The brake pedal is hard when applied. A delay is experienced.
While traveling about 15-20mph and after the brakes are depressed there is an initial response,butvehicle continues to go forward. No accidents or injuries have occurred.

When brakes are applied they resist.when vehicle goes over a bump the brake releases and keeps going. The dealer has not been able to duplicate the problem.

When driving along, came to a stop light, started braking and suddenly there was a complete loss of brakes. Road conditions wet, but not slippery. Took vehicle in for repairs to two different dealers and they could not find anything wrong with the brakes. Brake failure caused vehicle to run into the back of a another vehicle.
While applyingbrakes vehicle does not respond to a complete stop, vehicle skids forward.when approaching a traffic stop on a rough road surface brakes will apply for a frction of a second then release, vehicle will then coast woth no brakes and coast through traffic.*mj

The van was in an accident. Due to the impact of the hit, and the fact that the van is not suitable per fda requirements for a car seat. I had to install a seat from another suv in order for the car seat to be installed. This was my only vehicle and the fact that there was no option for a safe infant car seat is unacceptable. I was hit by a driver that caused major impact and could have resulted in death due to safety concerns.
