the vehicle as every vehicle and truck passed by ..

Radio intermittent turn off.

The cars push button start is not workimg to start the car, intermittant.the car shuts off in traffic.the cars negitive battery cable, ignition switch, were repaired but the car s hesitant to start again.the engine feels like it is going to die again whike driving.the car is hesitant on acceleration. The car was deemed a lemon november 2017 for several engine, safty, and suspension issues but general motors is keeping this case in appealsdue to non-compliance to replace the unsafe car awarded by the arbitrator.

'incident #1: on june 15, 2018, after making my normal commute to and from work, i arrived home. Later that evening, when i tried to start my car, i was not able to start it at all. I was unable to figure out what the issue was and had to have it towed back to the dealership. It turned out that the issue was the starter - an issue that should definitely not need to be of concern to a new car owner. While i was provided with a loaner car, i was highly inconvenienced during my father's day weekend.'incident #2: while driving car to an appointment on thursday, june 21, 2018, the gas pedal got stuck and i could not stop the car. I repeatedly tried to apply brakes but this did not work. To avoid crashing, risking my safety and the safety of the other road users, i had to make a quick decision. This decision was for me to kick the gas pedal to break it. In order to drive the car to a safe location, i literally had to use an umbrella in place of the gas pedal to give power to the car.

2016 camaro 2lt rs would not start 11.23.2017. After checking the battery compartment, water was found below the trunk deck lid.dried the area out and was able to jump start vehicle.drove 29 miles and as i neared my destination, you could smell smoke.opened up the trunk and found smoke plus melted and singed fuses that potentially could have caught fire.vehicle towed to capital auto group 11.24.17.advised dealer that we would escalate due to safety concerns, but authorized repairs.dealership later said they reviewed with gm and it did not qualify for gm customer goodwill program.they repaired the wiring and then concluded that the water leak was caused by a defective trunk seal.repairs were completed 12.26.2017.asked the manager to return our call, which never happened.on 1.30.2018, we called gm and opened a case with them.gm advised that the dealership did not follow protocol and gm has no record of the dealership notifying them the vehicle fuses were melted.on 3.7.2018, checked status of claim with gm and found that they closed the case.they stated that when they called the dealership, they were told the repairs had been completed, so no further investigation would was needed.i asked more than once if they were not concerned with vehicle safety and cars potentially catching fire.they stated that the repairs had been completed and they were not investigating further, even though capitol auto group did not follow gm protocol on a safety issue.i even stated 'so you are going to wait for vehicles to catch fire before this is a safety concern for gm' and received the same response.i let them know that a claim would be filed with nhtsa so this could be investigated.vehicle was purchased 01.19.16 and was less than two years old when this occurred.customer retained melted fuses, photos dealership provided and the repair receipts.

When it rains heavy water is getting into the trunk of the car, where the wheel well is there is a fuse box and that's where the water sits. The electrical harness of the car had to be replaced the cords were burnt and smoke in the cabin of the car this happenedlast year 2018 now it has happened again this year 2019

Takata recall ever since i purchased my car june 8 2018 the car has been. Nothing but problems first the starter went out on me it went in the shop for repairs then few days later i was driving with my family in traffic when the gas pedal got stuck to the floor almost causing me to have an accident

I have contacted general motors this vehicle started these problems 1 month after i purchased it when i purchased it ,it only had 95 miles on it, in the mean time due to general motors closing the case and not willing to fix the issue i have contacted the better business bureau , i have also contacted nbc news " call 12 for action" since i have purchased this vehicle in november of 2016 this vehicle has been stalling in the in traffic, the computers will go blank and when they come back on they have to reboot, as i mentioned i have taken this vehicle in 8 different times and nobody can fix the issue, i even requested a field mechanic whichgeneral motors set up after the bbb contacted them. I took my vehicle in on june 12th and cannot get anyone to return my call the issues are still happening nbc news contacted me yesterday and asked if i had contacted the nhtsa due to this safety issue nbc news " call 12 for action" gave me this website said that they could not contact you until i had filed a complaint. Since i purchased this vehicle i have spoken with several different people at general motors trying to get this vehicle fixed and have been getting the runaround until the bbb has got involved. These issues have taken place in the middle of traffic it has happened when just sitting in a parking lot i would be at a stop light and go to acculturate when the light turned green and it would automatically stop and the computers in the vehicle would black out. Chevrolet has tried 8 different times to fix this problem and has been unsuccessful every time. General motors even had me take it to a different dealership they cant seem to find the safety issue with this vehicle.

Car is shutting off while driving on roadways.car not shutting off when pushing the ignition button.car not starting at home or while in the community.all of this leaving me stranded for periods of time or holding up traffic.no codes being thrown to dash which leads me to believe something is wrong with the computer system. The chassis bounces and studders as if somthing is about to ceese up and the drive shaft clumks. Stabilitrak light has been fixed several times, traction control comes on as well. Purchased 2016 chevrolet camaro on 6/18/2016 few days after the engine was running very rough, grinding noise, transmission shifting hard, the check engine light illuminated and speed reduced to 5 mph showed on display. This has been going on since then, i brought to dealer on 7/1/2016 and the service mechanic took back to check codes and informed me that numerous error codes were detected and told me to go ahead and take vehicle home because it was a holiday weekend and to return on tuesday 7/5/2016 to be inspected for repair.

Engine crankshaft began coming apart without warning, purchased 2016 ss, drove it 6mo and 7,000mi, no warning lights or signs, just excessive vibration while coasting on the freeway.engine is currently being "replaced", consumers are not being notified of major lt1 engine failures....no word from gm financial about the car's status after 30 days.....now by ca law a lemon......

When i was driving on the highway going 65mph, what seems to be the transmission, kept stalling and wouldn't run any faster as i tried switching lanes. Almost hit the semi truck in front of me because my car wouldnt advance any faster. My vehicle only has 66,000 miles it's a 2016 camaro v6 and already having transmission problems. It also doesn't go in reverse. Took it to the dealership and they didn't want to help me out because the warranty doesn't cover it anymore 60,000 being the end of it when mine was only 6,000 over.

I have almost had an accident twice based on the transmission not shifting properly and the car loosing traction between 1st and 2nd gear. Chevy has flushed the transmission 3 times with no change.3 weeks ago the engine failed while i was trying to accelerate on a highway.this causeda truck to almost ram the back of my car and another car almost hit me as i tried to get to the side of the highway.i was able to drive it to the dealer. Auto nation chevrolet on lee vista blvd, orl. Florida.they determined that it was a catastrophic engine failure. The engine has been taken apart into many pieces and much of it is sitting on the dealership shop floor.the mechanic said the engine failure was due to a defective valve casing and a defective spring..damaging the camshaft.all valves and springs and camshaft would need to be replaced.chevy has declined my request for a new engine..they said that decision is up to the dealership service manager.i spoke to him...he said that the cost to replace the engine must be within a few hundred dollars vs rebuilding the engine for him to authorize that the engine be replaced.. This is now 3 weeks in duration with no car, which cost me close to $50,000 and almost has caused me to be in 3 accidents.i am appealing for your intervention.

Issue with engine and transmission system. I have received an diagnostic alert from onstar in reference to this problem. The first time took vehicle to shop i was told that it was a glitch in the system. That was approximately 4 months ago. I received another alert from onstar approximately 2 weeks ago took vehicle to dealership ran a diagnostics code came back that it was something with the air flow system so they replaced the part. Repairs were done almost two weeks ago and i received the same alert from onstar yesterday in reference to engine and transmission alert. My vehicle was under warranty the first two incidence but no longer under warranty. When i received the alert from onstar i can not use remote start to crank up vehicle. The first time car was in motion when alert was noticed the second and third time was stationary.

Car jerking when shifting at any gear, seems like transmission going out. When speeding it feels like shaking. Havent had the car a whole year yet smh.... Check engine light on but the chevrolet engineers could not determine the meaning of the code. They said that "for the 2015 & 2016, they placed a new code which could mean a leak in between the engine and exhaust. They kept my car for more than a week but could not determine what's going on and nobody, including the corporate engineers could fix it. I demanded a vehicle replacement bec. It's just a 2000 mile car and i only had it since may2016. But gm corporate kept their eyes shut to my plight and just told me to take home my car. They said that theu would call me if they find out the meaning of the code.

It is as if there is no gasoline in it. They indicated to me it is a problem with the gasoline tail of the gasoline bomb. There is a recall but it is not reported. Vehiculo have only 31,600 miles.

The windshield fogs up and drips with air on the feet.no way to clear the increasing fog unless you turn the air-conditioning off and increase the heat there for on the 90+ hot and muggy day you are left with heat exhaustion or pulling over on the side of the roadways which is never safe. When it rains good luck deciding if you want to turn the window defoggers on and cause condensation or open the windows in the rain to get wet which makes the windows steam up completely or last resort is to turn the heat up on the defrosters and heat up the whole car. . or again, pull over to the side of the road indefinitely or do not drive your car in 80% of the south's weather conditions.really sad that gm and the chevrolet dealerships fix to this issue is to say "welcome to the south" and laugh. This happens when its muggy out, raining, cool and wet, early morning or late evening.it only gets worse with the wipers, only gets better with higher heat for extended periods of time.so in essence most of that or those days.

New vehicle emissions fuel system.emission error code for solenoid developed when vehicle was very new.dealer has had the vehicle 4 x's and are unable to repair the error code.many explanations however vehicle will not be able to pass state emissions inspection in the future. Vehicle will not be able to be registered in the state or any other state.dealer is indifferent about this problem??

I was driving in the highway and thank god there was traffic when i lost power in steering wheel and then my car.. I turn my car.. When i was in the parking lot on my job i lost power again. I call the dealer to get my car fix.chevy send a letter back on september of 2020 for people to get there steering fix they also told me that letter i got it wasn't a recall that was a complement of chevy to fix it..

My transmission jerks and rumbles, as if i am driving over rumble strops.it jerks when i put it into gear.it jerks and rumbles when i accelerate and decelerate.when i go from park to drive it jerks forward and actually move forward a few feet without stepping on the gas.and the same when i am stopped waiting for a light, it feels like i was hit from behind.its a very rough and hard jerk forward.the transmission jerks changing gears in drive and while driving, even in reverse. Its a horrible scary rumble jerking.you never know when it will just take off by itself.the incidents happen on all driving conditions, city streets, highway, turning, slowing down, coasting. Especially turning it jerks in the middle of a turn. I have been experiencing this for over a year.i brought to the dealer and they stated they could not duplicate my concerns, but it did it when i drove off and brought it to their attention at that time. This is a continuous event for the past two or so years.

I bought my car in sept. 2016 after the first couple of months at random times the transmission makes a boom sound when slowing down from speeds over 55 mph or during acceleration from stop and go rush hour traffic it's as if the transmission has to catch up with the accelerator. I get monthly diagnostics and nothing shows up as an issue.

When driving slow, i can feel the car hesitate to switch gears then all sudden it jumps or nudges into second gear. It's like the rpms revs up then throws itself into second gear. Also when in sport mode, the vehicles gear/transmission becomes more apparent of vibration or struggles with the transmission and changing gears. When also putting car in reverse u can feel the car jump into gear before switching the gears. It's an abrupt transition.

Automatic 8 speed transmission shudders on light acceleration between 1300-1700rpm. This issue can be replicated and is especially noticeable when cruising up a slight incline at around 1500rpm. Chevrolet attempted a transmission fluid flush for me, and even a torque converter replacement for some other people, but the issue returns.

Vehicle was two months old with approximately 1,800 miles and the rear differential began having gear whine. Dealer told me to drive it more and see what happens. Gear whine got louder and posi unit clutches began chattering. This resulted in the rear differential being replaced at 6,000 miles. The replacement differential lasted about 2,000 miles and began chattering, so another differential was installed in the vehicle. So with 8,000 miles, i've had two differentials replaced due to internal problems.the noise was heard when temps got down in the 50's and turning left.

On fri, 26 august 2016, at a stop, my car wouldn't go into any gear (it is a 6 speed manual). I almost got hit. A cop & a good samaritan stopped & forced the gear in 1st as dealership & gm weren't helpful over the phone. I immediately drove to flow. They kept the car for a week & said they did a full check & everything was okay. Gm was contacted but nothing was done to fix it. On sat, 24 september at night in a parking garage, i came to a complete stop and when i went to put my car into first gear to park, again it would not go into gear. I recorded a video of my friend having to force it into gear as the good samaritan did weeks before. Anyone who views the video can see how the car won't go in gear & can hear the noise it makes (as it did the in the august scenario).i brought the vehicle in that mon. Car was kept for a week. They contacted gm & gm said the same thing had been happening to other 2016 camaros & the solution was to flush out or "bleed" some fluid in the clutch. I'm not a mechanic but i knew this wouldn't work. This is obviously a mechanical problem. I was also suspicious. Just 3 weeks before, gm supposedly had no solutions & acted like my car was the only one doing this. Fri , 30 sept, car was returned. On sat morning 1 oct, the same issue happened at a drive thru & 2 employees had to push me in the parking lot. New manager says they'll drive the car to see if it happens to them & also can try "one more thing".the car has an obvious manufacter defect that is a safety hazard.i called gm for assistance & they atttempted to contact flow for more info & after several minutes ,returned & said that they had not been transferred to service & was told flow service was"too busy" to talk because they were getting off in an hour. The 8 speed automatic transmission has a shutter at low engine rpm between 1200 to 1500 rpm.the shutter will occur in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th gear when engine rpm is 1200 to 1500.the vehicle has 10,000 miles on it. This happens on open roads in all conditions and at various speeds + gear.

Vibration at speeds of 45 - 50 mph. Vibration only occurs when vehicle is at operating temperature. If the vehicle is cold, the vibration is not present.

The windshield fogs up and drips with air on the feet.no way to clear the increasing fog unless you turn the air-conditioning off and increase the heat there for on the 90+ hot and muggy day you are left with heat exhaustion or pulling over on the side of the roadways which is never safe. When it rains good luck deciding if you want to turn the window defoggers on and cause condensation or open the windows in the rain to get wet which makes the windows steam up completely or last resort is to turn the heat up on the defrosters and heat up the whole car. . or again, pull over to the side of the road indefinitely or do not drive your car in 80% of the south's weather conditions.really sad that gm and the chevrolet dealerships fix to this issue is to say "welcome to the south" and laugh. This happens when its muggy out, raining, cool and wet, early morning or late evening.it only gets worse with the wipers, only gets better with higher heat for extended periods of time.so in essence most of that or those days.

Purchased car with 20908 miles on 12/18/19. Noticed engine rpms fluctuating about 200 rpms when at steady cruising speed 2nd day of owning car. 3rd day noticed bad shudder when in v4 mode along with rpm fluctuation.

During acceleration and deceleration, the 8-speed automatic transmissions seems to jump as if it is missing gears. This has been an ongoing issue for some months. The vehicle was purchased brand new in 2016 with only 12 miles. Diagnostic testing has been performed and nothing has been found. However, this issue still persists.also, the backup camera, radio, and entire mylink system went out. After diagnostics, it was confirmed that the hmi module was bad--the car was not 3 years old at the time. Unfortunately, this is a $1000 dealership repair ticket. Gm has stated that there is nothing they can do. Also, others in the dealership as well as outside licensed repair shops said they had the seen the same issue with the camaro.

'incident #1: on june 15, 2018, after making my normal commute to and from work, i arrived home. Later that evening, when i tried to start my car, i was not able to start it at all. I was unable to figure out what the issue was and had to have it towed back to the dealership. It turned out that the issue was the starter - an issue that should definitely not need to be of concern to a new car owner. While i was provided with a loaner car, i was highly inconvenienced during my father's day weekend.'incident #2: while driving car to an appointment on thursday, june 21, 2018, the gas pedal got stuck and i could not stop the car. I repeatedly tried to apply brakes but this did not work. To avoid crashing, risking my safety and the safety of the other road users, i had to make a quick decision. This decision was for me to kick the gas pedal to break it. In order to drive the car to a safe location, i literally had to use an umbrella in place of the gas pedal to give power to the car.

I was at a red light waiting to make a turn and once the green light came on i stepped on the gas. I was about to stop at the next red light and my brakes wouldn't work. A metal noise can be heard as i stepped on the brake. The closer i got i kept stepping all the way down the brake pedal. The "brake assist" light came on. I pulled over and gave the brakes a few pumps and still wouldn't break until i shut the car and turned back on. I released the handle break on and off. Also stepped on the brakes and everything went back to normal. Now i don't feel comfortable driving it till monday when i call the dealer.

The failure mileage was approximately 33,000. *consumer stated loehman blasius was able to call engineers at chevrolet corporate for help said snow tires were causing the issue and gave the car back. Swapped snow tires for factory as advised and issue with brakes was still happening. Because of the issue i have been having with the brakes and because it only happens in rainy conditions. It makes it very difficult to schedule on appointment with the dealership that i purchased the vehicle from when i also need a loaner and work the hours they are open. Updated 10/22/18

While pulling through a fast food drive-thru, i applied the brakes and "brake assist" illuminated on the dashboard. This resulted in reduced braking with the abs module pulsating. Once at a complete a stop the brakes were still applied although my foot was not pressing the brakes. Giving the vehicle gas let the brakes release. The dealership said they could not duplicate the problem. It happened again and it was driven directly to the dealership with the light on. I have been without my vehicle for weeks and i'm being told it will be another 60-90days before gm has a new program to fix the issue.

When driving vehicle and making a left turn, there is a loud sound what sounds like rubbing coming from rear tires. Took it in for an oil change and tire rotation in which the mechanic couldn't find an issue. Three days later i received a notification on my screen stating to service the parking break.

Around 3/2/2021 i received a dash warning light for the electronic parking brake indicating some form of malfunction.the electronic parking brake began to stay on once set and when i would accelerate a bit, it would release.thereafter the rear brakes and calipers completely locked up while sitting in my garage and would not move.i had to have it towed out of my garage and to a chevrolet dealership for repair.the chevrolet dealer repaired it after approximately one week or more and five or six days later the indicator light returned stating electronic parking brake malfunction so i took it back to the chevrolet dealership and they repaired again.i had also contacted the dealership i purchased from in tennessee and made them aware of the problem and they agreed to pay for the repair because my warranty did not cover this repair because it happened to be from prior damage to the car before i purchased it.after speaking in great detail with the chevrolet dealer, it was explained to me that this is beyond repair at this point if i were to have any further issues with this and strongly recommended having this replaced and that it is currently unsafe considering this could happen again including while i am driving and could result in to an accident and possible injury to myself and others.i then hired an attorney to dispute this with the dealership i purchased from and they on many occasions declined any compensation for this.it is very pricy and the salesperson had told me at one point the car tire had had a blowout and defected a wiring issue with the electronic parking brake and that the switch had been replaced and that the side indicator lights were not working off and on.he assured me that this had been fixed, meaning it only needed a switch.the whole body wiring harness was very badly effected and there are currently seventeen wires that are not secure in which control a lot of the car.i did also retrieve the service records.

The breaks failed on my 2016 camaro. Lost all power to breaks on city street they pulsed and vibrated on dry pavement but had no grip and had to stop by using transmission. I have reported multiple problems with my car to the dealership. The first was with my monitor it would work intermittently. The phone, the radio, at times it wouldn't even turn on. I was told that i had to bring it in when my car was acting up. Finally it acted up brought it in and showed them immediately but they had to keep my car for a month to recreate the problem before agreeing to fix it. Monitor finally replaced.now my car intermittently loses its power steering. The first incident happened multiple times i finally snapped the picture on march 1st. Took car in and was told an update needed to be run and that it would never happen again. Wrong may 30th power steering went out during a downpour of rain and remained out for two days before it recovered. Took to the dealer was there 1 1/2 hours and was told they couldn't find anything wrong. Was told i need to come back when it's happening. I have pictures showing the car says service is needed but yet when i take the car in nothing's wrong. When i called i was told the earliest appointment was on monday which is the day i brought my car in. How many times do i have to be inconvenienced before my car is fixed? this car is a lemon. The monitor was replaced and the car wasn't even a year old. The power steering is getting worse each time and is going out for longer periods of time. This has happened both times when my car has been in motion on city streets and has happened both going straight and has gone out while i was turning. Coming from behind the rear seat are two distinct sounds - one is a cracking/buzzing that is not an audio noise. It is a loose panel, or a result of the rear panel rubbing up against the rear window. The second sound is a quiet and consistent sound coming from inside the trunk. It can be heard if going over 20 mph and does not stop. I have had a dealer look at this issue 4 times, and they cannot resolve it.

On fri, 26 august 2016, at a stop, my car wouldn't go into any gear (it is a 6 speed manual). I almost got hit. A cop & a good samaritan stopped & forced the gear in 1st as dealership & gm weren't helpful over the phone. I immediately drove to flow. They kept the car for a week & said they did a full check & everything was okay. Gm was contacted but nothing was done to fix it. On sat, 24 september at night in a parking garage, i came to a complete stop and when i went to put my car into first gear to park, again it would not go into gear. I recorded a video of my friend having to force it into gear as the good samaritan did weeks before. Anyone who views the video can see how the car won't go in gear & can hear the noise it makes (as it did the in the august scenario).i brought the vehicle in that mon. Car was kept for a week. Ever since the first day i took delivery ofy brand new camaro the windshield fogs up excessively when run into the ac no matter how it's set. I've had it back at the dealer numerous times including once where they performed an on the fly removal of a piece of foam to supposedly help seal the dash to windshield mode actuator door which didn't fix it. Windshield was removed to perform this and it cracked had to get a new windshield installed overall this is not only an annoyance but a safety hazzard i can't drive it in the summer without sweating inside the cabin because with the ac on and day vents only it acts as if there is an ice chest and a turbo fan blasting ice cold air on the windshield which in conjunction with the humidity just plasters the windshield with fog on the outside of the windshield. Fog treatment sprays don't work. Nothing has. Gm doesn't even try to solve it. My wife won't drove the car due to the vision being impeded. Happens when sitting still or driving.

My car mysteriously caught on fire.the fire department rule it as a electrical error.

Interior door panel rattle. When listening to the radio with mild bass, the door sounds like has marbles inside of it. Dealer stated the bass level is too high on my first attempt to have it repaired. Second attempt to repair the volume was quarter of the way up and you could here it. Dealer found a tsb on the issue and had to order special flocking tape for the door panels.i'm unsure if this has fixed the problem or not at this point because the vehicle is still at the dealer for other repairs.

At times when make a left turn, there's a knocking noise that sounds like it's coming from the rear right underside by the tire or from in the trunk.it's not consistent but it does it everyday.

Trunk leaks with electrical components located in the base of the trunk where a spare tire would be located.water pools in this area and exposes the fuse box, amplifier and other electrical components to water. This posses a malfunction and potential fire hazard when the fuse panel shortens out.due to the half-moon shape of the top of the trunk where the back window meets water to pools and then seeps under the trunk weatherstripping and ultimately into the trunk.

When sunlight is reflected off the silver/chrome-colored instrument cluster trim, it is focused intensely into into my eyes making it difficult to drive the vehicle safely. This occurs while parked, stationary, or driving on a city street or a highway. While turning, it may occur intermittently and suddenly depending on if the sun strikes it directly. It may also happen when driving in reverse while i use the backup camera.

I have taken this vehicle to chevrolet dealerships approx. 8 different times due to malfunction of this vehicle. I have contacted general motors this vehicle started these problems 1 month after i purchased it when i purchased it ,it only had 95 miles on it, in the mean time due to general motors closing the case and not willing to fix the issue i have contacted the better business bureau , i have also contacted nbc news " call 12 for action" since i have purchased this vehicle in november of 2016 this vehicle has been stalling in the in traffic, the computers will go blank and when they come back on they have to reboot, as i mentioned i have taken this vehicle in 8 different times and nobody can fix the issue, i even requested a field mechanic whichgeneral motors set up after the bbb contacted them. I took my vehicle in on june 12th and cannot get anyone to return my call the issues are still happening nbc news contacted me yesterday and asked if i had contacted the nhtsa due to this safety issue nbc news " call 12 for action" gave me this website said that they could not contact you until i had filed a complaint. I was unable to figure out what the issue was and had to have it towed back to the dealership. It turned out that the issue was the starter - an issue that should definitely not need to be of concern to a new car owner. While i was provided with a loaner car, i was highly inconvenienced during my father's day weekend.'incident #2: while driving car to an appointment on thursday, june 21, 2018, the gas pedal got stuck and i could not stop the car. I repeatedly tried to apply brakes but this did not work. To avoid crashing, risking my safety and the safety of the other road users, i had to make a quick decision. This decision was for me to kick the gas pedal to break it. In order to drive the car to a safe location, i literally had to use an umbrella in place of the gas pedal to give power to the car.

There is an thick and stiff electrical cable that loops very low in front of the top of the clutch pedal.the top of my foot easily catches on this cable with my heel fully on floor of the vehicle.this prevented me from fully compressing the clutch causing my car to stall in cross traffic.

Constantly get a shudder at low rpm's 30-50mph- like the car does not know what gear it wants to be in. Also recieve p0122 code of throttle after fast acceleration. Taking this to performance engine place to diagnose

Front windshield fogging up. Is specially scary when the sun is in your face and the windshield is foggy makes the effect 10 times worse to the point i cant see. Happens during humid and warm days so pretty much everyone in the south is doomed.

The windshield fogs up and drips with air on the feet.no way to clear the increasing fog unless you turn the air-conditioning off and increase the heat there for on the 90+ hot and muggy day you are left with heat exhaustion or pulling over on the side of the roadways which is never safe. When it rains good luck deciding if you want to turn the window defoggers on and cause condensation or open the windows in the rain to get wet which makes the windows steam up completely or last resort is to turn the heat up on the defrosters and heat up the whole car. . or again, pull over to the side of the road indefinitely or do not drive your car in 80% of the south's weather conditions.really sad that gm and the chevrolet dealerships fix to this issue is to say "welcome to the south" and laugh. This happens when its muggy out, raining, cool and wet, early morning or late evening.it only gets worse with the wipers, only gets better with higher heat for extended periods of time.so in essence most of that or those days.

There is a continued behavior of the front window fogging up, nearly completely obstructing my ability to see out of the front of the car. This is an absolute safety concern that needs to be addressed. It happens frequently in the early mornings in high humidity situations.

Defective hvac system: excessive moisture on outside windshield, due to hvac blowing ac cold air onto windshield inside the vehicle while running ac unit. Every time i use my ac the windshield fogs up with excessive moisture on the outside of the windshield and it a life threatening problem, as you have to run the wipers to clear the windshield for any visibility fogging issues. Gm knows about this problem and they have yet to come up with a fix, as all 2016-2018 chevrolet camaro's have the same problem and yet they still sell them and are not interested in fixing this life threatening issue! guess gm is waiting for their camaro customers to get killed first before they act to fix this ongoing problem.

Windshield fogs up and blocks visibility tremendously (on a vehicle with low visible already, it is very dangerous). This is caused by cold air leaking from the windshield defroster vent, and happens regardless of defroster setting. It becomes a problem on hot and humid days and when it rains, rendering the ac useless if you want to see out of the windshield. Further, turning the ac off does not decrease the fogging, nor does driving the car or sitting stationary. The only ways to keep it at bay are to run hot air (horribly uncomfortable on hot/humid days) or to constantly run the wipers on a high speed. Aside from those, running cold air conditioning (windshield defroster off) causes a dangerous amount of fogging in the aforementioned conditions.

Ever since the first day i took delivery ofy brand new camaro the windshield fogs up excessively when run into the ac no matter how it's set. I've had it back at the dealer numerous times including once where they performed an on the fly removal of a piece of foam to supposedly help seal the dash to windshield mode actuator door which didn't fix it. Windshield was removed to perform this and it cracked had to get a new windshield installed overall this is not only an annoyance but a safety hazzard i can't drive it in the summer without sweating inside the cabin because with the ac on and day vents only it acts as if there is an ice chest and a turbo fan blasting ice cold air on the windshield which in conjunction with the humidity just plasters the windshield with fog on the outside of the windshield. Fog treatment sprays don't work. Nothing has. Gm doesn't even try to solve it. My wife won't drove the car due to the vision being impeded. Happens when sitting still or driving.

I was sitting in my garage when i heard a loud nose when i went into the garage to check and see what was the noise was about, that's when i noticed that the car window was shattered so i looked to see from what and i could not find anything in around or on the car nothing was above the care that could have fallen on the car the window just shattered on its own, i have also been hearing some rattling nose when i was driving that comes and goes in the back panel.

The contact owns a 2016 chevrolet camaro. While driving approximately 45 mph, the sun roof exploded and the glass shattered. There were no injuries. The vehicle was taken to tipotex chevrolet (1600 n. Expressway 77/83, brownsville, tx 78521), but the cause of the failure was not diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 9,800.

Cast fissure on inside of 20" rs wheel barrel

I have a defective wheel, it cracked. There was no impact, i have pictures and videos of the wheel spinning on a balancer to prove this. This is a problem that has become more common since wheel manufacturing went to china. Gm is weaseling out of the warranty, no big deal. The danger is that i was informed that gm welds low pressure cast wheels to fulfill warranty claims. Which the dealership had done to this wheel without my knowledge, again no big deal i already replaced the wheel and certainly wouldn't put that wheel back on my car. In my professional opinion this is dangerous. Especially on a heavy car that is made to run on a track at 150 mph plus. A crack is caused by impurities in the alloy. If the alloy has impurities they usually aren't isolated to one specific spot. This crack actually grew from the lip into the barrel of the wheel in a couple days time, another way you can tell it wasn't caused by impact and that the impurities are most likely in several parts of the wheel. I really don't care about the warranty issue, i just don't want to hear about someone being killed from an issue like this because i neglected to report it. If you want that wheel for inspection or testing i can send it to you. There was no damage to my vehicle. I'm only able to send one photo. I have more and a video.

I was driving during rush hour at 70mph when my axle shaft abruptly disconnected from the car. It was shaking violently, and i was unable to accelerate. I was only able to coast through three lanes of traffic to get the car off the road. I almost died when the person behind me almost drove through me when the shaft disconnected and the car suddenly slowed without the brake lights going off.

The contact lost control of the vehicle as it spun around twice and crashed into a metal divider. None of the frontal air bags deployed. There were no warning indicators illuminated. There were no injuries and a police report was not filed. The vehicle was towed to the contact's residence. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic for diagnostic testing. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 50,000.
