Battery acid exploded under the hood, consumer states battery was supposed to last six years, and at that time it was only three years old, vehicle had to be towed and dealership gave no answer as to what caused battery to explode.(ac delco battery)

Consumer experiencing on going problem with the engine; the engine was removed on three occasions for following reasons; 1. Overheating, 2. Transmissionand 3. Replaced some plugs which hold the anti-freeze.
While driving the entire computer system failed causing an open throttle, no brakes , no power at all.please describe.
Vehicle does not decelerate. Dealer contacted, and stated a isc motor with a computer insideis not working properly to slow down vehicle.problem still exists. Repairwork estimate is $325.00, at owner's expense to remedyproblem.*ml

Water pump leak after 50k miles.had to be repaired 3 times.possibly due to overheating when radiator cap was left loose.
The consumer statedrecall #93v164000was issued.however, the consumer's vehicle experienced the same problem as mentioned in the recall.but, consumerhad to pay large amounts of money to try and get the vehicle repaired.the vehicle constantly died while in motion, the vehicle locked while in park, there was a loss of steering, the engine light was on, the engine surged and died when stopping and the egr valve binding.the vehicle also experienced hose and rear main seal leakage and a loss of oil pressure that caused the engine to die. *sc

Vehicle would overheat while driving, vehicle taken to a repair shop, and they had to replace the water pump. Dealer was not notified at this time. Feel free to provide any further information.
Crankshaft is leaking oil, causing a potential safety hazard.
Had taken vehicle in to dealer to checka knocking in engine. Piston was skipping. Vehicle went back & forth to dealer over 1week.had engine replaced after 7 weeks.when traveling 65mph or more, vehicle would shake. Vehicle been aligned & tires changed & balanced. The service road control light constantly came on for no reason. The speed traction light also came on. Going back to dealer.
The heads are aluminium the bolts attaching them are stainless steel the bolts caused the threads of the head to strip as the two materials are not compatible.the car was out of warranty on years but would have fallen within the mileage warranty,and i feel that this is a failure within the manufacturing of the car.the failures would have been taken care of under warranty if time were not a factor.this could be a potentially dangerous problem if the oil had overheated and caught fire.

Air conditioner works intermittently.
The contact owns a 1994 cadillac eldorado touring coupe.the contact stated that she started the vehicle and heard a loud explosion. She then exited the vehicle and saw smoke coming from under the hood. She then went to open the hood and found pieces of the gasket. The contacts mechanic arrived to assist and when he started the vehicle, the vehicle caught on fire. The fire was extinguished and no one was injured. The mechanic advised the contact that there was a hole in the fuel injector and it had fractured into pieces. The contact inquired with the manufacturer and was advised that there were no recalls on the vehicle and any repairs would be at the contacts expense. The vehicle was not repaired and had not been driven since the failure. The failure and current mileage was approximately 130,000.
Recall oov268000/ manufacturer's recall 895;fuel injection leak.called dealer to make an appointment. Was put on a waiting list because dealer stated manufacturer did not send out more than 3 parts per month to fix recall. Dealer contacted.
Whenever vehicle is driven over bumpy or rough roads, driver's door would become unlatched. Does not happen to the passenger's side. Has happened at least 6 different times. Has taken vehicle to dealer & was informed not to drive vehicle. Not covered under warranty.
Rear main seal leak after 70k miles.will require over $4k due to engine needing to be removed.
Transmission failed after 60k miles and needed to be rebuilt.
Casting around transmission is cracked.
The contact owns a 1994 cadillac eldorado.on september 5, 2008, while driving at 65 mph , the rpms suddenly increased to 6000.this happened repeatedly. While the contact was driving to the dealership, the vehicle lost power. The vehicle was towed to a repair shop where the mechanic informed the contact that the transmission failed. The contact called the manufacturer in reference to recall 93v164000 (vehicle speed control) and was told that the vehicle was not included. The current and failure mileages were approximately 186,000.

Unable to have new dynomometer testing applied due to computerized traction control which is normal to the operation of said vehicle.
The consumer noticed that the driver's seat belt does not retract properly.the vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection, and mechanic determined that the seat belt needed to be replaced.*sc

When she attempted to accelerate the vehicle it vibrated.also, the vehiclea vibrated when the brake pedal was depressed. The current mileage was 180,000.

Driving car, car in front stopped suddenly, slammed brakes hard (abs)(25 mph), brakes jumping up/down under foot, car did not even stop, rearended other car.

Fuel throttle accelerator, when driving vehicle at any speed and taking foot off,the vehicle continued to speed up 30-40 seconds after foot was off the pedal, to stop vehicle applied brakes.
