The consumer received recall notice regarding the air bags and was told that he would be informed when the parts became available, the consumer was advised by letter that the parts were in but when he contacted the dealer to schedule an appointment the parts were still not available. Nlm
Cadillac escalade.constituent has sent the enclosed communication in regards to takata airbag recall .*va the consumer stated the manufaturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time completing the recall repair. The consumer requested assistance on prohibting gm from reversing the safety recall 16v381.

2010-2015 cadillac srx. Consumer writes in regards to a defect with the headlights. *ld the consumer stated the headlights were too dim almost causing an acccident.
Pulse width modulated tail lights are dangerous.1) due to the persistence of vision, when i shift my eyes from one object to another, an incandescent tail light leaves a smear across the vision, with the tail lights of a vehicle at the end of the smear.a pwm tail light leaves a cluster of dots, and there is no way to tell which dot is the location of the vehicle.2) a strobing light draws the eye.emergency vehicles use strobes for this reason.i've had a pwm tail light continually draw my attention to it, although the vehicle is a quarter mile ahead of me, and there are things closer to that deserve greater attention.3) vehicles that have given me problems are several models of cadillac, the mercury mountaineer, and the nissan murano.4) pwm tail lights need a much longer duty cycle to be safe.

2012 cadillac. Consumer writes in regards to issues with front main assembly lights and ball bearings on right passenger side tire. *ldthe consumer stated the headlights on the vehicle intermittently become inoperable due to condensation in the headlight cover.

Consumer writes in regards to unusually bright low beam driving lights. *ldthe consumer stated the lights were blinding when being approached from the rear as well as from oncoming vehicles. The consumer stated other trucks that have blinding lights include chevy, ford, gmc, and dodge ram.

The dealership informed the consumer she would be responsible for the charges for the removal and installation of new seat belts.

Cpsc: i purchased a 2015 cadillac in july of 2015. Salesperson highly recommended that i purchase the$800 extended warranty for the tires & rims, which i did. *dtthe consumer stated the vehicle had a tire blow out which caused damage to the vehicle.
