The master control switch on driver side went out at the same time my front & rear vents stop working. I couldn't control any windows, mirrors, door locks, interior lights, etc. The heat/air/vent quit blowing out front & rear at the exact same time. We had vents (for air) fixed first. A dealership stated that the wires had burnt into. On june 5, 2012 we finally raised the $315.54 to fix the one problem. The control switch burn out also at the same time & will cost $463.45 to fix the control switch. I see this is an ongoing problem with several 2006 trailblazers (you can't order an aftermarket switch due to it has to be "programmed" through the dealer which charges $84.24 to whoever replaces it (even them at the dealership) after you purchase theswitch. We live on disability (fixed income) and it takes several months to save for even one problem.

Was parked at job site after having filled fuel tank. Low fuel alarm and light came on. When started vehicle gas gauge registered empty. After several off/on sequences for the ignition, fuel gauge would only register empty. Had repaired same day from dealer. Was told this was a warranty issue, and our deductible was 50% ($175).i told dealer i would contact gm to get the "deductible" refunded. I will let you know how that goes.three weeks ago the vehicle lost the #6 fuel injector and it took out the fuel injector control module (computer system??). Total cost from dealer was $1633.01. Contacted gm, was refunded $592. This a municipally owned vehicle, probably why we received refund.

Fuel gauge not working after 80,000 miles.

I just filled the fuel tank until completely full, and when i started the vehicle, the gas gauge showed empty and the low fuel light came on. Shut off and restarted several times and it still shows empty and the low fuel light is on. I drove the vehicle several miles and now the service engine light is on. I had gotten a letter from my local chevrolet dealer about this problem, but discarded it do to not having any problem until now. I searched on-line and heard about alot of other vehicles(peoples complaints) having this same exact problem.

I recently noticed my 2006 trailblazer's gas gauge rapidly going to empty. A couple of days after my warranty ended this problem occurred.now when ever i start my car the gage will show the correct amount but rapidly go to empty. Before taking it to the dealer i decided to look on the internet to see if i could fix the problem on my own. While researching i came across the following website with over 100 complaints about this same problem:www.aboutautomobile.com. Every complaint and the same problem and many did take their vehicle to get fix but the problem wasn't ever really fixed.

Fuel gauge problem on my 2006 chev. Trailblazer. Once filled it goes to empty and moves to full whenever it wants to. Very annoying and makes me record miles to know how much gas i have. Dealer quoted 400.00 to 500.00 to repair. Time for a recall. This started at 38,000 miles.

Fill gas tank and gas gauge stopped functioning. This could lead to stoppage on highway or been stranded in a remote area. This will make 2nd time replaced. It was replaced at 31,000 miles.

Getting stuck on the highways because false reading of the fuel. This has happen two time. After to repair it with only 27,000 miles. So this means every few thousand miles i have to replaced this fuel.
