The consumer requesting a tray to redirectair bag onpassenger side.tray is to illminate neck extensionwhen it deploys.dealer refused to add the feature, which was mentioned through a (recall id # 00-v-122-000 manufacturer recall id# 00044 fmvss 208 neck extension ) because it would make the vehicle look ugly. Please provide more information.

Due to design and mounting connection, battery is disconnecting, this problem has caused the battery to explode, on one occasion vehicle lost all power while driving, on another occasion this caused battery to not hold charges.consumer states when returning from trips, the battery is dead the next day, in every instance the battery is dead because it no longer was able to have continuous connection to the cable.

1990 vintage general motors 350 ci engine has a pewter heater hose connector on the engine that is inappropriate material and prone to failure.the connection has a short life for engine components and will easily break at the engine block causing enginer to overheat.the failure can occur on a hot engine while a mechanic is working on engine and result in scalding fluid on the mechanic.i have two vehciles with the engine/connector and both have failed. This should be a recall item by gmc.

Fuel pump went out while driving and vehicle stopped, without warning. This problem has happened at least 5 times.

Fuel gauge was inadequate to the amount in the fuel tank. Vehicle has a 25 gallon tank, and would empty in 200 miles to a full tank. The sum pump (pulls the gas to the tank) broke completely and was lying at the of the tank.dealer was notified. Please add more information.

The vehicle hesitates and then clunks into gear when accelerating from a full stop. I brought the vehicle to the dealership for repair but they were unable to fix the problem. They informed me that cadillac was aware of this problem as it seems to be inherent, but as of yet they do not have a solution and i should call them back in about one month for a progress update. I hope this is true.

While vehicle was running the seat heater overheated, burning a hole in the seat. Dealership was notified, but did not resolve the problem.

The contact owns a 1999 cadillac escalade. While driving approximately 35 mph, the driver's side seat warmer malfunctioned and burned through the leather. She also was burned on the backof her legs. She was able to drive onto the emergency lane and get out the vehicle. The seat warmer melted the leather seats. There were no repairs made to the vehicle and there were no recalls. While sitting in the vehicle with the seat heater on, consumer noticed smoke coming from under the seat, consumer was able t o pull over and turn the seat heater off.ts consumer stated the seat contained a burn hole.

He said that there is not a recall on or for my vehicle.

I have 1999 cadillac escalade with abs activation at low speeds, this is due to corrosion build-up between the abs sensor and wheel hub housing.gm replaced many of these at no cost to the customers in canada.well i live in minnesota, with salted roads.i have the same problem.went to the dealer today and asked them to see if they could fix the problem at no cost, and their answer was no.now i have hit my garage door twice, and the back of my garage wall once.my father has a 2000 yukon denali with the same problem.why is there no real,this is a very serious and dangerous problem...

The vehicle pulls to the right or left upon braking. I'm in my 2nd escalade and the 1st one had the same problem. With both vehicles there has been nine attempts to correct the problem.

Dtconsumer stated when the brakes are pressed the abs goes off at about 5 mph.consumer stated that the brakes have been replaced.this did not fix the problem.the service dealer did not inform the consumer why the abs was doing this.contact states when going around a curve the steering collapsed, after the wheels are straightened the steering is normal.the service dealer states they can't find what is wrong with the steering.

Brake master cylinder fails to work properly. Was applyingbrakes to stop, andbrake pedal went tofloor. This caused a greater stopping distance than usual.brake would not hold pressure. Tool to dealership at least 4 times formaster cylinder. Was only repaired twice.

While turning the steering wheel it became loose then grabbed. The dealer states that the steering module needs to be replaced. I think that something is very wrong with my front steering, i can't keep it going straight on the road. It keeps darting to the left and to the right.i have had it aligned two times in the last month. I think that cadillac should do something about this problem before someone gets hurt or killed.

Shortly after purchase we traveled to florida, we could not control our vehicle at speeds in excess of 50 mph.flordia dealer..demitt caddliacof clearwater florida stated the front end was not aligned and adjusted same .it was not done properlyand we cut our vacation short to return our vehicle to be serviced at the dealership of purchase.they realigned same as it wasn't done right in florida. Cadallic also re imbursed all our travel expense of $380.00. Two months later after another extended sustained high speed road trip we noticed the front end was not right again. Again back to the dealer..another front end adjustment and tire replacement due to misalignment. Another road trip at sustained speeds a couple months later the front end problem re occured. They alighned same again and when asked why it does not say in alighenment they said "we don't know". We are in our 50's..do not drive off road..no potholes..no curbs. Defect shows on long trips at sustained high speeds of 60 to 80 mph. All this is recorded at the florida dealership and the woodbury dealership.

We purchased a 99 escalade cadillac under a misleading assumption of condition of vehicle. The vehicle immediately had severe vibration in steering and suspension while driving between the speeds of 60 - 85 mph.the vehicle was immediately returned to the gm dealer several times for repairs. 12+ sets of tires were replaced in just one day.there final statement was that all the goodyear tires designed for this vehicle would not align up.a new transmission was replaced. The brakes were replaced and repaired several times.thebody electrical was repaired.the engine electrical was repaired.door panels (left & right) were replaced. The forward seats, console & dash was replaced.brakes failed several times and arecurrently bad.major vibration and shaking from day one may, 1, 2001.the vehicle vibrates during high rate of speeds.this vehicle is very dangerous and is unsafe.gmc has been contacted by our attourneys.i have had several conversations with ms nadine williams, gm attourney.the cbbb has filed 2 cases against gm resultingwith still no answers or fair settlements.the brakes, tires, suspension and unknown problems still exist.the vehicle is currently at the dealers again being repaired for brakes, rotors, vibration, tires and alignment and suspension problems. Pe-00-020; original equipment on a 1999, cadillac escalade, tire size 16 inch,dot number not available. Two sets of firestone tires were replaced due to tread separation occurring on all four tires.also,when driving there wasvibration within the front end and vehicle was shaking.first set of tires had 16 thousands miles on them, second set had 12 thousand miles on them.all 4 tires were replaced in march.failed again by july and replaced again.

The first two occasions of speed control failure occurred today.while traveling with the speed control set to about 65mph, the control failed to disengage when the brake was applied the first time.upon braking a second time, it did disengage.shortly afterwards, the control was set to about 55mph and would not disengage after repeated braking efforts.it was disengaged manually and not used since.

While driving 80 mph, the front left wheel came off.the driver was able to maintain control of the truck and pulled over to the shoulder.the truck was towed to the dealership and the owner was informed that the wheel was improperly installed by mechanic.please describe details.*mr
