Dashboard has warped and separated from under the windshield. According to experienced auto mechanic friends of mine, deployment of the air bag system will most likely be compromised. This is a serious safety issue affecting hundreds, if not thousands of these buicks! when are you going to do something about this? check this website and you'll see how prolific a problem this is! http://www.cargurus.com/cars/discussion-c5295_ds45613not to mention the money lost because of the inability to sell these lemons.2000-2005 buick owners are in danger. And you've done nothing about it!if this was toyota, you would have recalled every car they make and fined them another 50 million dollars.stop the hypocrisy. Intelligent americans see through this selective punishment. Do your job!

My front dashboard has been gradually coming unattached near the windshield.it has gotten so bad that it is hindering my view of the road.my daughter is just learning to drive and we have decided it is not safe for her to use my vehicle because her view of the road is blocked by the lifted dashboard. This is truly a safety hazard and i cannot believe buick has refused to acknowledge this defect which is affecting so many of their customers.

2003 buick le sabre. Dashboard is pulling away from the firewall. Electronic parts are exposed. As a result, airbag and other safety sensors and wiring is exposed. There have been reports of airbag deployment. The dash is pulling away toward the passenger side where the airbag is housed. There are many reports of issues on the internet. The dash has pulled away over 2" in the center. It is distracting while driving and if the air bag deploys, it will create an accident. At this point, i would be happy with a fix, it does not have to be a replacement.

The airbag light stays on and the dash is separating from the firewall of the motor.there is a gap between the windshield and the dash

The vinyl dash pad in front of the driver started to shrink toward the steering wheel and raise upward and is now up about1 -1/2 inches and is progressing toward the passengers side i am concerned about the possibility that when the passengers dash pad area rises upward will this cause the passenger air bag to deploy?

The contact owns a 2003 buick lesabre. While operating the vehicle, the air bag sensor light illuminated indicating that the air system was faulty. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was 200,000.

When driving at any speed air bag warning light appeared on the dashboard. Also. The consumercontacteddealer on four separate occasions, but problem still occurs. *la

I have a 2003 buick lesabre that the dash has come unglued and has buckled up half way across the dashboard. The dash is mainly affected in the area infront of the steering wheel, but is getting worse and spreading towards the center and passenger side. I'm really scared to drive my car. So afraid the airbags may not work correctly in an emergency, or even worse, that the airbags go off for no apparent reason! i have friends with the same problem. There is an internet link with a buick lesabre forum where many other dissatisfied lesabre owners are complaining of the same problem. Therefore, i know mine is not an isolated case. I have contacted the dealership where i purchased the car. They told me gm was not responsible for this problem. An estimate of $525.49 was given just for a new upper dash. This did not include labor.please help!!!

We bought the car december 29,2015, the car had 102,0215, and drove it to the doctor on our way back, the would make a "clunking" sound from trans-axles, and we notice that the dash board came up and it has hardware screws across the dash as if to hold it down.

At a little over 40,000 miles, i notice a hump in the dash cover in front of the steering wheel. The separation and lifting has now stretched to near center dash. If it continues, i'm afraid it may possibly effect air bag operation or passenger safety.

My front dashboard has been gradually coming unattached near the windshield. It has gotten so bad that it is hindering my view of the road. It is also a problem for the airbag system.. This is truly a safety hazard and i cannot believe buick has refused to acknowledge this defect which is affecting so many of their customers.i own two buick lesabres and it happened to both of them.

The contact owns a 2003 buick lesabre.the contact stated that the inflater device in the steering column needed to be replaced.she stated that in the event of a crash, the air bag would not deploy.she has had the part replaced, but buick does not feel that this is a safety issue.the contact hears an occasional squeaking noise when turning the steering wheel.the speed was unknown.the failure mileage was 17,000 and current mileage was 20,000.

Entered vehicle and noticed dashboard buckling on drivers side and passenger side.afraid to start vehicle because the passenger air bag may deploy.

Dash panel is separating from frame , started in front of driver & progressing towards passenger side where air bag is located which is a possible safety problem ,not to mention resale or trade in.

Consumer stated while drivingan avis rental another vehicle traveling at high speedshit the drivers side of consumer's vehicle.upon impact, airbagsdid not deploy.consumer sustained head and chest injuries.

I was hit head on.my vehicle a buick lesabre 2003 and the vehicle which hit me, a 2000 chevrolet malibu was totaled.the airbag on my buick lesabre did not deploy, thus causing me physical injuries.

While driving, the consumer applied the brakes and thepedal went to the floor. This caused lost of braking power. The consumer placed both feeton the brake pedal but the vehicle did not stop. Consequently the vehicle collided with another vehicle.upon impact, both air bags did not deploy. No injuries were reported. The consumer was able to drive the vehicle to the dealer for inspection. The mechanicadvised theconsumer that a representative would come down to determine the cause of the problem.

The upper dash pad is peeling from its backing, opening a 1" gap approximately a foot across, in front of the top of the steering wheel and directly behind the defroster grille housing. I have filed a complaint with gm, requesting financial assistance with repairs. Gm created a case file (#71-969127956) andi was denied any assistance. I then requested to speak with the gm district rep, who also denied any assistance and would not acknowledge knowing of buick having a problem with this component. The repair estimate i obtained is $1080.20.i first observed the problem when the vehicle had 47,000 miles. The passenger side air bag is enclosed in this pad and i am concerned that if the split in the dash extends far enough, it could cause the air bag to deploy. The vehicle now has 48,000 miles and aside from this problem, is in immaculatecondition.please advise me of any pending action nhtsa may be considering to force gm to take responsibility for this defect, which has been has also been reported to you by several other buick owners. I would like to know that you are serious about representing the public in vehicle defect matters.

Air bag light came on for no apparent reason.air bag light was not covered in ge auto warranty services 4 star plus contract. I took the car to the dealer of which i purchased it from and found out it was diagnosed as a faulty crash sensor but not covered, cost was $95 for a 5 min diagnostic, error code reading taken off the control computer for the airbag.safety feature failure is not covered by manufacturer, dealer or warranty.have not at this time corrected failure, price for repair was $300 on top of $95 diagnostic.

Used buick lesabre custom 2003 cuts off while driving. The volt light appears and then the car shuts off. This is frightening and truly dangerous. The car will start back up usually after the first attempt, but sometimes it takes about two attempts. The car was taken to an auto repair shop where the car computer was replaced because the mechanics believed that to be the problem. However, after that was done, the car shut off again, several times, the very same day. The car was taken back to the auto repair shop and multiple tests were run and we were told about a number of problems ranging from the computer to the sensor. After all the tests were ran and parts replaced (computer and sensor), the car drove fine for two afternoons and then shut off again while at a traffic light. Fortunately, there was very little traffic and the light was red. The car turns back on but the fact that it shuts off at random and the mechanics cannot tell us the reason is unsettling. We have no solutions so far because the exact cause cannot be pinpointed. We do not feel safe driving this car. This issue has been recurring ever since june 27, 2014 and has become increasingly problematic.

The contact owns a 2003 buick lesabre.the contact stated that the vehicle would stall sporadically without warning when driving at least 60 mph.the contact took the vehicle to the dealer and a local independent mechanic for diagnostic testing but no failure codes would generate.the contact replaced the ignition key but it did not remedy the failure.the contact had concerns that the vehicle stalling in traffic could cause a major crash and did not feel safe operating the vehicle. The failure mileage was 76,000.

I was driving and proceeded to slow down as i did i heard a loud noise i continued driving about 3 miles when i smelled something burning. I stopped for a red light and noticed smoke coming from underneath the hood on the driver side. I pulled into a parking lot where the car proceeded to ignite on fire and burned before the fire department got there. I had no previous problems with car before this incident.

The contact owns a 2003 buick lesabre. While driving approximately 5 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. The vehicle restarted; however, the failure recurred on several occasions while driving at low speeds. The vehicle was taken to the dealer but the failure was unable to be determined; however, the gasket kit, a connector, and the maf sensor were replaced. The failure persisted and the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, but the failure was unable to be determined. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 71,449.

I noticed the dashboard was coming apart from the windshield towards the driverside..i also started experiencing my car cutting off,,&a weird noise when i press my brakes..my car also gets hot&smells like somethings burning..i've replaced numerous things,,but yet to come to a resolution..i really need help because this is scary..i've talked to buick&you all wanna charge me just to look at my car??that's not help at all...

Battery goes dead over night, took it to a mechanic he said the fuse box underback seat is shorting out

The contact owns a 2003 buck lesabre. While driving 10 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. The vehicle failed to restart until the next day and had to be towed to the contact's residence. The dealer stated that the battery might have caused the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 2,000.

The consumer stated the horn was mounted along with the air bag assembly, which made it very difficult to find in an emergency situation. *nlm

The consumer stated the horn was difficult to activate and the plastic material used to manufacturer the horn made ithard to push down. *nlm a gm representative witnessed the same problem.it was difficult for the consumer to blow the horn and in an emergency it may become impossible.the consumers wife had arthritis and was unable to blow the horn under most circumstances. *scc

The contact owns a 2003 buick lesabre. The contact stated that after his friend drove the vehicle to his residence, there was a burning oil odor detected. The contact opened the hood and there was smoke coming from the engine. The vehicle was diagnosed by an independent mechanic as a valve cover gasket leak. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact was concerned that the failure could lead to an engine compartment fire. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but informed the contact that the vin was not included in a recall. The failure mileage was 136,776.

For the past several months, i have had a problem with a faulty with the gas cap.the alert i receive on the car states that the gas cap is loose, then the engine light goes on.i have had this issue thoroughly checked out by my mechanic and he is stumped as to how to fix this.we have replaced the gas cap several times, he has performed numerous checks to see if there is a leak in the gas tank or fuel lines, all to no avail.he cannot detect a leak.i have spent over $1000 trying to fix this problem. The problem remains unfixed and with the engine light and fault active, this vehicle does not pass state smog.

Intake manifold gaskets (both lower and upper) have failed resulting in coolant loss.poorly designed plastic gaskets are no longer used but this should be a recall as it results in safety issue if coolant is completely depleted on the highway resulting in failure of vehicle to drive due to engine failure.

Well i've already put in one complaint so here's another..now i have to replace another valve cover gasket,,this will b the second one within a yr..its dripping all my oil out&actually caught fire. Im scared of the car now..i was already scared because of the dashboard is falling in or coming apart...yall might not deal its serious,, but i dolast time yall wanted me to pay for buick to look at my car&i feel that is wrong.. I seriously need someone to get in contact with me about this matter...

While driving on a 40mph road, the engine spontaneously lost power - the power steering and brakes also ceased to function as a result. The radio and lights were still on.after guiding the stricken car to a safe area, i turned the engine back on and was able to drive as normal. The issue repeated roughly a week later at lower speed while going over a speed-hump in a shopping center parking lot.note: the issue occurred following the addition of apartment and mail keys to the keyring. I separated the additional keys from the car's key following the second incident. The issue has not repeated since.

2003 buick lesabre.consumer writes in regards to engine problems.the consumer stated the lower intake manifold had to be replaced in 2009 with 50,000 miles on the vehicle. Four and a half years later, the lower intake manifold gasket was leaking again and had to be replaced..also, the level ride compressor had to be replaced.

When the lesabre was reliable; it was reliable. However, when issues started to occur, they were massive.at approx 90k miles the transmission went with no warming and was instantly. After that the car still had issues with the drive, transmission and gears. The fuel pump and intake manifolds have been replaced. As of 2014 i continue to have issues with this vehicle. It currently runs very hard and when idle and in traffic (very scary) will randomly cut off with zero warning or even begin to smoke. There is the correct amount of oil and antifreeze. The car will randomly smoke as well. I have been to the mechanic several times trying to figure out the main issue so that it can be repaired. This is extremely frustrating. Anyone have any solutions? i keep reading plenty of owners with the same issue(s) so i find it hard to believe that gm/buick has not done a recall on parts for the engine, transmission, etc.

"defective gaskets fire hazard" oil dripping from valve covercaught fire burning plug wires and 3800 v6 engine shroud'.i had parked the vehicle in my drive. I went inside home for2 minutes. I came back outside to retrieve a soda when i discovered smoke billowing from under hood. When i released hood latch and raised hood flames shot outdriving me to the ground. I quickly got a wash bucket nearby and was able to put out fire. I don't know the extentof damage. I found out that over 1300 gm vehicles have caught fire due to this problem. I reported the incident tobuick and was told a representative would contact me within 24 hours. 2 days pass no call and car sits in drive.i'm lucky i caught it as it could have caused a house fireas well.

Occasionally smelled anti-freeze after careful inspection could not determine where leak was.had to add anti-freeze on two occasions.took car to gm dealership for oil change and was told of the problem.he showed me the leak and advised i should get it repaired asap.estimated repair cost at this point is in excess of $1,000.it was also advised that if not repaired this could result in antifreeze in the oil which would ruin the motor.this problem is related to the gasket they used, which is plastic and has since been changed.

2003 buick lesabre. Consumer states problem with intake manifold gasket failure *tgwthe consumer stated the intake gasket developed a leak, which allowed coolant to get into the oil. The consumer had to replace the upper intake manifold gasket at 46,333 miles and the lower intake manifold gasket at 71,193 miles.the cause of the problem was alleged to be an incompatibility between the gm dex-cool coolant which was introduced in 1995 and the intake manifold gasket material which could cause the engine to overheat and/or seize while driving on the highway.

I helped my 78 year old mother purchase a 2003 buick lesabre in early jan. 2006.when i test drove car i noticed coolant was low and mentioned to salesperson.dealer replaced leaking plenum gasket but did not report to me. Less than 300 miles later the car was severely losing coolant again. Dealer said upper intake manifold (plenum) was warped and needed replacement. Problem is that the only plenum gm makes for this engine is defective and will likely warp again, possibly destroying engine. This has happened to many owners of gm vehicles that have this engine.all repairs on my mother's car have so far been under warranty but warranty will soon run out. Warranty is supposed to cover any defects in manufacturing. Plenum is defective and the only gm authorized repair is with another defective plenum. This is just a temporary fix.i spoke with a former gm mechanic who told me that he sees this problem all the time and that gm knows about it. Plastic is not a suitable material for the plenum, as it warps due to engine heat. A recall is only way to remedy this problem. This engine is used in many vehicles (buicks and other models) that are popular with the elderly. It is unconsciousness that gm knowingly allows the elderly to drive cars that will likely leave them stranded.

Upper intake manifold leaking externally at 50,400 miles on 2003 buick lesabre. Same occurred on my 1997 buick lesabre at 85,000 miles.replaced upper intake manifold and gasket with after market assembly on 1997 now at 103,000 miles.2003 buick currently at dealers for repair pending.

The owner's manualadvisedto push the turn signal lever down until he could see the flashing arrow, not all of the way down.the way it said to do, ifturning left or right andwhen making a lane change, the lever will return on its own to its original position.this does work properly. The consumer thinks this is a safety issue because oneshould be able to push the lever all the way down when making a lane change as one does when turning left or right. The dealer said this was the design of the car. Update 11/16/05.

While driving on i95 in georgia on the way to florida 12-28-08my 2003 buick lesabre transmission started bucking and jolting car as it shifted.took to garage and it was determined that the torque converter locked up,this car had the transmission oil replaced at recommended 50,000 miles, besides the 2200 dollars to replace transmission we had to get hotel room, meals and a rental car to continue trip as the replacement transmission could not be delivered right away.

This incident is regarding a sudden transmission failure on a 2003 buick lesabre, purchased in may of 2003.in january of 2008, with 47,692 miles on the car, the transmission suddenly failed while the vehicle was in use.there was no warning before the incident - the vehicle lurched, bucked, rapidly picked up speed and rapidly lost speed without warning.this situation was incredibly dangerous to both myself, passengers and other motorists.my remedy was to immediately pull over and turn off the engine.the service manager at the vehicle repair center explained that this is a common problem with post-1997 buicks, in which there is a typically faulty transmission.he cited that he may see close to 100 similar cases per year.in fact, while i was discussing my car with him another post-1997 buick came in with the same problem.it seems that a chronic manufacturer's defect exists that affects the safety of the vehicle, and it has not been addressed by the manufacturer with a product recall or warranty concession for people who have experienced transmission failure.

Dt*: the contact stated while pulling out from a stop sign or stop light, going 10-15 mph, the vehicle would not immediately accelerate.the vehicle eventually accelerated; sometimes taking 15-30 seconds and up to five minutes.the vehicle has been to the dealership five times.the dealership ran diagnostic tests and the tests failed to show any codes to indicate a problem.updated 08/28/06.

Front disc brake pads do not wear evenly.the inboard pad (on both wheels) wears faster than the outboard pad.problem is, only the outboard pads have the wear alerter.so, if you don't inspect your front brakes frequently, the inboard pad lining can wear completely away without your knowledge, cause damage to the front brake rotor and reduce braking to an unsafe level.i have seen this condition on more than one buick lesabre.

Noise had occurred upon slowing and braking, so i took it to a dealer. A person from the service department rode with me but the problem did not happen (perhaps due to the light rain). Two days later i made a trip into atlanta. The front brakes sounded as though they were grinding at all speeds. A tire dealer in decatur (nearest my location at the time) replaced both front brake pads and rotors (36,000 miles).the problem is back. Examination of all four brake rotors and pads shows no gouging of the rotor and plenty of pad remaining on all 8 pads; they appear to be practically new (48,000 miles).

While the driver either attempted to stop at a light or stop sigh the brake pedal would almost touch the floor.this problem started about two weeks after the vehicle was purchased.the vehicle was involved in two accidents because of this problem.*ph *nlm

When applying brakes at stop light, tires seemed to skid, shudder and finally stop. When the traffic light changed, the car didn't want to go acting like the brakes were locked up.continued pressing throttle and it finally broke free and started moving normally.the initial stop wasn't a fast stop, just normal speed.

Dash separation between steering wheel and windshield may cause airbag deployment on passenger side of vehicle , and is also a visual obstruction . In both instances death may be possible . Dealer response is very minimal at best ,but their concern as it being a safety issue is sincere .

The dashboard on my 2003 buick lesabre began to separate and peel away from the body and buckle out toward the passenger section of the vehicle. This cannot be pushed back into place. It will very likely propose a safety issue if the air bags need to be deployed or may even cause premature air bag deployment.

The dashboard has separated from the base at the windshield in front of the steering wheel and has popped up.it was about an inch long and up in december but has progressed to now half-way across the windshield and is sticking up about 4 inches.i have read others with this problem having a concern about it creating a problem with the air bags.the expense of repair has been quoted at about $1,200 parts and labor.that is too expensive. We are looking at other options.possibly trade.

Dash peeling . Started at the center and has spread about 50% across. Airbag light has flashed several times. Have contacted buick several times about this. No results. Bought car 12-11-02. Started peeling in july 6 or august 6, 2003.

The dash on buick lesabre model years 2000-2005 peels away startingat the windshield and sticks up and continues across . Concern when it gets to the right side the airbag might deploy..only solution is to replace dash. Have contacted buick about this but they do not acknowledge a problem. Filed a formal complaint with nhtsa, was supposed to have received papers to fill out and return ,have not received them yet (4 weeks ago) spoke to buick rep. 11-2-2010 and was told i would have to pay for repairs unless enough people filed a complaint to initiate a recall. My 2003 buck lesabre dash has buckled in front of the steering wheel and is slowly moving to the passenger side now. Dash board separation. The dash board is buckled and separating in front of the drivers area, and is starting to separate in front of passenger seat, just above trim above glove box.front of dashboard is raising, nearing line of sight.

The dashboard right behind the front windshield separated and lifted.a popped dashboard between steering wheel and front glass is being reported hundreds of times.cannot force the dash back into position.dealer said i would have to pay for a new dash. There is a continuously growing dashboard bubble (on top) on the driver side between the steering wheel and the windshield as a result of dashboard cover separation due to clip(s) failure - it has been spreading across the dash to the passenger side, and now there is concern about potential passenger airbag deployment issues.

Dashboard separation in front of the steering column and it is now separating toward the passenger cabin, it is my concern that this will cause the passenger airbag to deploy while in motion, this started around july of 2011 and i have researched and found numerous other buick owners with this same complaint down to the minute detail.

At a little over 40,000 miles, i notice a hump in the dash cover in front of the steering wheel. The separation and lifting has now stretched to near center dash. If it continues, i'm afraid it may possibly effect air bag operation or passenger safety.

I have a 2003 buick lasabre the dashboard is separating and raising up. It starts in front of steering wheel and goes half way to the passengers side of the car. It has came apart about two inches and is raised up aboutthree inches ,and getting worse. The car is not left out side,so i don't think it is from the sun. If this separation reaches on across the dash(and the way it is going,it will) the passenger air bag may deploy and cause serious injury to the person it hits, or cause me to have an accident. I have talked to many people that have had this same problem with this same model buick, and that gm wont admit they have a design or workmanship problem and do the right thing and recall the cars for repair. Shame on you gm. I have owned gm cars since 1957 and they were great cars. Please own up to the fact that you have a problem and fix it .

The contact owns a 2003 buick lesabre. The contact stated that the dashboard had become fractured and the contact was concerned that the failure could cause the air bag not to deploy in the event of a crash.neither the dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the failure, nor was the vehicle diagnosed or repaired.the current mileage was 39,000 and the failure mileage was 35,000.

Approx. April 1, 2014 noticed that the dashboard was "lifting" away from the base.since then it has gotten progressively worse, lifting from left hand side towards center of vehicle.buick tells me it is not covered and there have been no recalls on it, yet i've seen 100's of complaints about same thing on the internet.worried about safety of airbag(s) deploying and if it keeps lifting the way it has so far, visibility will become a factor.vehicle was purchased new in august 2003.

Dashboard is separating from the front of dashboard and is curling up on driver side of car and heading for the passengers side and the air bag. I am afraid that passenger air bag deployment will happen when it reaches that side.

..the dash pad on my 2003 buick lesabre is separating from the dash, so far is halfway across to passenger side...afraid the passenger side airbag may deploy if it goes much further..this is an expensive automobile, still runs good at 108m miles..understand this problem is prevalent throughout buick lesabres...why is gm and buick not acknowledging this problem as defect and recalling these vehicles..as good as these cars are, i will never buy another gm or buick automobile!!!!

Please get gm to recall this defective dashboard.thank you, [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

Dash panel is separating from frame , started in front of driver & progressing towards passenger side where air bag is located which is a possible safety problem ,not to mention resale or trade in.

The dashboard panel is separating at the front where it meets the defroster cowling. The separation is increasing along the front of the dash from driver to passenger side, and is starting to curl up considerably on the driver side. It is unknown how much further the separation/curling will continue, and is beginning to affect the vision of the driver just above the hood. I addition, other components under the dashboard are beginning to be exposed to sunlight. Further investigation suggests that this is an extremely common failure with this model vehicle, with multiple complaints from consumers, ranging from obscured driver vision, to potential or possible airbag deployment due to exposed components. Investigation also suggests that general motors is not acknowledging the existence of the problem, nor providing adequate solutions for repair despite numerous customer complaints and concerns.

I have a 2003 buick lesabre that the dash has come unglued and has buckled up half way across the dashboard. The dash is mainly affected in the area infront of the steering wheel, but is getting worse and spreading towards the center and passenger side. I'm really scared to drive my car. I have had to have alinements on front end more times than i ever had on any other vehicle i ever owned. The only thing that is good about the vehicle is the engine, i have had no complaint with it so far. The dash pad is curling up from the windshield on the driver's side.there is a gap of several inches. Many people are experiencing this in my research. Will need to replace dash pad

The dash pad is coming apart, separating and buckling up so high that it is now a visual hazard when driving. When the weather is somewhat warm or hot, the buckling is much worse. It is now separating further towards the passenger side and i am afraid that the air bag could possibly deploy while driving. This vehicle is equipped with a heads up display and even that is being affected by the dash pad coming apart. I paid lots of money for this vehicle and expect to keep and drive it for many years. With this safety defect getting much worse as time goes by, i now wonder how much longer i will be able to drive it. It is a complete shame because this vehicle is like brand new except for this unsafe factory defect. Every one of these vehicles from years 2001 thru 2005 that i have noticed in parking lots, driveways, garages, and even on the highways, have this same factory safety defect. I have friends and family members who own this same model vehicle but different year models, and their dash pads are exactly the same way as mine. Please make gm issue a recall and fix this safety defect before someone is killed!!!

In 2009 the dashboard began to lift up under the windshield. By 2011 the dashboard had lifted up almost completely across the dash across the windshield, by about 2 inches. I had my mechanic attempt to secure it back down on several occasions.

The contact owns a 2003 buick lesabre. The contact stated that the dashboard was buckling toward the driver's side near the air bag and the contact was concerned that the damage could cause the air bag to deploy without being involved in a crash.
