Takata recall recall was issued may 2015, i received notice in july 2015.it is now november 2016 and no remedy is available?i find that hard to believe.gm must be forced to provide a remedy and not make its' consumers drive unsafe vehicles.if no remedy is available, we should be allowed to deactivate the drivers airbag.i am hereby requesting authorization to have my local dealership disconnect the drivers air bag.i can't stop driving this vehicle and do not want to be subject to injury or death due to gm's negligence.
Takata airbage.the recall of faulty airbags is taking an unreasonable amount of time.why not use a bosh or some other manufacturers product?
Takata recall; i was sent a recall notice for my airbag back in may of 2016. Dealers still do not know when they will actually be able to replace the faulty airbag.
Thursday august 29th 8:00am there was an accident that began 300 feet ahead on interstate. Tried to slow down and hit a 18 wheeler dead center of the truck. The truck spun to the left and was pointed at 25% towards the on coming traffic when a one ton truck hailing a trailer hit the driver front and spun the truck back parallel to traffic. The front end is destroyed and the air bag did not deploy. My wife hit her head on the stearing wheel and had to be taken to the hospital. Chevrolet needs to fix this issue before someone gets killed. I have pictures available from the damage. The drop down did not list chevrolet 2500 hd 2006.
Takata recall, i received a letter dated july 2016 from gm regarding the recall, i had already heard about the recall on the news and they still have no resolution.i am concerned if i get in an accident.the recall is 49151, i have called gm dealer several times but they have no date for resolution
Takata recalli am making the suggested complaint regarding the slow, actually no response from my dealership regarding correction to my vehicle.i called them today and they say that the recall 15v324 is only under investigation and that our vehicle may not be actually recalled.no parts have ever been ordered.i live in texas and the vehicle is a 2007, making it indeed highly susceptible to corrosion.the dealer is classic chevrolet in granbury tex. 817-279-8700.please have them bring in the parts and have the vehicles repaired.
The complete instrument panel went out.i have no odometer.i have no idea how many mile the truck is tracking. All instrument lighting went out.
My vehicle, a 2005 chevrolet 2500hd with a diesel, experienced engine loss of power and trouble code p0207 was stored in the pcm. This is a known problem by gm and there is a tsb #05-06-04-047c that addresses this problem. My concern is that this could happen at any time while in operation at highway or low speed. When the code is set the engine goes into limp mode and could cause an accident. Since most people that buy these to tow heavy loads a loss of power could be very dangerous in traffic. The service bulletin does extend the warranty however these vehicles are on the road long after the warranty runs out. Mine has 144,000 miles and the problem just happened. In my opinion this problem should be a recall that should be done under warranty for the life of the truck as i feel that this a safety concern.
Driving at approximately 55mph and truck shifts down to 1st gear.at the time, i was hauling a trailer full of hay.this situation could have been really bad but was able to maintain control.the dealership repair the tcm. After investigation the tcm had numerous complaints. The truck has only 52000 miles on it.
Broken bolts at the exhaust manifold, causing exhaust leaks in the engine compartment. A common problem that i have discovered surfing the web and no recall has been persued why is that
Broken off exhaust manifold bolts on both sides of the engine causing major exhaust leak.i understand this is a common problem and should be recalled.

All rake lines and 2brake calipers had to be replaced due to severe rusting. Gas fuel line fittings heavily rusted, filter can,t be replaced. Both rocker panels and cab corner rust perforated replaced both rocker panels.heavy rust on all frame rails and crossmembers i have all bills and can send pictures
Breaks failed, i went under the truck and found that all the break lines are rusted nearly through. One to the point offinally rusting through. A leak developed and the pedal went to the floor.
Driving on highway slowing to make a turn into school and brake pedal goes to the floor.no brakes at all!applied emergency brake and slowed to a stop before causing an accident.brake fluid coming out on the ground in front of rear tire and behind front tire.after looking closer brake lines failed along the frame rail.

When applying the brakesvehicle jumped andit became difficult to stop.dealer could not find any defects or duplicate the problem.the consumer stated that the vehicle would not stop completely and jumps when the brakes were applied.brake pedal pushes back when the consumer applies them in a hurry.*tc
Consumer took the vehicle to the dealer for inspection.however, the mechanic was unable to duplicate the problem. Problem was when consumer was making turns, power steering over compensates which caused a rapid swerve.*la

Whileconsumer andpassenger were sitting on the tailgate it broke in half.no one was hurt. Consumerplaced the tailgate inside of the truck, and drove it to dealer for inspection.mechanic replaced the tailgates.
The driver was pulling the tailgate down when the left side cable broke.driver tookvehicle to dealer, and mechanic recommended the tailgate cablebe replaced.
While driving consumer heard a grinding noise. It felt as though the vehicle was slipping. The front endlocked up. Vehicle has 26000 miles on it.
