Air bag coil would make a squeaking noises when the wheels are turned. Sometimes later, it soundedlike paper was brushing against it. Took vehicle to dealership & mechanic understood what was the problem. Was not covered under warranty. Also was not informed if air bag was defective.

Airbags failed, however consumer did not state exactly what happened.

On several occasion the alternator / battery failed causing vehicle to malfunction. Dealer can not fix it, problem still exist, possible electrical failure.

Approaching the stopped cars ahead i slowed my car down to appx. 15mph. The light turned green. I hit the gas to continue and when nothing happened i realized that my car was completely shut off. The power steering was stiff and i had just enough speed left to move across two lanes in to a store parking lot. The car shutoff multiple times after that, both while driving and while attempting to start the car. The mechanic thinks that my car is not recognizing the key & that i need a new key because their tests are signaling that the car will not crank due to an "anti-theft" issue. I strongly believe that has been the issue the entire time. This issue is extremely dangerous & i am lucky not to have wrecked my car that day. Overall, i have been left stranded several times, spent thousands of dollars, and had my car towed 3 times in the past year.

Security light came on dash. Did not go out. Was told if i didn't get it repaired the car would lose power and i wouldn't be able to start it with the keys i presently possessed.

Driving the vehicle down the road and noticed smoke coming from the dashboard.pulled vehicle over and put the fire out.took to the dealer and the wiring in the dashboard was burnt.

While traveling home from work on a very busy street (highway) the car died. Since then i never know when it's going to do it again. Some days it dies 5 or 6 times. I'm a senior reliant on social security income and any expense is "unwelcome", however, i have spent nearly $1,000 to no avail. Several times after a repair the car died a block from the repair shop. This usually happens in traffic. I have trained myself to flip the shift gear into neutral & turn the key on(car usually restarts - in 2 instances it did not and i was able to navigate into a nearby driveway using "armstrong power steering").characteristics are the same as those noted in the current (march 2014) gm recall.i love the vehicle and am not in a position to buy another, therefore, it would be splendid for gm to offer to repair it. It is not just me, an auto repair shop looked on-line @ www.carcrazy.com and discovered many buick regal owners as far back as 1993 & 94 have the same issue.

Two days later, the car lost power on freeway, towed, repaired=burnt wire and relay leading to fuel pump replaced, no charge for repair. Two days later, the car lost power on freeway, towed, spun crankshaft bearing. This car has 74,976.1 original miles.

I own a 1995 buick regal. The engine is hydrolocked i've been told. The intake was leaking coolant for a while at the plastic manifold. I've done research on the internet and see this is a common problem. I've read somewhere that gm takes responsibility for it and issued a fix by adding a pill additive to the coolant or something. I wasn't aware of this and my engine is totally shot. I'm a poor senior citizen and can't afford to fix a car. I have no way to get around. Please force gm to enact a recall and reimburse all damage caused by their faulty engineering. Please.

I bought a 94 ford explorer 02/02/200 and the car overheated the next day.i wanted out from the whole deal but they said no or else they will ruin my credit, so i had no choice but to get the buick, i was concerened about my credit, and on the next day i'm having all these problems.

I own a 1995 buick regal and for all the trouble i have had with it, i still like it. First, the air conditioning will quit working when it is real hot outside and we are going up a hill. Where we live that is everywhere.second, the paint started peeling when the car was only 3 years old. I contacted the dealer where we purchased the vehicle and was told that there was nothing that he could do about it without charging us for a paint job. ($3500).i then contacted another dealer in another town a couple years later and was told that if i had reported it sooner that buick would have painted it for me at no charge. I had missed the cut-off at that time by a couple months and a thousand miles.this car now has 114,000 miles on it and still runs ok. We use it as an extra vehicle for winter driving but i will never buy another one.i will never recommend the dealership where i bought it either. Finally, the rotors have been replaced two times and needs it again.i can't seem to get them replaced or turned except with gmc parts which is not worth it.

Papers in glove compartment were suck into fan, causing fan to break, and resulting ia a fie in duct of air and heat channel. Some sort of shield should have been in place betwwen the fan and glove compartment.

Fuel pump burned.dealer replacedfuel pump.fuel pump located in gas tank got hot enough to melt the insulation on the wiring, melt some of plastic body of fuel pump.

For the second time in 3 years the door latch on drivers side door has broken off.the door cannot be opened from the outside.the cost of repair is $150.00.i have heard of this same problem occurring in other gm vehicles with the same door latch design.

Going down an incline on a curve,at 25 mph and the engine shuts off and the steering locks up . Brought thecarto a stop without power brakes working. Car could not be put into park to restart . Put car ito neutral and started right up. Very very dangerous as there is no control over the steeringand brakes are only workinga fraction of there potential.

Once car shifts into the overdrive or final gear, i experience a hesitation.the hesitation seems to disappear when vehicle speed is around 80 mph.it also disappears when i take my foot off of the accelerator.

When stopping at a stoplight the driver started to move forward the transmission did not shift into 4th gear, the motor just revved up. After letting up on the gas it was ok, but it happened again at the next stop light.

While traveling 50-55mph and without warning, vehicle lost power suddenly,mechanic indicated that transmission had broken and chewed up parts.the transmission and torque were reconditioned.

Vehicle experienced problem with transmission failure while turning off at an intersection. Dealer notified, and informed consumer that he never saw a transmission blow up like that onewith only52,000 miles.

Seat reclining gears do not mesh completely, allowing seat back to be moved back/forth about 3 inches.

Left front seat back rest swings forward when the brakes are applied. Reported the problem to the dealer in july 1997. Dealer inspected and said that they could not see a problem. I went back to the dealer. They checked the back rest and said it was loose, but there was no adjustment. They gave me the phone number for the buick factory (1-800-521-7300) i spooke with alea who gave me the claim number of 980074345 and said the factoryrep would call me. I gave her two phone numbers, both with answering machines. I never got a call from the factory rep. On 1/14/99 i called back to buick and they said, "the case was closed". "the rep had talked to the dealership and closed the case." i was never contacted and the car seat has not been repaired or inspected. The dealer looked at some new cars of the same model and said they had some slack. Which is true, but not like mine where the back of the seat so much slack that it trows the drive forward. The situation now is that every time a person steps on the brake the front set back flys forward and throws the driver into the steering wheel. I am not a mechanic, but something is not right with the excessive movement of the seat back rest. (the car does have an electric seat on the dirver's side). It is very dangereous to drive the car and remember to lean forward each time the brakes are applied. We have to remeber to warn every driver of the car and hope they do not forget. It scares the 'willies out of them' when it happens. The loose seat problem is either an engineering fault or a manufacturing problem. The dealer said it is a factory problem and the factory relied on the dealer's word rather than fix the problem. The dealer says the car is now out of warranty and 'sol' . I would like to know what my next step should be in following the correct channels to get the problem corrected. If legal action is to be my next step, please let me know. Many times in the last few months, when traveling extremely slowly, eg. Coming to a stop sign, backing out of driveway, etc., i hear and feel a heavy rattle (as though metal has released a linkage) and i can feel something release thru my break peddle.it only takes a few seconds.this happens many times each day and is happening more frequently lately.i've had it checked several times by mechanics and they can't find the problem.i'm very concerned that my breaks could fail and i have already received a preliminary recall notice on my airbags, which i haven't received the information yet on the repairs, which adds an additional concern to possible brake failure.i'm a divorced mom, with two kids at home and haul other children often.this is my only vehicle.please let me know if there is a know cause for this problem.thank you.

Owner has abs brakes, she states that her brake pedal goes to the floor and that her low traction light comes on when brakes are used.

Going down an incline on a curve,at 25 mph and the engine shuts off and the steering locks up . Brought thecarto a stop without power brakes working. Car could not be put into park to restart . Put car ito neutral and started right up. Very very dangerous as there is no control over the steeringand brakes are only workinga fraction of there potential.

While driving, experienced brake failure, when made an attempt to slow/stop pedal went to floor, vehicle continued to roll forward, had to pump brake to stop.

Dealer has been sympathetic towards problem/buick states the premature wear of rear disc pads and rotors are because i live in an area where there is road salt and sand.i don't think that this is the problem. Buick is advisingthe dealers that we have to apply the parking brake once a week to adjust the rear calipers, this was done and the problem continues. On 7-23-99 i had the car to the dealer for the third time with this problem. This is the fourth set of disc pads and rotors on this car i have talked to other owners of these cars and they have had the same problem. Other cars that are having this problrm are hev. Lumina, pontiac gran prix, olds cutlass. For the production year 1994-1995. Again g.m> and buick are stating this is not a problem. When the rotors warp the whole car shakes when applying brakes. The rear calipers do not work properly, therefore the rear brake pads do not touch the rear rotors until hard braking, and the rotors collect dirt and dust when they do not work, and when hard braking is done the calipers finally work, but when they hit the rotors the pads heat up the dirty rotors, thus they heat up and warp. I hope i made some kind of sense in this comment, it can be hard to explain. Hankyou for this matter.

The rear brake rotors and pads have been replaced 3 times; twice under warranty, once outside of warranty.at 75,000 miles, the car is in need of its fourth set of rear pads and rotors.special care has been taken to make sure proper lugnut torque has been adhered to.owner has always checked torgue after wheel removal and set to manufacturer's spec of 100 ft/lb.this includes wheel removal by gm dealerships and tire repair shops, etc.i would like to resolve this problem for once and for all.it is the only black eye for the car.i would try high performance pads and rotors if i knew where to start.

I own a 1995 buick regal and for all the trouble i have had with it, i still like it. First, the air conditioning will quit working when it is real hot outside and we are going up a hill. Where we live that is everywhere.second, the paint started peeling when the car was only 3 years old. I contacted the dealer where we purchased the vehicle and was told that there was nothing that he could do about it without charging us for a paint job. ($3500).i then contacted another dealer in another town a couple years later and was told that if i had reported it sooner that buick would have painted it for me at no charge. I had missed the cut-off at that time by a couple months and a thousand miles.this car now has 114,000 miles on it and still runs ok. We use it as an extra vehicle for winter driving but i will never buy another one.i will never recommend the dealership where i bought it either. Finally, the rotors have been replaced two times and needs it again.i can't seem to get them replaced or turned except with gmc parts which is not worth it.

While driving 60 mph vehicle would not accelerate due tobrakes grabbing. Vehicle was towed to a dealer who determined that rotors on all 4 wheels were red hot. Vehicle still at dealership at this time.

Brakes/rotors : whenapplyingbrakes the vehicle was jerking when attempting to stop. Took vehicle in at 17000, miles. Dealersaid he would need front brakes changed. At 22000 the vehicle is making a noise and can hear the grinding noise.

While traveling home from work on a very busy street (highway) the car died. Since then i never know when it's going to do it again. Some days it dies 5 or 6 times. I'm a senior reliant on social security income and any expense is "unwelcome", however, i have spent nearly $1,000 to no avail. Several times after a repair the car died a block from the repair shop. This usually happens in traffic. I have trained myself to flip the shift gear into neutral & turn the key on(car usually restarts - in 2 instances it did not and i was able to navigate into a nearby driveway using "armstrong power steering").characteristics are the same as those noted in the current (march 2014) gm recall.i love the vehicle and am not in a position to buy another, therefore, it would be splendid for gm to offer to repair it. It is not just me, an auto repair shop looked on-line @ www.carcrazy.com and discovered many buick regal owners as far back as 1993 & 94 have the same issue.

Any time when adjusting the steering position it will slip, and has alot of play in the tilt.contacted dealer, vehiclenot under warranty.they said it was adesign defect, and a safety hazard.

A flaw in glove compartment design. Whenever paper is in glove compartment it would slip through & get entangled with fan motor & clog it. This caused fan motor to overheat. Took to dealership who called manufacturer. Was informed its owner's problem to solve.

When papers are put in glove compartment they can easily slip into the air conditioning fan. Glove compartment not sealed.

Paint peeling...coming off in sheets for last few years...contacted both gm and buick home offices ....was told it wasn't a defect and nothing could be done.it appears to be the same type of delamination problem that they had the recalls on vehicles for years just ahead of mine.didn't they have to correct the problem??

The dashboard separated on the driver side while driving falling on the drivers leg. Also on passenger side dashboard at the bottom fell off.tt

Windshield fluid reservoir failed.

Windshield wipers would activate intermittently, obstructing the view of the driver.a recall has been issued on the vehicle make and model. However, this vehicle was not included due to vin.switch has been replaced at the owner's expense.

Pulse wiper switch was replaced before recall 97v017000, when recall notice came consumer had repair done again, but the problem still exists.
