The air bag light illuminated.the consumers extended warranty will not cover the repair.*nlm

I am submitting this on behalf of my father. Was involved in an accident in which his driver side air bag didn't deploy. Not sure whom the manufacture of the air bag is . According to the police report my dad was at fault. See pictures he basically pulled out on a 4- lane road and was hit by a vehicle traveling the opposite direction. The impact of thecrash waspretty much driver's side headlight to drivers side headlight. I can not download photo's because they are 5.3 mb..the accident location was jackson, ky

The front inside corner of the passenger air bag was elevated slightly. Within a few months of purchase the consumer visited the dealer and ask if the cover could be fastened down. The dealer didn't know how to fasten the cover down.*dt*nlm

Air bag light constantly stayed on.

Vehicle went over a dip inroad and air bags deployed.

Dt*: the contact stated that on june 28, 2006, the safety air bag warning light illuminated. The light remained on for three days.the vehicle was taken to the dealership and the harness which is under the driver seat was broken and needed to be replaced. The dealer has to order the parts and the vehicle will need to be returned to the dealer for repair.

I was in a serious car accident when i was visiting n. Myrtle beach, s.c. A driver ran a red light and hit me on the drivers side going about 60 mph. The car was totaled. I had to be cut out of the car. The steel bar in the door probably saved my life but the side air bag did not deploy which could have prevented my head from hitting the bar between the two doors and i gashed my head besides all the other problems with being hit like that. I notified the browns buick people when i returned from s.c. And asked them why or didn't it have a side air bag. My sales rep. Godfrey , the sales manager, the finance manager wre all told and i aksed where the air bag should have come out. I bought a replacement vehicle same make model but a 2001. I asked my salesperson, godfre to show me where the air bag should come out on the drivers side. He showed me where. I told him againg and the sales manager but mine did not go off. I was suffering and did not push. I left and did not think about it again until later. I called the buidk headquaters and asked them about it but told them the car saved my life since the steel bar was in the door. I thought i'd tell you this cause i just discovered there was a recall. I was never notified about any recalls. I am upset with them right now about another problem with my 2001 buick which i just wrote you another complaint. I feel that you should know this. I said something to them again today at browns and headquaters and they generally are dismissing me. I spoke to ted iback at browns and mr. Peres at headquarters. I told them they should be concerned about peoples safety and that they should have reported it to someone to take care of the problem when i told them in nov. Of 2000 when i bought the replacement vehicle. Thanks for listening.

While traveling 30mph consumer was involved in a front end collision in whichdriver's side and passenger's side airbags failed to deploy. Dealer has yet to be contacted. Please provide further details.

Drivers side air bag was not connected properly. Dealer informed the consumer that the electrical connection was defective. Manufacturer will be informed of the problem.

The contact owns a 2000 buick century. While driving approximately 55 mph the vehicle suddenly stalled. The fuel gauge does not function properly; therefore, the contact was unaware if the vehicle stalled due to a lack of fuel. The contact was only able to restart the vehicle by jump starting it.the failure occurred approximately twelve times. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where the battery was replaced; yet,the failure continued to occur. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 110,000.

Dt: the contact stated after parking vehicle and turningit off the air conditioner fan keptrunning. She had the vehicle towed to a dealership. Repairs were made to the vehicle.currently, the vehicle hadexterior lighting defects.the lights will come on intermittently. The vehicle is at the dealership, and they are unable to duplicate the problem with the exterior lighting. The manufacturer has been contacted. Updated 01/11/06.

Bought 2000 buick century and like many other complaints on the list i have repaired the manifold, water pump, fuel filter at 83,000.i have experienced the whinning and hard shifting the entire time i owned the car.i had intermittent dash light failure which is real dangerous since you can't see the speedometer or anything on the dash.my brakes have failed to brake and i went out into traffic - luckily no accident and there was a median i could steer into!i haven't had a working gas gauge for years.last night going 70 mph i felt 3 chugs and lost power.again luckily i was at a freeway exit and could coast off the freeway.so my 3 most expensive bills (and none of the problems have been solved -$1800. For brake calipers, rotors and pads.$1100 for wire set, manifold set, fuel filter and water pump.$350 for headlamp switch and dash light problems.i am putting no more money into this car and up until last night i was looking for a buick but never again.i didn't put the mileage down when these incidents happened because the symptoms are ongoing!!!it looks like 1000's of complaints have been ignored through the years and the brake issue as well as shutting down going 70 mph are both safety issues which should have been addressed in a recall many years ago!!!i am devastated by the facts i learned researching the computer last night.i am on a fixed income and now without a car too.what reports do i believe when shopping for a new car??????down below where you date the incident luckily i can say no to all of the questions (but by the grace of god!)

The electronic odometer and automatic transmission display has gone completely dark.with indicator dark, the following are impossible to determine on the vehicle.a) automatic transmission indicator - for vehicles where the transmission shift lever is mounted on the steering column (like mine),other than counting the number of clicks of the transmission lever up or down, the vehicle operator has no idea if the vehicle is in drive, neutral or reverse.this is a major safety hazard because the vehicle operator may inadvertently leave the vehicle in neutral or in gear and not know it and leave the vehicle unattended.b) vehicle mileage -- there is no way to determine how many miles the vehicle has been driven.there are numerous instances on the internet describing this problem.

The transmission on my 2000 buick century has a hard shift condition that was diagnosed at 2 different transmission shops as a pressure control solenoid failure that is very common with this car. One of the shops said the problem will reoccur even with replacement of the part unless a shift kit is installed.after researching this issue on line it becomes apparent that the shops are correct in their diagnosis. Why has this issue not been a recall!

The instrument cluster indicating what gear the vehicle is in has quite working.this is a digital l.e.d. Indicator that also displays the vehicles mileage and odometer reading.checked around and five other buicks all had the same issue.you have to guess at thegear you are in and there is no way to tell what the odometer reading is.

The contact owns a 2000 buick century. On several occasions, while driving, the headlights failed to illuminate without warning. Additionally, when the high beam switch was activated, the check engine, abs, and traction control warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The dealer and manufacturer were not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 200,000.

I have a 2000 buick century limited and the transmission harsh shift 1234, when hot and sometimes cold, i know that it needs a new 1234 up shift solenoid and to be inspected for failed parts etc, also the odometer, fuel gauge, and window regulators/motors have failed, the odometer is out and fuel gauge floats and windows have failed due to bad design of motors/regulators and my airbag light is on and each 4t65- e trans and many buick trans like the one above has harsh shift and could cause damage and cause trans to fail. And the problems above will be found in many buick century and gm should fix the issues above for free it is a danger for the trans to fail and odometer/gear shift selectto fail because most people will not know what gear they are in, and the trans could lock and cause a wreck or a huge injury or worst. And the trans 1234 up shift pressure control solenoidnot keeping the right pressure could damage the trans, and even if the trans is bought used it still has this problem and is the same 4t65-e transand gm needs to fix this for free there are many complaints and issue with the 2000 buick century, regals etc with this type of trans. And should be fixed right away before it becomes a costly repair or wreck! and the trans should be checked for any other failures. For free.

Click no start condition happened twice in one day. Waited a little while and tried starting vehicle again and it started. Checked battery, starter and charging systems.

Defective odometer readings, gear indicators disappeared. The odometer reading disappeared, and the gear indicator disappeared on instrument cluster.i have no way to read my odometer, nor do i know what gear i am in, prnd21.now i can accidently be in reverse and not even know it.this is an extremely dangerous situation, and there should be a recall on this.mechanic charges $100.00 to fix, and also states they can insert any odometer reading that i would like to have.this should be illegal.i no longer have a valid odometer reading for my yearly inspections, or if i were to sell my vehicle.i could drive in 1st gear and burn up my transmission and shut down in the middle of the interstate and cause a serious accident or be run over for dead stopped on roads. My instrument panel has not had an accurate fuel guage reading in years, it comes and goes.i have been able to figure out gas usage by mileage, now that is no longer possible.i must fill up weekly just so i know i wont run out of gas.the car only has 55,000 original miles on it.this is just not right.i extremely upset about this and dont know how to get it fixed properly and covered from the dealerships.you should have a lifetime warranty on your odometer reading and knowing what gearyou are in.please advise and look forward to hearing from you concerning this very serious safety issue.

Vehicle exhibited hard transmission shifts and jerking while shifting in traffic.vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and diagnosed with code p1811, which indicates high transmission fluid pressure and solenoid problems.

I drive with my headlights on all the time.the instrument panel illumination dims drastically when the headlights are on.i cannot see thegauges. Although there is a dimmer switch for the instrument panel, the brightest setting is inadequate when the headlights are on.i need to have the automatic dimming feature removed.

The odometer does not light up, not allowing the mileage to show.

2000 buick century with anti lock brake failure**cc the alternator drive belt was replaced.

Consumer complains that the horn is too hard to blow. *jg

Horn location is difficult to find and hard to blow due toair bag installation on steering. When backing up slowly or stopping, brakes make thumping noise.

The horn is difficult to activate, the consumer attempted to warn a driver who was backing up but the horn would not sound resulting in a crash.nlm

Horn does not activate easily. Consumer must depress it very hardand atexact spot. Therefore, in anemergency situation consumer will not be able to activate horn in time , will not be able to warn other drivers ,or avoid accidents.

The vehicle anti theft system on my 2000 buick century keeps failing and has put my family and i in numerous unsafe conditions that may eventually lead to possible injuries.

While inmiddle of an intersection vehicle died. Consumer could not start vehicle because there was no electric power, had towed vehicle to dealer. After an hour, they found a blown fuse. Consumer inquired ofwhat would have happened it this occurred on highwayat 70 mph.the cause for the fuse blow was not known

I keep getting my air bag warning light coming on, the abs, and the check engine soon light, they wont go off. The fuel line that goes into the gas tank /neck leaks when gas gets pumped into it. The odometer mileage display p.r.n.d.l. Wont work and neither will the temperature gauge indicator for the climate control gauge.

The contact owns a 2000 buick century.whenever the contact would park the vehicle in her garage, she would smell hot water coming from the radiator.she did not notice any differences in the vehicle prior to the odor.the vehicle was serviced by a local mechanic, and was never diagnosed by the dealer.the failure mileage was 97,000.updated 08/20/08 the consumer was informed the intake manifold gaskets needed to be replaced, which was a common problem with gm vehicles. Updated 08/21/08

Very hard transmission shifting returning from a long-distance trip / "service engine soon" warning light came on.mechanic reports dtc p1811 error code as well as other error codes.mechanic replaced both tcc solenoid and pressure control solenoid to resolve shifting problem.

Check engine soon light on continuously.

- the contact owns a 2000 buick century custom and complained about the following problems: the lower intake manifold gasket, the thermostat, and water pump. These components had to be replaced because the vehicle was overheating. The rear brake shoes and a leaking cylinder also had to be replaced.the rear drums, and the switch on the driver's side for the power windows where replaced due to possible fire concerns.in addition, the right outer tie rod end on the passenger's side wheel was loose and had to be repaired. Since the vehicle was inherited in 2003 all the aforementioned failures had to be replaced or repaired starting in 2005.the contact spoke with the manufacturer, and they stated they would not reimburse the contact because there was no relationship established with the dealer since the vehicle was purchased.the current mileage was 74,442, and the failure mileage was 64,218. The consumer has provided invoices of services and checked with gm to see if there was a recall on the gasket manifold, however she was informed no recall was issued for that part. Update 05/10/07

The vehicle over heated while driving.the vehicle was taken tot he dealer who stated that the intake manifold broke and caused oil to leak into the cooling system. *nlm

2000 buick century ,3.1head gasket leaks at 50,000 miles.

Air pollution pump failure causing fuse to blow and car to bump when stepping on gas/anti lock control-pressure modulator valve malfunction.

Dealer advised of coolant leak at a lower engine seal. I have since learned that this is a defect related to use of incorrect seals. The seals are eaten by the coolant (dexcool). I was quoted a price of $800 to fix the problem. I feel that this is a manufacturer's defect.

Problems with engine on 2000 buick century.*mrthe vehicle's engine block cracked.

The vehicle experienced the same problem asstated in tsb #020601014, however the dealer refused to correct the problem, because the vehicle identification number was not included.

Service engine light came on and have been experiencing a clunking hesitation when accelerating anywhere from 10 to 45 mph. Took car to dealer on 4/5/04 and service manager went for a test drive with me and he definitely felt the problem.when tech ran computer check he said two codes came back and that the fuel sensor had to be replaced and it was not covered by my extended warranty or the emissions warranty.i had the work done and the service manager said that may have been what was causing the problem and to call if it did not resolve.i drove the car the next day and was still having original problem.they set up appt again to have a tech go with me on another test drive.this was on 4/10/04.the service manager had the shop foreman go with me on a test drive and he also felt the clunking hesitation and said they would run some more tests and that it may be a solenoid related to the transmission.i phoned the dealer on monday afternoon 4/12/04 to see if the diagnosed the problem yet, after being put on hold and then disconnected i called back.this time i got service manager's voice mail and left a message that i was still waiting to hear about my car.no one returned my call.on tuesday afternoon 4/13/04 i phoned the dealer again and then was connected to service manager who then proceeded to tell me that they found a problem and that they drove a few more buick century models that they had on their lot and that the clunking noise was normal for my car but that it was just more pronounced in my car.he then went on to say that they found a leaking manifold gasket , both upper engine mounts loose and the passenger side lower engine mount loose. My 2000 buck century custom has only 36,600 miles. I purchased the car in august of 2003 from the dealer and the mileage was just slightly over 31,000 when i purchased the vehicle.

Our daughter was nearly killed by a driver with their lights off. Many drivers of late model cars are not aware that their lights are off because their dash is lit and their driving lights are on. There are no alerts telling people their lights are off!!!!! our seat belts make noise, if a car door is open it alerts us. I have observed that approximately 10-20% of cars on a street or freeway are driving with their lights off.this is a major problem and needs to be solved. This is the second time i have complained with no result. If there is no action i will be filing a class action lawsuit in the name of my daughter against the ntsb to demand action. Please respond.

Low beam light casts a shadowon both sides when used, causing poor visibility.dealer notified, and unable to locate cause. The consumer states that the head light system was flawed and damages.

The design of the headlight system is flawed because the low beam does not work properly, instead of lighting the road ahead fully the light spreads only to the side end of the front fender on both sides resulting in poor visibility.nlm

Headlights are not positioned or aimed correctly to provide sufficient lighting at a distance when driving at night.please give any further details.

Headlights are so dim thatvehicle is no longer driven at night.dealer has tried adjusting headlights 6 times, and each timeproblem gets worse please provide more information.

Consumer stated that vehicle is unable to switch to low beam and consumer is forced to have high beam on while driving. Dealer notified. Ts

For free.

My car was experiencing an erratic, and harsh upshift when shifting from first, to second, and then to third gear.this problem was due to a faulty pressure control solenoid valve assembly. After investigating i found out that 17 different vehicles have this transmission with the same valve in it, that could have the same trouble.gm has a file on this problem, shtml file=901351

My buick has 90,000 miles on it. I had a problem with the car. The car was jumping into gear. The jumping started very very small in august 2002. Today the jumping is very noticeable. After only driving it, they told me there was some internal transmission problems. Then they hooked my car up to a diagnostic computer and told me the pressure in transmission was low.they told me they were not sure i would be able to drive safely to my next destination. I asked the representatives was the problem under warranty? the representatives said "no."the powertrain had just gone outat 80 thousand miles. Only 10 thousand miles ago. The representatives at sale auto mall encouraged me to go ahead and trade the car. They were sorry but the warranty had expired and they could not replace anything. I asked the representatives how much would it cost me to replace the transmission? they quoted me a price of about $3000. Which would be for a rebuilt one gm would guarantee for 3 years or 50,000 miles.i drove away without letting them fix the car. My complaints are:1.since i kept good service on my car, the car's transmission should have lasted longer than it has---trouble free. Powertrain warranties usually last 5 years/ 100,000 miles not 8 years/80,000 miles.2. When i purchased my buick, i was told by all buick commercials on tvall fluids, like the brake fluid, transmission fluid(dex-traniii), and antifreeze(dex-cool) are guaranteed for at least 100,000 miles. I get the oil changed regularly atevery 3,000 miles. If overheated transmission fluid possibly helped cause this jumping transmission problem, why did general motors market such fluids, as i mentioned, were guaranteed for 100,000 miles?3. Transmissions should not be failing at 90,000 on a car that has been taken care of,that is only 3 years old. *nlm

Automatic transmission starts to whine and shifts irradically after warmup.have done some research and found that this is a common problem with this model's transmission.many complaints on websites.conyacted gm and they said it was to be expected with a vehicke with that many miles, true, but what are the odds of it happening in so many of the same type of car at about the same mileage.something needs to be done to reign gm in with their sorry attitude.

Two hundred miles away from home i started having tansmission problems on my 2000 buick century, limited edition, with 33,000 miles on it. Brought the car brand new and maintained it religiously. Shifting was extremely harsh.did ok going 55 - 65 miles an hour on the freeway.non freeway driving it went back to harsh shifting, whining engine, slow acceleration. Took it in to the dealer next am.was told my car was out of warranty, and that pressure control solenoid valve needed to be replaced to the tune of $750.after talking with the assistant service manager, they agreed to a 50-50 split.however, i feel gm is solely responsible.they were aware of this two years ago.fortunately, i wasn't stranded in the desert in 100 degrees temperature with my young grand children.it is my understanding that gm had issued a bulletin regarding this defective part. The pcs solenoids were made of a softer metal than the hole they ride in after a while they wear and start hanging up. The gm bulletin states, "slips, harshshift or grage shifts, launch shudders, flares, erratic shifts and intermittent concerns, dtc p1811 or po748 set (replace pressure control solenoid valve assembly) #00-07-30-002b-(02/19/2002)."

2000 buick century transmission shifts very hard causing vehicle to lurch. Intermittent problem. After checking online message boards found that this is a fairly common problem in 2000 buick models, and that gm has refused to address the issue or offer a resolutionout of pocket cost of getting a transmission valve and solenoid repaired is about $600. These issues are popping up anywhere between 30k and 80k miles, and these parts are parts that should last the life of the car and never be replaced. Ongoing problem.

I have a 2000 buick century. The transmission started to shift hard at 70000 miles in sept of 2001 and dealer replaced the pressure control solenoid that is located in the transmission.at 99000 miles june,2005,the transmission started doing the same thing and the dealer could not find the problem. I spoke with the sales manager after threatening to go to the owner and the problem was the same solenoid problem. The shop foreman at cambron chevy/buick in tell city, in could replace the part for $575.00 because the warranty had expired. I contacted marama hanset-callies and informed her that i have had this problem in sept of 2001 and that the valve should not be going out. I since have discovered that there are 17-19 other complaints for the same problem. Gm has not corrected the problem on the t65-e transmission. The dealer and hanset-callies have a very that's to bad attitude.

Brake warning light came on after entering interstate highway.lost all brake fluid.had to repair brake line as it was corroded at the bends in the line.

-the contact owns a 2000 buick century. While driving approximately 10 mph the brakes were applied and the vehicle failed to slow down until repeated force was applied to the brake pedal. In addition, there was brake fluid leakage coming from underneath the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where the mechanic stated that the brake lines were corroded and the entire brake lines were replaced. The failure mileage was 95,000. The current mileage was unknown.

On a 2000 buick century the crossover brake line from the abs unit to the right front brake caliper is placed against the sound deadening spongy material on the firewall, held in place with a bracket, directly under the master cylinder. This car lost all brake fluid when the steel brake line rusted through at the point of contact with the spongy material. It appears that on this low mileage car , 21,000 miles, insufficient driving time may lead to any moisture not having enough heat/time to evaporate. This has left constant moisture in contact with this steel pipe.

Dt*: the contact stated while applying slight brake pressure at 5 mph on a city street, the brake pedal went all the way down into the floorboard and the vehicle crashed into the rear of another vehicle without warning.the contact was wearing a seat belt, but minor injuries were sustained.minor damage was sustained to the front of the vehicle.the vehicle was towed to a dealer who determined the brake lines were corroded.the vehicle was exposed to extreme winter weather and road salts.the manufacturer was not notified.a police report was taken.

The contact owns a 2000 buick century. She stated that upon taking her vehicle in for state inspection, it was found that the fuel and brake lines were corroded. Even with occasional rotation, two tires (originally on front, and there presently), have worn extremely poorly on outside.they consistently lose air, though no leak is apparent.they now are exhibiting small cracks.the other two tires still look good and perform well, but these two now feel dangerous at highway speed, and are downright scary on wet pavement.have there been other incidents with these tires?i feel they should hold up better than this, and don't want to become a statistic (i.e. The firestone stories).i drive carefully and take care of my car; this is the only complaint i've had with it. I'm guessing as to cost of replacement tires in the dollar amount of damages.)

Dt:the consumer experienced unwanted acceleration on 2000 buick century. Sporadically, there were super high revs when the vehicle was first started. Then the consumer had to stop the car and restart it again in order for the revving to go to a correct idle speed. The car has been to the dealership 4 times over this problem. This did not happen for the first four and half years. The dealer has replaced the throttle position sensor two times and the computer once. The consumer is still having the unwanted acceleration problem. The dealer can't figure out what the problem is.

Whenever starting vehicle and shifting into gear vehicle would jerk forward or backwards suddenly, even with foot on brake. Due to this sudden acceleration, vehicle was involved in an accident.one person was injured.

2000 buick century, power windows fell down.1st one, and could not get it back up. Next day another fell down when i wasn't in car. Took to dealer and they said a 3rd fell down by it's self. They charged me over $1,300.00,saying each window broke for no reason. A month later, the last window, which had no problem would not go down and still doesn't. No way did 4 windows break all at once.i think whatever controls the windows broke and they didn't fix it and cheated me. Now i have the window on driver's side that will not go down. That makes all 4 power windows broken, one still unfixed.

Windshield wipers work and go through their cycles but do not park and instead stick straight up.this is a visibility hazard and well known by the dealership mechanics in this model century, yet as far as i know, there is no safety recall. I do not feel that i should have to pay for this repair.

Wife went to work and window was up.when she returned the window had fallen inside the door. All windows regulators have failed once for each window. Car only has 70,000 miles on it. When the rear windows of a buick century are wide open and the front windows closed, the car shakes violently, to the extent of causing panic. We tried first one window and then the other, finally both together, and the violent shaking continued. It would be impossible to drive this car even for a few minutes under these conditions. The salesman even took out a brand new car and it acted the same. I have asked friends who have a buickcentury to verify my description, and they all have the same reaction. When i called the manufacturer, i was told it was a design fault and basically told to live with it.

While driving an alamo rental car on july 21, 2000, on i-94 outside of minneapolis, minnesota, the left front window, driver's side, literally exploded in my ear.i was going approximately 60 - 65 mph and what occurred was literally an explosive decompression.the window glass shattered, most going out the window but some fragments entering inside the vehicle.i controlled the vehicle and steered it onto the shoulder where we stopped.because of the tremendous speeds of the other vehicles passing by, i quickly tried to push the excess glass that remained in the doorto feel safe in driving the rest of the distance to the airport.we tried to contact the alamo emergency number - when my travelling companion contacted alamo and told them it was an emergency, she was told to hold on.she did so but was disconnected.we travelled to the aiport below speed limit since the left window was no longer there and there were fragments of glass that,at times, would blow inside .when we reached the alamo rental car agency, they appeared to be little concerned - they said they would contact the manufacturer to determine other similar occurrences.unfortunately, the manager of alamo tried to convince me that it was a rock that had struck the window and caused the problem.since i was driving the vehicle and felt the sudden decompression and explosive quality of what happened, i believe him to be wrong.thankfully, the glass did not blind me or prevent my controlling the vehicle.however, under different c ircumstances this event could have proven disastrous, not only to me and my passengers but to other vehicles on the road.i believe a complete investigation is warranted.

I own a 2000 buick century and have been having problems with my windshield wipers.they seem to have a mind of their own.they will go at whatever speed they want.they have progressively gotten worse, and are now at the point where they will completely stop but i can still hear the motor trying to run. I have tried to find out if there is a recall for this vehicle but am coming up blank.i am sure that i am not the only person with this problem.

Wiper motor failure and erratic functioning. This vehicle was built with a clear safety defect that will cause loss of life badweather. General motor's corporation had a very recent and similar problem with gm manufactured trucks. This make and model should be recalled before loss of life!

Purchased 4 new p20570r15 tires from, u guest is, wal-mart in mwc, ok. All four tires had belt separation issues and threw my car out of balance and in turn caused major wheel issues. My car started vibrating and shaking so bad i was afraid to drive it. While driving at night on the interstate the vibration got so bad, my back two tires blew out, i lost control of my car and my car ended up in a field of mud with no one in miles of me. My phone had died and i had to walk 4 miles, in the dark in 36 degree temp. After towing my car to wal-mart and complaining about my tires wal-mart would not replace any of the faulty, bulging, death trap tires. Because of these tires i almost lost my life twice. And wal-mart, well they can kiss my [xxx] so can the manufacturers.i will never recommend nor purchase their product ever again.oh by the way during the initial purchase of these crap tires a wal-mart mechanic stole items out of my car. I witnessed the act and complained to the store manager, which nothing resulted in the matter.information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).
