The contact owns a 1995 buick roadmaster. The contact stated that the horn would sound independently. The failure was sporadic but progressed into a continual failure. The malfunction recurred whether the vehicle was in operation or stationary the fuse for the horn was disengaged. The vehicle had not been diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the problem. The approximate failure mileage was 192,800.
Problems starting vehicle, and once started vehicle stalls.*mrconsumer had battery replaced at 1 1/2 years. Starter was replaced.
The horn button wore out, which caused the horn to blare intermittently while driving. The consumer stated the horn had completely failed.
When the consumer attempted to use the horn it did not work. The horn wiring was repaired.

Once the fuel gauge registered half full it would stop operating.the dealer found that the electrical wiring to the fuel pump had melted and the fuel pump had to be replaced. The rear tail light assembly was cracked.
Loose wire, causing headlight switch failure.
Coolant leaks, water pump keeps going out which ruins the distributor. Had water pump replaced 3 times.dealer contacted.cause unknown. Consumer states that vehicle drifts to right, coolant leak near thermostat and replaced coolant pump refill, brakes squeal when turning, both rear wheel cylinders were leaking and were replaced, and there is a shudder on brake when applying, also front brakes were replaced, wheel bearings repacked and needs rear drums resurfaced. *yd

Ongoing / intermittentproblem with engine stalling.dealer notified, and informed consumerthat the problem was due to a defect in the remote jump starting terminal, and repairs would be doneat consumer cost.

Wires on fuel pump within fuel tank showed signs of severe shortages which could have led to a fire. Dealer notifed.part was available for analysis. Consumer stated even though the gas tank was full, the gas needle would drop to zero, consumer states the entire fuel sensor and pump was replaced.

Both rear passengers' doors are not shutting and locking properly, manufacturer was notified. Consumer states she can see a gap that is visible when trying to shut the door, she also hears a noise as if the door is not shutting properly.
Motor will shut off while driving intermittentlyin reverse or forward gear. Please provide further information.
Transmission dipstick not seated right, allowing fluid to leak out, starting fire. *dh
Delays in shifting from reverse to drive.
Vehicle was left unattended in park gear and running, gear jumped out of park and into reverse resulting in collision with fence and damage to vehicle.*mjs

Shoulder belt on the passenger's side is hanging out of the retractor.the dealer and manufacturer areaware of the problem. The problem has not been corrected.this is the second time for the same problem.
Car has memory seat on driver's side. Pushed memory and car seat went all the way up and all the way into the steering wheel trapping me.unable to move or drive the car. Seat did not stop even when i pushed all the buttons on the car door panel. This problem was fixed in 9/97. Memory would not hold.uld not holdi pushed all theway.

However, since the car was so old refused to check ball joint or any other of the recalled parts.i was given this car by my mother who sustained an accident back in 2004 when the right side failed and sent her into a deep ditch. I paid a private dealer $589.00 to replace all the left side steering linkage, ball joint etc. At that time i did not know about this recall.now it is the right side that is degenerating. This form is late as i was diagnosed with a brain tumor in april 2010 and had to have surgery in october 2010. Only now able to complete tasks on computer and finish this complaint form.
The vehicle lost power when turning the steering wheel and made it difficult to steer the vehicle.consumer first experienced problem about a year and a half ago.the loss of power steering was intermittent.*la

When slowing down to make a turn driver heard a noise. Driver drove a couple of miles afterwards, and vehicle began to steer to right on its own.owner became concernedand lookedundervehicle, and noticedbolt on a frame was totally missing.problem was reported todealership. Owner was referred to gmc division. Problem was corrected by an alignment shop.the customer state that upper "a" frame fastners and shim pack should be redesigned.

The ball joint came loose and fell out, safety pin holding ball joint was not installed.tt
96 v 018 002/lower control arm: vehicle was taken to a goodyear independent repair shopand consumerwas told ofrecall on vehicle. Dealer/ manufacturer were notified and informed consumer that this vehicle was not covered under recall due to vin.
Vehicle is displaying symptoms of recall campaign id 96v019000 but is not a covered vin.i would request the nhtsa look into the extension of this recall to include at least [xxx] and possibly all 1995 model year b-body vehicles.item had failed before the incident date but was first diagnosed on the incident date. Since purhase in 1995 vehicle pulled to the right. Dealer could not find problem. After the wheel bearings failed and replaced the right pull problem has been fixed. Suspect faulty wheel bearing since purchase.
Rear end problems.
Complete tread separation without loosing air, steel belts visible.( dot number: tire size: p225-75r15 )
Tire rubs against sway bar on turns, causing tires to wear out prematurely which causes the vehicle to pull to one side.

While driving auto begun to accelerate and went from 40mph to 70mph all you could hear from the motor roaring-no one was injuried. Lucky not in a school zone.
I was backing my 95 buick roadmaster station wagon from a parking lot at a retirement center when i depressed the brake to allow me to shift from park to reverse, the car suddenly accelerated and shot back across the parking lot, nearly a hundred feet before i was able to turn the wheel and veer it away from a crowded building and then turn off the ignition key to stop the motor.i had my foot on the brake the entire time and was not near the accelerator pedal.

Windshield wipers only work on high and they cut off on me one day in the rain while driving on the highway after a heavy downpour just started out of nowhere which was very scary and then again around town on other rainy days. Also when i drive and first go to accelerate, sometimes it feels as if the car is not fully in drive although it is and i have to press way down on the gas then brake then take off again to make it jump into gear all the way. When idling its high and low sounding as well, so i just want to know if any of this is covered under any recall?
Vehicle took off full throttle while in drive going aproximately 60mph.consumer was stomping on brake pedal trying to stop and brakes were pulsating, causing abs to jam. Consumer turned key to shut vehicle off. Cruise control cable pulled throttle cable back.consumer stated he had no control of vehicle and injured his foot.
The fuel throttle was stuck and was unable to stop the vehicle.tt

The consumer was involved in a minor rear end collision and the rear window shattered, causing injuries to the rear passenger.
The consumer was involved in a minor rear end collision and the rear window shattered. After backing up at a speed of 5-10 pmh consumer's rear bumper hit a tree the damage was minimal, however rear window did shatter.
Power windows failed;plastic guide is not strong enough for the job.you cannot replace just the guides as buickhas them moulded to the regulater arm.you have to replace the whole thing even though there is nothing wrong with the regulater.it cost 245.00 for this.i had one repaired and the mechnic said it was a design flaw.the passenger window was the first to go .then the drivers side rear window broke and then the drivers window.you can count on two hands how many times the passenger window was opened and on one hand how many times the rear window was opened at 245.00 per window just for the part to install it is another 100.00so you are talking about 350 per window see if you have any complaints like this or mabe since they don't make the roadmaster any more they used defective parts.sincerly ; john meyer
