I was the owner/operator of the srx was t-boned on the passenger side, air bag triggered error message and did not deploy, seatbelt did not lock in place until after i hit the dash resulting in unharnessed contact in cabin causing over $200k in medical bills to date to right shoulder, head, neck and back.
I was traveling at 55 mph down the highway and a car pulled out in front of me while making a left turn against signal. I attempted to stop however due to the lack of time, short distance and rain slicked highway i was unable to stop striking her caron her mid passenger side with the front of my car. The airbag at no point deployed.
I was involved in a severe front end collision. I was in motion traveling at a fairly high rate of speed on the interstate. I rear ended a truck after someone stopped suddenly in front of the truch.none of the vehicle's air bags deployed.the front end of the car was severely damaged.i flew into the dashboard and steering wheel and since there were no airbags hit my arms, chest, and knee.i am severely bruised and my arm and wrist may have damage.
Srx was t-boned and airbags/seatbelt retractor failed.severe injuries to cadillac driver from unlocked shoulder harness and all airbags failed.
The contact owns a 2016 cadillac srx. While stationary, the contact's vehicle was rear ended by another vehicle. As a result, the vehicle the contact struck hit the preceding vehicle. The air bags did not deploy. A police report was filed. The contact sustained injuries to the back and neck, which required medical attention. The vehicle was towed. 2016 cadillac srx.consumer writes in regards to vehicle rear view camera issues.consumer sent additional correspondence.the consumer stated at dusk, there was a lack of being able to see when using the back up camera. The consumer stated cadillac chose a360 degree fisheye lens with really low resolution.he stated it would never be as good as the straight rear view system, because it did not fill up the screen and the lenses apparently sacrificed clarity and brightness. Thee camera was foggy in the day and next to useless in the dark. The camera was replaced but the failure recurred.
The contact owns a 2016 cadillac srx. The contact stated that the infotainment screen would malfunction and cause the screen to randomly move, change, blink, and shut off. While driving, the screen malfunction created a distraction to the driver. The failure was not diagnosed or repaired. An unknown local dealer was notified of the failure. The manufacturer was not notified. The vin was not available. The failure mileage was 45,000.
Digital and analog speedometers are not synchronized, variation of 3+ mph. Gm states variation is not adjustable, is within specifications, but will not state which reading is accurate. This is a safety issue, since the driver cannot accurately tell if the vehicle is traveling a higher speed than shown on the speedometer.
Dim headlights dangerous to drive at night. Costly $4000.00 repair.
Approximately 6 months ago, i noticed a small stress fracture appear in the bottom left corner of the central digital dashboard of my vehicle. The dashboard projects safety, entertainment and automobile operating status (e.g. Deflated tires, onstar alerts, etc.). As the fracture grew it revealed a spider web of fractures distorting the dashboard and affecting the system's operation. The system would sudden begin flashing different icons, swiping from side to side which is very distracting. The digital icons are no longer functional yet the fractures continue to grow and the dashboard is very distracting while driving. We reported the defect to marvin k. Brown cadillac and was informed by the service advisor, merle porter, several other srx owners have reported the same issue, in which gm recognized as a vehicle defect. Mr. Porter reported the defect to gm, however, gm did not accept responsibility and refused to recall the component or replace the component. On 09/29/2018, i submitted a complaint to gm asking for a further investigation (case # 84675794778).the origin of the fracture is located in the bottom left corner of the panel and no external force or impact is visible and no damage was occurred by me or my passengers. I feel this defect is a critical safety issue due to its driver distracting randomly and consisting moving icons.
The contact owns a 2016 cadillac srx. The contact stated upon entering the vehicle, she noticed that there was a crack on the cue (cadillac user experience) system screen. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The contact stated while she was driving, she touched the cue system screen however, it failed to respond due to the crack. The dealer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that she would be responsible for the cost of the repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired.the approximate failure mileage was 35,000.
The contact owns a 2016 cadillac srx. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle accelerated independently. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnosis, where it was brought to the contacts attention that rodents had chewed through the wiring in the vehicle. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
I was driving the vehicle and the computer screen would randomly move around, gps was no longer working and it was not responding to touch. Then a few months later i noticed a crack in the left corner!what the heck it then spread, on occasion i heard a 'ping' and it sounded as if it was cracking.well it was, it got worse and continued to crack like a spider web.
My car was in line for a car wash at val ward cadillac parking lot. My electronic brake was on. The brake light on the dashboard indicated this. The car was in drive but stationary for approx two minutes. The car suddenly surged forward. I thought my car was hit in the back. I didn't understand why the car surged forward. My car hit the car in front of me.after the accident, the cars were separated by val ward personnel. Cruise control shuts off while driving. Cruise control and speed odometer has different readings. 7 miles different in reading.
I asked the dealer if the vehicle we were contemplating buying had any accidents.dealer showed me a carfax that did not reflect any accidents and stated as such. Upon going in to trade my vehicle this weekend i was made aware the vehicle has been in three accidents with structural damage and the vehicle is significantly less than paid. I specifically asked the dealer for the carfax. The structural damage accident happened less than 30 days before selling to me and had not been reflected on the carfax yet the dealer knew. I also paid over $500 for a fuel injector issue that was causing engine misfiring. On a long trip my check engine light starting flashing. I got it into a repair shop immediately.

The lowbeams of my headlights are so dim i cannot drive at night.don't feel safe at all.took to a dealer and they wanted to replace the whole assembly at my expense which is $2k.i was told replacing the bulb will not fix situation as it is the housing that is faulty.
The low beams on my 2016 cadillac are extremely dim and unsafe for night driving. This has been an issue for several years. It is a luxury model with no fog lights. This problem should be the corrected by gm/cadillac and not the owner. This is an extremely expensive repair and is causing serious issues with many srx owners. Previous years are coveredby a recall, for some reason this is not.
The headlights have become dim and it is very hard to see at night. Gm knows about the problem but they have not issued a recall. Both head lamp assemblies need to be replaced on my 2016 srx at a cost of $1700+. It is unsafe to drive this car at night
The headlamps on the 2016 srx have a design defect. The lens on the low beams cloud over and diminish the light to the point that the vehicle is usable at night only with high beams on all the time. Cadillac reports that brand new lens' only last 1 to three years. The cost to replace is approximately$1600 . This is a recurring cost and creates a safety hazard .
My 2016 srx cadillac. The front headlights are so dim that i can not drive at night. It's not safe. I can not see at all on the road at night.i read there was a settlement and a reimbursement over this but that i missed the deadline for it. I never knew or received anything in the mail about this safety issue that was happening to call srx cadillacs. Not just mine
The contact owns a 2016 cadillac srx. While driving at night with the low beam headlights activated, the contact had difficulty seeing the road ahead. Tom kelley cadillac (811 ave of autos, fort wayne, in 46804) was contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer had not been contacted. The failure mileage was 32,000.
The headlights are so dim it makes it unsafe to drive at night without the high beams on. I have complained and complained about this. It is a manufactured defect but they want 1500.00 to fix it!
The contact owns a 2016 cadillac srx. The contact stated while driving 30 mph a month after purchasing the vehicle, he noticed that it was difficult to see the roadway because the headlights were very dim. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who diagnosed that the dim lights needed to be replaced and informed the contact he would be responsible for the cost of the repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 35,000.
The lights have been so dim since the day that i bought the car in march 2019. I spoke to cadillac after i noticed the issue and they said that there was an issue that they were aware of but that the recall was only 90 days. She said that general motors would pay $700 of the purchase of a new light casing $1600 but cadillac stated that the lighting is a bad product not any fault of the owner so the manufacturer should cover the whole cost to the owner of every srx of this model. This is a huge safety concern. Its so very dangerous. Please help. There are several websites backing up the issue with these headlights. Lawsuits and so forth. Please hold gm responsible for putting vehicles on the road with known issues and not taking responsibility to fix it.
Lighting assembly on this vehicle causes very dim lighting that is unsafe to drive at night.i have to limit my driving to daylight hours only as a full-time uber driver which places restrictions on my earnings.i also am unable to list this vehicle on turo for rental because it would be unsafe for rental drivers.their is a common problem with the light assembly causing the dim lighting in these vehicles.
There has been a gradual decrease in the brightness of the low beams on this vehicle.my wife is the primary driver of it and doesn't drive it too much at night, but i was driving it recently and noticed how poor the lighting is at night, in particular on wet roads.it is to the point that visibility is not that far in front.if a person or animal was on the road, it probably wouldn't be seen until the vehicle is almost upon it.high beams are not a problem.there is no particular moment that this has happened - it's been over time.from internet research, this appears to be a problem with srx's.
Headlights are so dim until high beams have to be use in order to see.low beam appears like you don't have any lights on or maybe park lights.unsafe because other vehicles can't see you with low beam on and you can't see.driver seat motor went out making it complicated to reach the excelerator and brake.on the lumbar part works.all of this is while driving the vehicle.
Gradual dimming of headlight low beams over time, making them completely useless & unsafe at night. Must drive using high beams at all times. Safety hazard. (same issue as gm 2010-15 model litigation). Required to replace headlight assembly $2200. Contacted gm, who confirmed there is not yet a recall or lawsuit to reimburse for 2016 or later model repairs for the same known headlight failure as earlier models.
The contact owns a 2016 cadillac srx. The contact stated that the headlamps failed to illuminate while using the low-beam headlamps. The contact stated that there was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was diagnosed but was not repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and the contact was awaiting a response. The failure mileage was approximately 48,000.
There has been a gradual dimming of the low beam headlights on this vehicle since i purchased it.the headlights are so dim that at times they are of no value.this has created a serious situation, especially at night in the rain.it creates critical periods when i must use the bright lights in traffic just to see the roadway.this appears to be a contiuing issue with this model as i have read about similar defects and possible remeidies.
My headlights keep getting dimmer and dimmer as time goes on.my vehicle only has 40,000 miles, but i started noticing at least 5,000 miles ago that while driving down the highway at night that it appeared as if i barely had any headlights shining in front of me. I would turn them off and on again, thinking they were off but could barely tell the difference.when i turn corners, i couldn't see where the road was or curbs and had to roll down my drivers and/or passenger windows to see where i was going and to avoid missing road or hitting something. I did a little research and found that there was a class action lawsuit for 2010-2015 srx headlights with the same exact problem - upwards of 300,000 vehicles involved. Cadillac agreed to replace those headlights, but used the exact same type of headlight for the replacements and people are again having the same problem...... Lights dimming over time. I am afraid to drive at night now as it has gotten so bad that i feel my life is in danger. I don't want to drive with bright lights on all the time as that blinds oncoming traffic and creates another hazard.https://cadillacsociety.com/2020/03/10/owners-continue-to-struggle-with-cadillac-srx-headlights/i bought an extended warranty and was told it was bumper to bumper but lo and behold, it doesn't cover headlights which i was told by cadillac dealer that they were $900 apiece.
We are having issues with the low beam head lamps.they are not safe!!we have contacted the dealer on several occasions for help, only to get a "it's not our problem" response. Gm is surely aware, as a search for help with the issue pops up many complaints and possible class action law suits currently in the works.what brings me here now is, my wife recently done some serious damage to the car and minor personal injury when she hit an object in the road that could have and should have been avoided if she could have seen it!!we are just thankful this was not a person.i would gladly testify that this could actually be a possibility if something is not done with these lights.we were told we could replace with the same light, at our cost (appx. $1500.00) which i'm sure would soon have the same problem. Which should not be a problem at all with a two year old $50,000.00 car.please help us and all the others with correcting this, before something really bad or deadly happens, if it hasn't already.we have talked to several friends in our home town with the same car with the same problem.
Exterior lighting: the head light low beams on this vehicle are inferior and a safety hazard. They do not illuminate far enough in front of the car and are not bright enough.i have hit several curbs at night just because you just can't see them going around curbs or at intersections with the lights on thissuv. Talked to dealer about replacement with auto part store headlamps, and the response was it would void warranty onthe head lights (break the seal) and would cost several thousand dollars. And wouldnot improve the lighting.like others, i drive with my high beams on, even in the city so i can see pedestrians and curbs. Gm should recall these headlamps and replace for free before people start getting killed.
Since the beginning of the year. The headlights on my vehicle have begun getting dimmer and dimmer. None of the headlights have blown out but its very difficult to see at night.
Dim lights are not sufficient to see to drive at night.it is a very dangerous situation.we have to use the high beam inorder to see anything in the road and put on dim when cars are approaching .thissituation should be a recall from general motors.this has not been properly addressed.talking with other owners the complaint is ongoingand results in costly repairs without good results.
The headlights are dim at night and almost translucent during the day. I understand that there is no recall at this time but the headlights are a safety issue. Not only it is a safety issue is a costly one at that which the owner has to foot the bill which is bad business and deceiving the cadillac owners. This should be looked into because apperantly i am not the only one having this issue and gm should make good on this defect and show proper customer service to all owners.
Standard headlights not bright enough to see at night.need to use high beams
Headlights are dim making it unsafe to drive at night. Having to use highbeams to drive. Very unsafe.these vehicles should be recalled for lighting. Has been like this for a while.
The contact owns a 2016 cadillac srx. While driving 40 mph, the headlights switched from high to low beams independently. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an unknown dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.
Gmc known problem. Low beam headlights too dim to drive safely during hours of darkness. Gm is aware of this problem starting with approximately 2010 year model. Gm did not contact owners and in fact we received no notice of this obvious safety defect even though gm has been aware of it for an extended period of time, there has been numerous lawsuits and reports and several accidents attributed to the defective low beam headlights. The headlight system is covered by dot regulations and as such i am requesting a formal investigation and punitive action regarding our 2016 cadillac srx. Again i will restate that we were not contacted about a known dangerous defect in the low beam headlights. Gm is also insisting that owners pay up front for repairs and submit documentation for reimbursement while also imposing unreasonable time limits and cutoff dates. This is a dot safety issue. Please addrss it as such.thank you.
I am unable to drive my car at night because the headlights are too dim.we recently replaced the lightbulbs, but this did not help.
The contact owns a 2016 cadillac srx. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, headlights failed to produce adequate lighting. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact was unable to drive the vehicle at night due to the failure. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer and diagnosed that the headlight assemblies needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 30,000.
The low beam (dim lights) are horrible.i almost hit a man walking on the side of the road last night.you cannot see 30' in front of the vehicle when lights are on dim.you have to drive with the high beams on.the high beam works great, but vehicles coming at you are getting blinded by your high beams.you switch to low beam, then you cannot see!i have seen all the complaints on the internet.i cannot believe this issue hasn't been recalled.shame on the government for not fixing this safety issue.
The headlights are not bright enough they've never been bright enough it's almost like you don't have any headlights at night time if it's dark out. I even change them out once and it's like there wasn't enough power to them to make them bright. I have not very good vision at night and i can't even really drive the car at night unless it's in the city. A couple of people i have told me they had the same problem with the headlights and even the guy at the auto place told me that his wife had the same car and he changed her headlights and it was still bad so he changed them back and that's exactly what i did. Hardly usable at all at night i wish there was something they could do or find out if there is a flaw in the design because everyone i've talked to that has this year and type of car says the same exact thing and no one has given me any resolution on what they did they just lived with it. I love the car 100% in every other way but the headlights are a incredible factor for night driving and since i do live somewhat in the country i always have to take the other vehicle at night time.
Exterior lighting, low beam headlights, are too dim to drive at night. Dangerous hazard
We are having problems with the headlights.there is going to be a problem when someone is killed.i don't understand by cadallic won't fix the problem they replace the lights on 2000 thru 2015 but not the 2016.i have instructed my children to file suit with cadillac if something should happen to my husband and i in a car wreck or someone hurting me cause my brights are on. I have wrote a letter to cadillac so they have one on file.
The contact owns a 2016 cadillac srx. The contact stated that the headlights were dim, which made it difficult to see while driving at night. Fields cadillac st. Augustine (904-823-3000, located at 375 outlet mall blvd, st. Augustine, fl 32084) was contacted by phone and stated that the failure was not covered by the warranty. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to nhtsa to file a complaint. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 54,000.
Low beam headlights are dim and per dealership need to be replaced.this is a known issue with cadillac.there was a class action lawsuit fir this issue.the cue touch system button's on the center are not responding/locked.i am not able to use gps, change the time or any of the settings on the menu.this is also a wellknown issue and has had a class action lawsuit.the dealership advised me that the rail control assembly and the both fromt headlamps need to be replaced.the total cost of repairs is $3,126.95.both is these are safety concerns.the headlights are so dim that i cannot see properly to drive the vehicle at night.
Low beam headlights very dim. Dangerous to drive at night.
The low beams on my 2016 cadillac are extremely dim and unsafe for night driving. It is a luxury model with no fog lights. This problem should be the corrected by gm/cadillac and not the owner. This is an extremely expensive repair and is causing serious issues with many srx owners.
Front beam lights are not bright enough, this created an unsafe condition.i had to use the highest beam during night driving in order to see the road.however, when the highest beam was used, it blind the driver in front of me or blind the driver coming in the opposite .this problem is imperative and should be corrected before an accidentoccurs!!
My car is less than 5 years old and the headlights are dim.
My head lights don't work good at all and i have got stopped by police several times an got a ticket for bright lighting and stopped for driving with no lights on when i had dem on but the police couldn't even tell i had any on and i have called cadillac on many occasions and all they say is they can't fix them under a recall that i will have to pay 3000 to $3500 to have them fixed, said they have to replace the whole assembly not just lights and i think this is very much a safety issue when i can't see at night with lights on dim and i am tired of getting tickets for the lights being on bright snd when you pay over $45 thousand dollars for a vehicle you would think cadillac would fix it and it would be there responsibility to pay for it
Dim headlights dangerous to drive at night. Costly $4000.00 repair.
Headlights when on dim do not light up the roadway.the vehicle is not safe to drive at night unless you drive with the high beams on which of course infuriates oncoming traffic. If you look on the internet, you will find that most cadillac srx from 2010 through 2016 have this problem, yet no recall.why?
The low beam lights are terrible, have replaced bulbs, but still can hardly see highway this makes it very unsafe to drive this vehicle at night. Gm should recall to fix the issue.
On lights they are very dim, makeing it a rist to drive at night, safty.on brake makes a squeel when applying, had it in to service several times ,they say nothing is wrongwith it. Cadalics should not make noise like that makes poeple look atcarlike somethings wrong with it,which it is.
The contact owns a 2016 cadillac srx. The contact stated that the headlights were dim and failed to provide adequate lighting while driving. The vehicle was taken to moses cadillac buick gmc truck inc (1406 washington st e, charleston, wv 25301) and the contact was informed that the weather seals in the headlight housings allowed moisture to enter the lights and corroded the reflectors. The contact was informed that the headlight assemblies needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and provided a case number. The failure mileage was approximately 94,000.
The contact owns a 2016 cadillac srx. The contact stated that there was an extensive clunking noise coming from the transmission. The dealer (hoehn buick gmc cadillac, 5334 paseo del norte, carlsbad, ca 92008, (760) 884-2793) indicated that this was a normal characteristic of the drive line gears. The dealer stated that two of the gears may not have enough clearance, which could be the cause of the noise. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and was to follow-up with the dealer. The approximate failure mileage was 45,000.
Vehicle was purchased 11 days ago.today, with about 581 miles on the odometer. When starting to drive, the vehicle would accelerate; however, on the upshift from 1st into 2nd (not sure, it could be from 2nd to 3rd, the transmission shifted into neutral instead of shifting to the next gear.pulled over and stopped.then tried to accelerate again from stop.same problem, transmission would shift from 2nd gear into neutral, while the shift lever was in "d".reverse does not work at all.had vehicle flat-bedded to dealer.awaiting diagnosis.did call on-star.they did a diagnostic check and said it showed that something wrong with interface between engine and transmission.engine light was on during this whole fiasco.on star says the wheels are not receiving power from the engine.this is also a definite safety issue, since if merging into fast moving traffic, the car will accelerate at first, but will shift into neutral and just slow down and coast, making you a crash target for oncoming or following vehicles.
We purchased the vehicle on april 9,2016, with 5 miles on it . We took the car out of town on april 11,2016. After approximately 400 miles, while in city traffic ,the engine began revving and the car jerked, and popped out of drive. I immediately called on star. The vehicle was towed to the dealership. Diagnosis the following day was extensive internal transmission failure. Evidently, a metal piece broke loose in the clutch plate and lodged in the valve body. Today is may 11, 2016 and we still do not have possession of the vehicle. We were told it has been repaired and transported, but are skeptical.
Srx was t-boned and airbags/seatbelt retractor failed.severe injuries to cadillac driver from unlocked shoulder harness and all airbags failed.

The car was in drive but stationary for approx two minutes. The car suddenly surged forward. I thought my car was hit in the back. I didn't understand why the car surged forward. They had to release my electronic brake in order to move my car.per cadillac, if electronic brake is engaged, it will release when gas pedal pressure is applied. My feet were on the floor of car when surge occurred.i did nottouch the gas pedal.conveniently, the accident occurred right in front of the val ward cadillac body shop office.as far as i know the car was not towed, but pushed into repair shop.i will never use that electronic brake again.this should be a warning to electronic brake users. 7 mph listed below is a guess, as i went from stopped in line to surging forward.mileage listed is approximate as cadillac service records 9 days prior reflect 11,134 mi.

The contact owns a 2016 cadillac srx. The contact stated while driving at 10mph and approaching a stop sign, the contact depressed on the brake pedal but the vehicle did not stop which caused the contact to crash into the rear-end of the vehicle in front. The air bags did not deploy. There was no warning light illuminated. There was no medical treatment needed at the scene, however, the driver in the other vehicle reached out to an attorney the day after the accident to state they were hurt. A police report was filed. The vehicle was damaged where both the front driver and passenger headlight and finder were crushed in. However, the contact was able to continue to drive after the accident to their residence. The contact took the vehicle to an auto body shop to have an estimate on the damage on the vehicle, however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximate 67,000.
I was sitting at a traffic light stationary on a city street with a steep hill. I had my foot on the break waiting for the light to turn green. My breaks started to vibrate and then went out completely and i rolled back into the car behind me.
Car in motion at 23mph tried to navigate a right hand curve in road, steering was normal and then all the sudden steering caught and wouldn't let me navigate the rest of the right hand turn. Brought car to a complete stop and tried to put car in motion by pressing gas, steering was perfectly fine. This is the second time this has happened in two short weeks

4 mar 2021 passenger side front wheel bearing failed while returning home from anniversary trip with 37,733 miles on our srx.dealer stated that srx was out of warranty due to time after purchase. 5 july 2021 passenger side rear wheel bearing failed while returning home from family trip with 40,003 miles on our srx. Called cadillac customer care and received a case number.immediately received an email stating that she was my customer advocate and would get back to me within 3 working days (email is attached).no one has ever contacted me.i have contacted ccc on four different occasions with a promise every time that someone would get back to me within 48-72 hours.no response. I have not been discourteous to any of the customer care personnel and therefore, have no idea of why they do not respond to me, even if it was a denial.i get the impression that this problem may be greater than they want to acknowledge and they are hoping that i will just go away.i will not, this is more about principal at this point than money. Can you provide me guidance on what to do next, or can you assist in obtaining a response to my case?

Cadillac cue screeen shattered beneath surface while sitting in parking lot.
Cue screen cracked, bubbled up and touch screen isnā€™t responded to touch.
The car has a constant vibration at speeds beginning about 55mpr and increasing up to 70mpr. The dealer service manager and sale person drove the car and observed the same fault. This car was purchased off the showroom floor with 20 total miles. The condition was first observed on the first highway drive at speeds between 55 and 70 mph. After two attempts to balance and change tires; i was told they had to replace both rear axles, but was not able to confirm that fixed the problem.i also drove another new luxury car with the dealer and it performed the same way; suggested these were season end vehicles problems.

My car was in park and off. Rolled backwards down the driveway. Injuries incurred
Remote start does not function properly.this has happened multiple times over the last 3 years. Dealer unable to offer any solutions.
I have a 2016 cadillac srx the radio has spider web cracking in the screen, this is the second time since i have owned the car its happened causing the radio to freeze and not function cadillac does not want to cover the faulty part
We were on vacation, driving down i89 in vt, nice spring sunny day. We were going about 70mph on this open highway , when all of a sudden we heard what sound like a gun shot. Then the crackel of the glass and our 2016 cadillac srx sunroof collapsed down on top of us. To say there was glass everywhere is an understatement! this is very concerning as this should not happen. In researching this seems to be a common occurrence. Why is someone not doing something about this? this is clearly some kind of manufacturing flaw.
The car caught on fire while driving on the highway. The car was destroyed. Engineering report states cause as defective fuel pressure sensor on the fuel feed pipe. Report uploaded. The car only had 27,000 miles and was still under warranty.
Srx was t-boned and airbags/seatbelt retractor failed.severe injuries to cadillac driver from unlocked shoulder harness and all airbags failed.
The cue screen delaminated and looks like spider webs. Unit no longer functions to touch. I had to have the screen replaced for $400.00 out of pocket. Gm won't cover this known problem. I finally gave up on gm and had it repaired myself on 7-30-2020.
My radio screen on my 2016 cadillac srx has spider web cracks on both the left side and the right side.it started small, about six months ago, and the cracks keep growing and spreading.the dealer wants to charge me $1,500.00 to replace the entire radio console, but it should be a recall.
Went to work came out and my radio screen was shattered. I called local dealer and they said this was common for radio screens. Why hadn't things been change so screens don't shatter when no one is around??? this car is only 4 years old.
Cruise control shuts off while driving. Cruise control and speed odometer has different readings. 7 miles different in reading.
Takata recall-the headlights are very dim. You have turn on the brights in order to see in normal night vision areas. While bright is too bright to drive for on coming traffic. I almost had an accident of running off the road due to not being able to see the lane or the people walking along side the road. I can't believe there hasn't been a recall for this danger. I have only had the car 2yrs.
2016 cadillac srx.consumer writes in regards to rear mirrors visibility issues.the consumer stated due to the placement of the rearview mirror, it was difficult to see on the right ride of the vehicle.updated 8/21/2017
