Driver's side airbag did not deploy during front end collision, vehicle crashed into telephone pole, 35 mph, could be totaled, vehicle at auto repair .
Thrusting when going uphill at 15-55 mph after recall repair.
The engine stalled when anti lock brakes applied.
Abs brakes., when applying the brakes in normal conditions, the brakes fail to stop the vehicle. Also replaced brake booster and oxygen sensor.
Dt:contact states he has a diesel vehicle that loses power, and the motor shutsdown completely. This happened when the weather was warmer or raining.the service dealer stated the pmd needsed to be replaced, general motors will cover this component under the warranty, but contact cannot find a service dealer to do this work.
Intermittent stalling.
The problem with the vehicles fuel injection system it caused several near accidents . Traveling at higher speeds the truck would loose allpower instantaneously .we have been stranded on numerous occassions.in town and out of town.
Tailgate latch failed.
Speedometer fails continually.
Traction control failure.
Axle wheel seal failed.
While driving vehicle the consumer tried to switch from regular driving to 4-wheel drive. The colder it got, the slower the switch happened. Consumer had contacted dealer and they said it was not a defect.
While driving the bucket seat broke. The dealerhas been notified.
Owner states that her child was getting into vehicle when his fingers got caught in the hinge where seat bends. Owner also notes of the recall she had on her vehicle for this problem.
Consumer was going 35 mph down a 3 lane street he shifted his weight, andas a result seat broke away fromfloorboard.seatback touched the back seat. Dealer is speaking withconsumer, trying to fixproblem.
Seat cover failed.
While stopping at a stop light truck was hit in the rear,causing front seat fall completly down on the driver's side. The driver and passenger were injured. Manufacturer contacted: no results .
Whiletraveling 15-20 mphand making a stop by depressing the brak pedal vehiclecontinued to l travel into extended stopping distance. Dealer has been notified, can ot duplicate problem. Please provide further information.
While driving vehicle on freeway at approx. 25-30 mph, normal road condition, consumer went to apply brake pedal, pedal went down to floor, causing consumer to rear end vehicle in front. Dealer notified.
While driving vehicle about 35 mph the vehicle won't stop on time, and brakes make noise like grinding metal to metal. Consumer had taken vehicle to dealer 3 times for repairs.

While trying to make a sudden stop by stepping on brake pedal,vehicle continued to go. On normal stops, all four wheels seem to brake normally.on emergency (panic) stop, the rear brakes feel as though they are not working.
Anti-lock brakes will lock up when going over pot holes/man holes, also brakes fade when stopping.
Owner has abs brakes, he states that he has no braking power while going down a hill.also,while starting vehicle in the morning the brakes grab. Owner notes that dealers cannot fix problem.

Brake failure, causing accident
While driving, experienced abs failure, attempting to slow/stop pedal went to floor, then continued to roll forward. Heard load grinding noise just prior, pedal was pushing upward, towards foot, while standing on brake pedal. Resulting in a near accident.
Abs braking system on left side is locking up,and the right side is doing nothing.this happens on wet conditions or on snow.consumer has contacted dealer.
Brakes pull.
Rearwheels locks up whentrying and stop,andvehicle slides until the brakes kick in.

When traveling on wet pavementand upon depressing the brake pedal to make a normal stop all four wheels locked up, causing the vehicle to go into a skid , and resulting inextended stopping distance. Consumer has contacted the dealer.

Consumer stated when coming to a stop at a stop sign, signal light or just braking to slow down, the brakes will engage like they should, the vehicle will start to slow thats when there is a pop and at the same time that back end of the vehicle jumps up as if a large bump was hit, but there is no bump in there, alos the brake pedal drops about half of an inch, consumer states he belives that the rear brakes disengage.

The hazard flashers are inoperable on this vehicle.the servicing dealer has indicated that this is a somewhat common problem.the repair seems to involve the hazard flasher/turn signal switch which i understand is located inside the steering column.i have been told that the repair costs $200-$300.it seems to me that the hazard flashers a re an essential safety related component of the vehicle and should be repaired at no cost to the consumer.
While driving vehicle lost power steering and hit a pole.
Vehicle vibrates through out and no cause can be found.

General tires vibrate, the consumer has had tires balanced three times, vibration is still present.
While traveling 55mph on interstate heard a banging noise.was able to pull over to the shoulder, andright reartire tread separated fromvehicle . Goodyear tires.
Manufacturers window sticker stated that vehicle had a driver side air bag (incorrect).
Windshield wipers stop half way on the window.wipers failed in rainstorm.wiper control module was recalled, but consumer not notified of recall due to vin..et.
While driving in heavy rain and applying the windshield wipers, theydon't work.took to dealer, told that some computer boards were shorting out in moisture. Recall issued, but this vehicle not included due to vin.owner paid for repairs.*ml
Windshield wipers fail to function sometimes.there is a recall on this problem, but vehicle is not included due to vin. Contacted dealer, and nothing dealer can do .
While driving in the rain consumer turned the windshield wipers on, andthey worked intermittently. Contacted dealer.
While driving in the rainwindshield wipers stopped. Consumercould hardly see the road.windshield wipers startedworking again about 10 minutes later.there is a recall on the same make and models. Hower, this vehicle is not covered under recall due to vin although it exhibits the same defect.
Windshield wipers work sporadically. Sometimes the wipers come on and then stop. Sometimes the wipers do not come on at all. Dealer says circuit board needs replacedment.

When driving in heavy downpour windshield wipers stopped working, causing poor driver's visibility. Consumer has contacted the dealer.also, a recall for the same problem was issued. However, this vehicle not included due to vin.*ml
Windshield wipers malfunction ,causing visual difficulty which may result in a crash.there is a recall for the 1995 make/model, but not for1996whichhave the same problem. Please provide further information.
