Sometimes when i am driving my icon for the airbags is illuminated on my dash, which i suppose means that my air bags are not activated. When i went to andy mohr buick in fishers, in. 46038, i questioned them about it. And they said they did not know what was causing it, and they would have to put it on the analyzer and find out what was wrong and that could cost several hundreds of dollars. So i call gm and they paid for it. I was told that it was the personal body module and would run around $1300. I new about the key recall and thought that might have something to do with it. So i waited until buick fixed my key problem, but the airbag did not go away. Then the next (light recall) came up, which is still not remedied so i do not know if that is not a part of the problem. Since, i bought the car from my elderly neighbor, she said that she complained about it several times to the buick dealer, (andy mohr) and they did not do anything. They told her that whenever it happens to bring the car into the dealership. Well, with all intermittent problems it is very hard for a person to get the car to the dealer while it is happening. And all of these diagnostic charges are very expensive. And if you pay for a repair and then there is a recall, you never get your money back from the manufacture. Read some of your complaints and you will see that i am right, so the poor consumer has to wait and drive an unsafe vehicle until the slow wheels of government finally make the manufacture do the right thing and fix the problem. I am still waiting 8 months for the exterior lighting repair. Does some one have to be killed before we get action.

Returning from a mi trip on pa rt 80, noticed passenger air bag warning light was off.since that time, theair bag light has been intermittently effective (see diagnostic check on dealer billing).recently, deputyadministrator [xxx]has testified a defect was the result of inaccurate suppression read by the air bag module which activates the seat bag.we have been traveling since, unsure the passenger was covered by an active bag.please advise of any information available to assist in identifying this problem.thank you. (dealer... Billing is sent under separate cover)...updated 11-24/14updated 5/1/2015information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

The contact owns a 2007 buick lacrosse. While driving at various speeds, the passenger side air bag warning indicator illuminated. The contact stated that the failure occurred intermittently and had done so on several occasions. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 77,000....updated 02/04/16 the driver seat belt buckle was replaced at the owner's expense.

2007 buick la crosse, 45, 544 miles.intermittent operation and failure of air bag passive restraint system indicator system and indicator lights. Initially, passenger seat light and failure light work intermittently indicating either system failure or trouble and or problem when passenger seat is occupied or vacant. Both dash indicator lights will cycle on and off for occupied or vacant passenger seat.currently the dash indicator light is staying lit red indicating a system fault or failure.user accessible connections and harnesses verified to be connected.no vehicle collisions or incidents.will request diagnostics from buick dealership where purchased.

Airbag light comes on intermittently.this is a safety concern, since appearance of this light may indicate that airbag would not deploy in the event of an impact.the dealership checked the care and cleared the code, and advised to keep an eye on this should the light come back on.i have checked online and this seems to be a pervasive issue with this particular model year and even years following this.in some cases there have been recalls that involved software issues.i spoke with the dealership and they advised that they could change the sensors, but this runs about $2500 and there is no warranty that it would resolve the issue of the intermittent appearance of the airbag light.shouldn't this involve an official recall, since it is such a common problem for this model and shouldn't the manufacturer be researching a solution to ensure driver/passenger safety?

At 3:30pm the driver applied the brakesin a line of cars at about 25 mph. The pedal went to the floorand the brakes failed completely.the car then accellerated independently and struck another car in front. Road was wet, slight grade.the 2007 buick was a total loss.

The contact owns a 2007 buick lacrosse. While driving at various speeds, the air bag indicator flashed on and off on the front passenger side. The vehicle was taken to van buren buick gmc (866-223-5291, located at 2257 jericho turnpike, garden city park, ny 11040) where the air bag module was replaced. The failure recurred and the part was replaced again by the same dealer. The failure recurred again. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that the vehicle was too old and had too many miles. The vehicle was repaired at the owner's expense. The failure mileage was unknown.

Takayuki inflator so. Airbag warning light comes on most of the time while driving. Took to dealer twice and told nothing wrong or airbag could fail. Nothing was fixed.

My wife is handicapped has had multiple back surgeries and needs to sit on a cushion on the passenger side of the vehicle. When she sits on a cushion the airbag light says the airbag is not on. The vehicle was taken to palm auto mall buick in 2010 where they replaced the sensor in the seat.it still says that the airbag is off when she sits on the cushion. I contacted gm in spring of 2012 and was told that there was nothing they could do to remedy the problem. This is very dangerous if in fact the airbag is off.

The seat belt light for the passenger seat come on intermittently with or without anybody sitting in the seat. When this happens when someone is sitting in the seat the air bag light switches from on to off.

Airbag flash red light on dash, charged $1,248.53 to replace passenger presence module kit 19258129.

When the vehicle is started the red airbag light comes on and will not go off. Occasionally when there is a passenger and the passenger airbag light comes on the red airbag light will go off. It is my concern that the airbag will not deploy when it should or it will deploy when it shouldn't. I am very concerned about this. The car has never been wrecked and the airbags have never been deployed. This all happens either stationary and/or in motion.

The contact owned a 2007 buick lacrosse. While driving approximately 3 mph, the contact's vehicle was struck by another vehicle. The air bags deployed. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to an independent body shop. The contact stated that puncture wounds were present and were believed to be metal fragments from the air bags. The vehicle was destroyed. The manufacturer was not notified. The approximate failure mileage was 70,000.updated 07/12/16*ljupdated 07/19/16.

Intermittent air bag warning light goes on and off for passenger seatwhether or not the seat is occupied.this has continued for two years. On-star failure code is always b0092. I took the buick to a dealer who attempted to fix it twice without luck. The thridtrip for a "fix" would have cost me $ 1,200 without any guarantees. It still is in use but i now keep my fingers crossed. This happens when parked or driving.

The airbag warning light comes on while the car is traveling indicating the airbags are malfunctioning. It comes on and off intermittently. I brought in to the dealer and they cleared the malfunction code and it happened again. They want to change the sensor under the seat for $1250 since it is not covered by warranty. It seems to occur when the car is in motion going either up or down an incline.

The contact owns a 2007 buick lacrosse.the contact stated that the air bag sensory light does not illuminate when the front passenger seat was occupied.the passenger in the seat weighed 98 pounds.the manufacturer stated that there wasno weight standard in order for the air bags to deploy or light to illuminate.the frontal air bag sensors were replaced, but still failed to activate.the air bag light illuminates when passengers with a greater weight are seated.the current and failure mileages were 871. While driving at night, all of a sudden the headlights will turn off leaving you travelling along the highway at 60to 75 mph (depending on what type of highway, interstate or limited access roadway you are on). This leaves you moving with no idea where there is a safe place to pull over to get out of the travel lanes. This has occurred numerous times, and i am asking to be reimbursed for the expense of repairing this defect.

Night highway driving the low beam headlights suddenly go out. Bad. High beams are ok. Fog lights are ok fortunately so i could drive home safely. Turn signals normal. Only the low beam headlights appear to be affected. They resumed working the next vehicle use, the next day. Updated 9/19/13 updated 09/24/2013

You are driving down the road at night and for no reason the headlights go out. You hit the high beams and in a few minutes they go out. Had this car to the dealers at least 4 times and they keep replacing the relay and a month or two later it does the same thing. We have a lot of dark roads here in ohio and you can be coming into a curve and the lights go out. You can't see a thing. Gm claims they don't have a permanent fix for the problem.

We were 60 miles from home having dinner.got in the car after dark to come home, started it and no headlights.low beam headlights failed to come on whether by auto or manual switching them on. We had high beam but no low beam or daytime running light.this is very dangerous. It is our only vehicle for daily driving.we need this repaired under the 12-1-2014 recall from buick.

Panel lights began to go out one at a time in 2009.the low beam head lights went out one at a time; when replaced , both went out at the same time.after that both high beams went out at the same time and had to be replaced.the driver's door handle has broken twice in18 months.the transmission began to slip afterthat.the driver seat belt light often remained on while seat-belt is connected. While traveling ona wet road i attempted to brake prior to a water puddlewhen the car slid sideways off the road into a soggy-bog and spun 2.5 times in a circle in app. 12" of mud before it stopped, and had to be towed out.presently, the abs service lights remain on, the clock and radio lights are out, the cd player does not function at all,the seat belt light may come on in transit unprovoked, going on and off for the duration of the trip.if cruise control is not turned off when parked the gas needledrops as if there is a leak.if there areno other recalls on this car, there should be!

I have had problems with my low beam headlamps for a couple of days now not turning on at night or they begin to flicker on and off causing me to drive with my high beams on.. But today i smelled an electrical fire as i parked and exited my car and saw smoke coming from under the hood and it turns out the relay for the headlamps was burning and melted. I removed it but it caused damage to the other relays next to this one and melted the actual fuse center. I haven't checked for possible damage to other components of my car yet but i will in the morning... This looks to be a common problem with this make of vehicle and still no recall has been made..

Headlights went out while driving - known issue and recall with gm.car would not start, though battery was dead.went to jump car and found out fuse box and wiring harness was melted like it caught fire.numerous sites are showing complaints about this same issue, melting, and electrical issues.car was parked the night before and was not started or moved prior to this issue being found.

While driving at night both headlights failed to work without warning headlight relay failed several incidents posted on line.after arriving at work was unable to exit the vehicle because both inside and outside door handles failed to open the door. Car is currently at a body shop attempting to open the door.

Was driving at night, vehicle lights went dim, then out completely. Pulled over to side of road. Smelledfire, opened hood, smoke coming from fuse block / box under hood. I was getting off of work and as i tried to open my car i noticed the remote wasn't work. As i approached my vehicle i smelled something burnt. Figured it was coming from the alley.i noticed my windshield wipers were up. I manually opened the car and it smelled worse of burnt. Noticed that nothing was working inside my vehicle. I call security to come and help me and as we open the hood it smelled just as bad. We noticed that the fuse box had a melted hole in it. Once it opened several fused were burnt. I have read that several people have had the same issue. I wish u let us upload pictures of this incident. What if while driving my car had caught on fire or something worse could have happened to me or my child.luckily i was out of my vehicle when this problem occurred. This issue has to be looked at. Now i have to tow my car out of my work garage pay for that and then pay for my vehicle to get fix which we should definitely get reimbursed for it because it's obvious that this is a recurring issue that has not been fixed. It can turn out to be a big law suit against buick. I had the same issue also with the headlights. I would be driving at night and out of no where my lights would just shut off. Had to replace that also. . .updated 07/21/15updated 11/9/2015

The low beams on this vehicle had been flickering on and off at night for a few days. Then the low beams would not come on at all on the night of december 2, 2012, high beams worked but the smell of burning plastic filled the car and i immediately shut off the engine. Upon inspection i found one of the relays, presumably the low beam relay, burned and melted inside the fuse block causing a small fire inside the fuse compartment which fortunately contained the fire but destroyed the entire fuse panel (block). This appears to be a well documented and common problem on the 2007 buick lacrosse and yet there is no recall. This is a top tier safety concern as it is only a matter of time before there is a fatality associated with this safety issue. I had the car repaired at a buick dealer for a total of $616.15. This type of failure should not happen on a vehicle of this age or mileage, yet i am reading that i am not the only person to experience this same exact issue. I am researching all claims and considering aclass action lawsuit to have this problem corrected. I feel as though gm owes me my $616.15 back and should correct this issue via a mass vehicle recall.

He took the vehicle to his local mechanic, where he was informed he was very fortunate the vehicle did not catch on fire, because the fuse box had melted and the wires had burned. Who are we kidding with this recall? (nhtsa 14v355, gm 14299)correcting a faulty ignition switch with an extra key ring and a paper to add to the owner's manual is a lawyer's solution.is this a design defect, or is it not?why is it not adequate?1) it does not insure that the weight of the keys will not cause shutdown. It only makes it a little less likely.2) in a year's time, even the current owner's will have forgotten the solution.even if it's in the car's manual, does anyone ever actually read the manual end-to-end?. Let alone rereading it regularly to refresh their knowledge?it's only there, if at all, for reference.3) how many second owner's even get the manual?how many will get keysets with the extra ring? my experience is few, if any, subsequent owners will have any reminder of this recall.let's get serious and be responsible. If there is a design or manufacturing safety defect, then fix it!deflecting liability to the owner is horse-pucky!

A improperly shielded wire grounded out and caused the under hood fuseblock to melt, some reports on line state that the car caught on fire from the same problem. Came out of restaurant and car wouldn't start.when the hood was raised we could smell burning rubber.had i been driving it could have been very seriousreported to gm to tryto get reimbursed.said because it wasn't on recall that they could not help us.the purpose of the fuse box as we understand is to prevent this from happening.

My wife was taking her father to the hospital when she the low beam headlights were to come on they did not. She had to drive the rest of the way with only her parking lights on. This is not the first time this has happened in 2013 we had to replace a relay under the hood in the fuse box for the same issue. This time we took it into our local parts shop to replace the relay and found out that the fuse box had melted together and have had it towed to be repaired, this was on a 2007 buick la cross. Driving a distance of three miles car stalled five times. Started again each time dealership sold me a new battery three days later--acceleration quit, going down the road in heavy traffic. I engaged the accelerator with no response. Able to pull over and turn off key and then start again and proceed. Dealership told me that the computer showed no problem with the car. Two days later the car stalled in my mobile home park, started then stalled and wouldn't start. When i tried to start the car it wouldn't. Then when i tried to start again and released the key, the starter grabbed the key and kept grinding momentarily. Then when i tried to start it the starter clicked as if it were gone. I parked it for the night and called aaa in the morning. The car started right up and was driven on to the truck.. I was told i needed two parts a starter and something else. That was on monday. It's thursday now andi'm waiting for another part. I was told the dimmer switch had shorted out and had been affecting the whole system. It is now thursday afternoon and my part has been snowed in . There is none to ber had in the whole city of tampa florida! i am a snow bird and am thankful i wasn't on the road to michigan when this happened. Losing acceleration and/or stalling in heavy traffic is a very dangerous situation. By the way i didn't trust the century buick dealership i had the aaa garage work on it this time. It cost me $300. The first time ) the second $0.but with no results. Now i'm in it for more that $400.00. Merry christmas.*ln

A few times the headlights went out . Driving on two lane road once was close to head on accident.i did extensive testing to find that the hdm low beam head light relay manufactured by i think delphi was the problem . I went to auto supply bought the heaviest duty relay i could find . I replaced it an problem was solved . This was back in may of 2014 . Then in january 2015 i received recall for this problem . I have contacted g.m. Several times . I read where they state if you have paid for the repair they will reimburse owner for the repair . This is black and white plain and simply . I submitted form , receipts , ect . According to their requirement on the recall letter . Does not say i have to wait for several more letters or several years it is on their recall letter .everything they asked for to the standards . While on vacation message to call . After many calls again i was told i have to wait for second recall letter to get reimbursed . She stated i have to take it to dealer . Why so i can have another defective relay installed . Not going to happen just reimburse me for the claim i submitted . I can't return a one year old relay that is far better than their defective relay .they can't figure a remedy out yet . It has been a year now and i am still waiting to be reimbursed because i did not receive the second recall notification because they can't figure this out . Driving a car at night without headlights is not safe and neither is putting one of their defective relays back in it . This relay has been noted to not only fail , but it can melt causing wire harness to melt at a replacement cost to approach $ 2,000 and an possibly an engine fire and that cost very high or vehicle replacement . Just pay me the money owed ...

My low-beam headlamps went out on january 9, 2015, which i was not aware of until a police officer pulled me over indicating to me that i had no headlights.i had to drive home with my high beams on. I had to leave work early all last week in order to get home before dark.i went on line yesterday and typed in my make model and year of my vehicle and found out that there is a recall for my type of vehicle for the headlamps.contacted buick and was informed that they can not fix this problem yet because there is no "official" recall for this problem.this is a danger when someone's headlights go out all of the sudden while you are driving at night; this could cause a major accident which could involve lives.they informed me i have to wait to get the "official" notice before they can fix the problem or i can bring in my vehicle and have it looked and fixed at my expense.this is a serious problem and should be taken care asap by buick at their expense, not the expense of the driver of the vehicle informing them that this problem has already occurred?please look into this matter and let me know how soon can i get this problem fixed.thank you.

The car was driven on the freeway. Smell of something burning coming from the hood area. Take the next exit, smoke start coming out of the hood. Stop the car check the hood and the underhood fuse block was burning. The whole fuse is damaged so is the engine harness. It looked like the headlamp driver module and the fog lamp micro-relays were the ones that melted first and cause the fuse box to burn. I couldn't figure out why the fuse box just burned that's why i started looking online if someone else has the same problem. It seems a few people has the same problem. I guess there are unreported cases as well. Something should be done before someone get hurt because it looks like this is a problem the 2007 buick lacrosse has. The car has not been fixed yet.

We were stopped at a red light and the car just died.we called aaa and before they got there the car started up again.then we received a recall notice from gm (recall #14299).since parts are not available according to the letter we removed everything from the keychain leaving only one single key as instructed.however, our car again died on august 21, 2014 but after a few minutes started up again.today, august 31, 2014 our buick died again in the left turn lane stopped at a red light.we had to be towed home by aaa because it would not start again.this is unacceptable!!we are an 80 year old couple and we only have this one car for transportation.we cannot keep worrying about our car everytime we drive it, much less the dangers of having an accident when it stalls in the most unexpected places and times.we need a rental car to use until gm can get these parts.i don't think that i am asking too much.

Brakes pulsate when braking. Car vibrates while driving and also has a desire to pull to right. Feels likes wheels are out of balance all the time. I have taken the car in and had the balance checked and they say everything is fine. They say it is the make of the tires and goodyear is aware - they have made a goodwill replacement of the tires due to history of my car.... The engine blew at 1500 miles!!! still no better. Every day i get my fillings rattled loose on the way to work.the pull to the right was fixed when the replaced the steering intermediate shaft - but i had to go back because the dealer did not do front end alignment after replacing the steering shaft "not necessary - it's not the standard practice with the job" when they finally put in on the machine, it was out of toe by .18 degrees. I am still working on getting the brakes fixed. Last time they turned them due to "hard spots". When i go back for the inspection in nov. I have to have them work on them again.this time i will fight to have the rotors replaced as i am terrified that i won't stop when i apply my brakes because the pulsating has gotten that bad.

I went to my mechanic. He was able to get a temp hmd replacement part in about 3 days. He installed the temp replacement part and explained to me what happened to the disfunctioning hdm. That was in 07/2014.my buick was in the recall for the hdm malfunction. Upon receiving the recall letter, i took my buick to the dealership and was informed there were no replacement parts available at that moment. I should check back or receive a phone call from the dealership when said part would be available. I explained that the part was replaced prior to the gm recall. The recall notice was on 01/2015 from global vehical safety in milwaukee, wi. As far as the dealership, i never heard anything back from them. On 10/27/2015, i submitted a reimbursement claim for out of pocket pay according to the instructions stated on that form, to the dealership. After 3 months of no response from the dealership, i went in and talked to them directly. They stated that a perm replacement part was not available yet so my claim would not be processed until gm annouced a part was available and a second letter was mailed to me. Another 2 months passed and no calls or letters from gm or the dealership. I went in directly to the dealership again and they said they have to wait for an "official" authorization from gm to start the claim process. I feel as if gm and the dealership are not working on this matter to the fullest or even any effort to resolve this situation. It's funny yet sad that my mechanic replaced the hdm in roughly 5 day or so, which by the way, is still performing perfectly fine. Yet this major auto company(gm) cant resolve this issue with the hdm part. Really?!someone needs to take a closer into this situation. I ,personally, feel as if gm and the dealership are trying to turn away from this "major" problem so many are effected by.(update-mrs allai passed away 11/2015. I am her son)

In early december 2014, the low-beam headlights stopped working permanently. Replacing the hdm module does no rectify the situation and the fuses and lamps are in good working condition. I have been driving 7 months with high-beams only, which endangers other drivers and puts me at risk of head-on collision. Other people have indicated their cars have burned because of this situation. I first noticed gm's public acknowledgment of the defect in december, but nearly 7 months later, they have neither notified me nor announced a way to fix the problem. While driving down the highway one night the low beams suddenly went out. I was force to use the high beams until i could pull over. Inside the car i could smell something burning, something electrical. Once i pulled over i notice smoke coming from under the hood and that the fuse block under the hood was on fire, which hold fuses and relays. The two relays that was affected were the low beam and high windshield wiper, so they no longer work.

Low beam headlights can go out at any time while driving. Started happening about 7/2013. Would only drive during day/ had module replaced a year ago when recall notice came out and had lights for a about 6 months with no problem. Was driving going around a corner a couple of months ago, lights went out and i went into ditch causing a bad fender dent and breaking my windshield. Lights can come and go at any time. Thank god, no one was hurt. This could be a major problem. You can use brights, but that would cause blinding the oncoming traffic.

I have a 2007 buick lacrosse that i understand has been under recallsince sep 2015for bad headlights which may cause the headlights to stop operation at any time.has the nhtsabeen monitoring the problem and why has it taken so long for general motors to correct the problem?thanks and have a nice day.

While driving at night, the headlights will turn off. You are left driving blind at full speed. It has happened a number of times. I took it to the garage and they could not duplicate the issue so they were not able to fix it. With winter coming on and sunset happening earlier each day, the amount of time driving in the dark increases. This is unsafe for myself and other drivers that may not see me due to my headlights going off all of the sudden.

I was driving on interstate at night 65 mph and my headlights automatically went off. They would not come back on. I drove with high beams until i could get off an exit. Sat there and tried to get them on...no luck. Finally they came back on and 15 minutes later they went off again. I had to drive home with my high beams on for 35 minutes. Took it in to gm certified service dept. And they said there was nothing wrong with the low beams. Driving home from service dept, they went out again !!!!!! what is the problem with this?. Very very dangerous and cannot drive my car because i am not sure when the lights will go out....thunderstorms, night time, snow, etc....i need my low beam lights !!!! i am calling the service dept. Again tomorrow and demanding they fix this problem before i have a serious accident !!!!!!!!!

On july 20 i filed a report with the iowa attorney general. I next received a letter dated july 27 from the iowa attorney general that all my information had been sent to the nhtsa. Today i checked with the nhtsa to get an update on what is happening. They said that they do not have any record on my problem. This is the second time it has happened to me. My headlights quit working. The first time it was not as dark and i caught it . My husband took it to sims buick on elm rd. Where we purchased it. They said there was no recall on it, but we new there was. My husband paid for the new module and put it in. This time it took place on tues. Mar. 29 and 8:30 pm in the dark.i had 3 girls i was taking home from work and my headlights went out. Almost hit someone along the road and there was traffic coming at me. Thakfully the girls guided me into a driveway. My brights worked to get me and the girls home. My husband checked again and was told there was no recall or fix. He bought the module and replaced it himself. Thank god we were safe. But you need to figure it out before someone gets hurt. And make sure your dealers get the information.

I understand this is not the first time this has happenedthis type of vehicle and i believe it should be repaired by the dealer and a safety recall started.

I was having intermittent headlight issues with my car, i would drive and the headlights would randomly shut off, i would pull over and they would come back on about 3 minutes later. I did some research and tried replacing the headlight relay, this seemed to fix the problem for about 2 weeks. On the night of april 13, i was at the mall and when returning to my car, it wouldn't start. I had the car jumped and the fuse box caught on fire. The headlight relay had melted and destroyed my fuse box. I had my fuse box replaced and again, everything was fine for about 2 weeks, when i started getting the intermittent issue again. Last night, may 1st, my car again died. This time, all fuses and relays were removed before jump starting my car, but you can look at the relay and see that it has been melting once again. I've researched online and can't find a proper fix for this. The relay has been replaced and it's not fixing the problem.

I was driving back from georgia at 4:30 am pitch dark and my headlamps cut off. I was next to a semi and almost crashed into him.

The low beam headlights on our lacrosse stay on even when the ignition is off. We have to pull the fuse or disconnect the battery to turn them off. The high beam headlights and brake lights don't work at all. Not sure what the issue could be and we cannot drive the car with out brake lights.

My low-beam headlamps went out on january 9, 2015, which i was not aware of until a police officer pulled me over indicating to me that i had no headlights.i had to drive home with my high beams on. I have a clunking sound coming from the steering wheel/shaft assemble when turing either direction or when hitting a bump. There is a buick tsb that describes the problem for the 2005-2007 years and the parts were upgraded in 2008 to fix the problem. Buick will not replacethe part free but i notice that this is a common problem for these years. There doesn't appear to be any sort of recall, or least i don't see any on line and i have not been notified. The dealership wants $250 to replace the needed parts.

Original owner of a 2007 buick lacrosse cxl. Power steering pump failure at around 85,000 miles. Power steering pump failed because of leaking hoses. Primary reason for leak is due to lines incorrectly crimped around the metal line that adheres to rubber hose. Lines cannot withstand pressure and start leaking intermittently until they completely fail. I have replaced power steering pump and rack and pinion due to faulty lines damaging the whole system. I have seen many instances online about people having to replace a couple months later after initial replacement. This is a manufacturers defect of power steering lines that are out on the market. Another issue is the clunking sound that is coming from the steering column.

Noise like rubbing sound coming from steering column area. Steering gear was replaced once, probably two years ago and now making same sound as before. The tires have been replaced repeatedly on this vehicle and it still feels like it is hopping or walking instead of rolling. This occurs most prominently in the morning at startup and will continue up to 50 mph and beyond. The mechanics will not recognize the problem and have not been able to get authorization from gm regional to do anything other than charge a fee for further diagnosis. This problem existed from the time the vehicle was purchased and the dealerships share information and will not independently diagnose the problem. I have requested gm and buick to provide a mechanic that is familiar with this problem and can resolve it, but they refuse to act. I am not at all happy with the performance of the vehicle and was under the belief that the dealership and buick or gm would make it right. I will not recommend either the dealership or gm or buick to anyone. I do not own another car so i have spent many days without a vehicle during diagnosis and repairs and cannot tolerate sitting for 4-6 hours in the dealership or going without transportation will this is addressed.

While driving on the highway in the rain, my headlights went out. I was terrified. Turning the switch on and off would not fix the problem. I took the car to the dealership. They said they could not duplicate the problem and would not fix it. I had taken the car to the dealership shortly after purchase in 2009 and had complained of leaking seal on the top edge of the driver's side door in the rain. Water would drip all over my left arm, shoulder and arm rest. They said they could not duplicate the problem and would not fix it. Now the headlights will refuse to work on an intermittent basis. The dealership will not fix it. The dash reads headlights suggested but they will not come on. I can use the dimmer on the steering column and the bright lights will work, but driving with bright lights into oncoming traffic is dangerous. I need to have a dealer fix this problem. I took the car through a car wash for the first time the other day and the lights have been acting up again. Please have someone contact me and authorize repairs at the dealership. I am afraid to drive even a short distance at night not knowing when my headlights will suddenly go out again. It has happened several times now. It really scares me and concerns me that a dealership would not repair the problem.updated 09/10/13*ljthe consumer also stated there was a noise coming from the steering, a squeaking noise coming from the dash area, and water would drip through the top door, every time it rained. Also, there was a vibration issue, so the dealer replaced the tires, but it didn't resolve the issue.

1.the door locks work intermittently with or without the key fob. The interior button as well as when put into drive or park does not always engage or unlock. I had it looked at and was informed it is the door lock actuators that are faulty and need to be replaced in all 4 doors. 2.the windshield washer fluid does not work at all. The washer motor does not run and needs to be replaced.

Control arm bushing failed, causing the control arm to grind into the sub frame of the car. The sub frame is aluminum and was damaged very quickly. This issue gave no indication and only became apparent under visual inspection while the car was being serviced for another complaint. The sub frame could fail completely causing steering suspension and brakes to fail.

I own a 2007 buick lacrosse cxl. It has had a vibration in it since it was delivered. I drove it until it had 2,300 miles on it to see if the tires would even out, but they did not, so i took the car in and the dealer balanced the wheels . The vibration was lessened, but still there. I added air to all the tires to a pressure of 30psi cold and this helped but did not eliminate the vibration which seems to be in the rear tires. I put my concerns on the dealer performance form and was contacted bya buickrepresentative who assigned me a confirmation number and said the concern would be looked at by buick, but he could offer little in the way of remedy. I currently have 2,900 miles on the vehicle.

Front stabilizer bar is cracked on both sides where the bolts from the lower control arm go though the stabiliser bar.car has never been in a accident, has 130,000 miles, never been off road.happened to notice it while replacing brake pads

While making a right hand turn i heard a pop noise simultaneously vehicle dipped harshly with the handling and steering control compromised.after inspection the fractured and broken sway bar was discovered. Sway bar ends cracked both sides with right side completely severed.car was used in normal driving conditions-mechanic suggested i report this safety issue because this should not happen.

Vibration from front of car. Beento dealer eddie wiggens of warner robins ga several times.they replaced the tires. Last time gave response that vibration was within their specifications as gmc.also, gave the same answer to the problem.
