Without warning and for no reason the right side rear door window fell down into the door.there was a young child in the rear seat at the time.there should be a recall on this as it is a severe safety hazard. This car has very few miles for its age and should not be having these problems.driver seat no longer will adjust and it cost too much for me to have repaired at this time.

The contact owns a 2004 cadillac dts. The contact was driving when the vehicle began to decelerate slowly and became resistant to acceleration attempts. In addition, the transmission would drag while attempting to shift gears. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the contact was advised that there were no failures located within the transmission yet the failure persisted.the contact then took the vehicle to a second dealer and was informed that the seals on the transmission were fractured and would need to be replaced. The dealer stated that the failure of the seals was unusual for the particular model year. The failure and current mileage was 56,000.

During rainy periods while driving at a slow speed (20-30 mph) in parking lots or residential streets where water has pooled when i hit a deep (3-5 inches) puddle the power steering on my 2004 cadillac deville dts stops functioning for a period of 30-45 seconds. Because i am unable to steer my car i must come to a complete stop until the power steering recovers. I have taken my car to the dealer when it was under warranty and now to a repair shop several times to have the vehicle inspected and repaired. All tell me there is nothing they can do. Water is splashing onto the engine belt that turns the power steering pump and that there is nothing that can be done without some sort of factory modification such as a splash guard to prevent the water from splashing onto the drive belt.

While driving on the freeway there was a loud popping sound from the rear passenger door window and the window suddenly dropped completely into the door and would not roll back up. 3 weeks later the front passenger door window did the exact same thing.
