Our steering went out on interstate 65 while traveling about 70 miles per hour.we were near an exit and i was able to pump my brakes and get off without causing an accident that could have caused a multiple pile-up, injuries and potential deaths.the problem was diagnosed and repaired by a gm dealership.the car was towed directly for repairā€”no manufacturer (other than gm repair), police or insurance representative was involved. A message saying ā€œpower steering assist needs serviceā€¯ appeared on the dash 5 to 8 seconds before the steering went out.

There has been an unusual tingling noise (example: tapping sound of an aluminum tin pan) coming from the rear driver left and passenger right sides of the body pillar panels.the sound is noticed while driving on rugged pavement and also with increased speed on the pavement.service records can be furnished of multiple visits to the dealer addressing my concern/complaint, but there has been no satisfactory resolve.moss brothers has been very generous in making accommodations (loaners, dollar incentives) for me while my vehicle was being diagnosed and kept under their care, but i also have a complaint about how dealer surveys are structured. Please note for the record, i have completed and submitted to the dealer many surveys giving them praise for their service, only because i had to pick and choose which battle i wanted to fight to get what i needed to have done.there were a few times where praise was in order but more times when it was not.one time when i wrote a complaint last year, i was verbally scalded in a phone conversation about that and was told that all they did to assist with loaner provisions, that my negative survey affects the dealership's rating and employee bonus/recognition.i felt at that moment, "voiceless" and like their "unwanted step-child". With that said, i tread gingerly on how my real opinion is expressed when completing dealer surveys now.i would love to continue buying buick vehicles as this is my second buick lacrosse that i have purchased from moss brothers, but i feel there is much work yet to be done to improve the integrity of how surveys are structured so as to not jeopardize the customer's loyalty to the brand, assistance services being provided and dollar incentives being given to keep customers as a satisfied and long-term customer.

The contact owns a 2014 buick lacrosse. While driving 65 mph, the front passenger side fender guard was loose. A screw attached to the guard fell off and caused the rear passenger side tire to flatten. The tire was replaced. The contact took the vehicle to corning chevrolet buick (2087 solano st, corning, ca 96021, (530) 838-4371) where they re-screwed the fender guard. Since the repair, the failure recurred and caused the entire passenger side fender guard to detach. The contact stated that the driver's side fender guard recently began to loosen and was hanging off the vehicle. The contact cut the part off of the vehicle to prevent potential damage. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 25,000.

Car rolled away, and the back of car(trunk, lights) were smashed.

Gm used magnetic ride control front and rear shocks in this 2014 model year buick lacrosse.they have failed, seized up at 63,000 miles. Due to the failure of the shock (stiffness) this will lead to undue damage to tires, rims, steering and suspension components which in turn could lead to catastrophic mechanical failures, property damage and bodily injuries.replacement cost is close to $4000 with oem parts.

Purge valve shutting off vehicle..dealership claim they replace rotors but lied..i have replace on both side turning signal mirror 4xs..back lights are always getting water in them seal keep breaking.

Vehicle will not start when brake was depressed and start button pressed.this has happened numberous times and the battery in the remote control had been replaced.

Was stopped at a traffic light, turned right onto a bridge just 15 to 20 feet and the forward collision alert locked up braking system.there were no cars in front of me or behind me at that time (thankfully, because it would have caused a crash).the bridge is constructed of steel and also has a steel road bed.

Intermittent issues with the engine accelerating when the brakes are applied - i.e. When applying brakes at a stop sign the engine tachometer indicates that the engine is running up to 2000 rpm. The only way to get it to decrease is to let foot off brake pedal and reengage it. This has been noticed when the engine is cold and even warm. The insurance monitor registers it as a "hard braking" event. As i stated it is intermittent and has registered 7 hard braking events in 978 miles. Dealership states that until it gets to be consistent that they can't address it.....i am escalating with them as of today - 01/04/16.

Car in motion on city street came to a stop at a traffic light and car shut down when tried to put gas pedal it made a loud noise and did not want to start up but finally started. This is on going for months and the dealership can't find anything wrong.

The contact owns a 2014 buick lacrosse. While approaching a stop sign at 20 mph, the brake pedal was depressed, but the vehicle independently accelerated to approximately 45 mph without warning. The contact was able to depress the brake pedal in order to stop the vehicle. The contact stated that the failure was experienced several times. The vehicle was taken to betten baker buick (2901 28th street, grandville, michigan 49418, (616) 530-9191) where a diagnostic test was performed, but was unable to locate a failure code. However, the dealer found that the throttle body was sticking along with carbon build up. The throttle body and sensor were replaced. The manufacturer was notified and provided the contact with case number: 84363184708. The failure mileage was 46,017.

I was stopped at a red light when my vehicle accelerated forward and i was almost hit by several carsacross the intersection. I stepped harder on the brake and managed to stop my vehicle although the engine was revving very high. I managed to find an opening in traffic and pulled over. I turned the car off and restarted it. The rpm's were even higher now(over 5000). I immediately turned it back off and called the dealership. I was told it was unsafe to drive and to have it towed to the dealership. I had it towed and was just informed by the service manager at the dealershipthat there is no recall for this issue ( which is an accelerator sensor). I think this could have been very serious. I am even more outraged because of the fact that my daughter was in the car with me. I hope you can you can please look into this matter before there are any fatalities somewhere because ofbuick's negligence( i have reported this occurrenceto buick support).

In warm weather evenings condensation forms on outside of front window. Buick service states manufacturing/design defect and only solution is to keep windshield wipers running as cannot see through front window. Really lame correction as my other vehicles did not have this problem

The contact owns a 2014 buick lacrosse. While driving approximately 45 mph, the sun roof exploded. There were no injuries. The vehicle was taken to bentley buick gmc (2120 drake ave sw, huntsville, al 35805) where the cause of the failure was undetermined. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The approximate failure mileage was 24,850.

Factory wheel rims constantly loose air at the edge/ need of the rims.after attempts to resolve the problem had failed. Some research, apparentlythis is a common issue with these factory rims. The issue is, rim material deterioration/ pitting at the tire need area. Adding air every week.why would this not be a safety issue?

While driving on the interstate the tire pressure monitor indicated a low left rear tire. I stopped and added the necessary air and continued driving. In about 10 milesthe monitor indicated that the tire was low again. I stopped as soon as possible to have it checked. Upon inspection i was told that the tire was ok but the wheel had a1 inch hairline crack in the bead area on the inside side of the rim. There was no indication of damage to the wheel or tire or wheel. I feel that this was a defective wheel made in china. This was a gm aluminum 20 inch wheel. This defective could have caused a serious accident. I don't think that i can take a picture that would show the crack.as it is a hairline crack.

Vehicle has 112,000 miles, attempted to replace the tires & was told that the wheels are no good, the chrome is peeling, therefore when the old tires were removed, the chrome fell off, therefor wheels won't hold air! dealer inspected & told me it's out of warranty & the cost would be 4600,00. I'm told this is very common with these wheels! dealer is jim curley, lakewood, nj. Had a second tire shop look at the wheels & they confirmed this problem exists with these wheels!
