While dirivng vehicle at 13 mph owner was involved in an accident in which the right front side of vehicle was struck.there was no deployment of driver's side airbag. Gm inspected vehicle and determinedairbag sensors were not struck.

Consumer complains that airbags are not safe for short driver's, requests a switch to shut airbag off.

While driving 40-50mph driver's air bag deployed for no reason.

Vehicle was involved in a frontal crash at approximately 20 mph, and the air bag did not deploy, minor injuries involved. Tried to reach manufacturer. .et.

Violent deployment of air bag resulting in contusions of neck and face, fracture of left wrist, sprained right wrist, three broken ribs, difficulty breathing, coughing, and eye irritation to the driver.

The engine has been lossing coolant since the day that i acquired the car, march 18, 2000.there is also a rattle/clicking in the engine when it is operating cold, before warm up is completed.i spotted a collant leak on the drivers side of the engine near and just below the engine headgasket area.this could lead to coolant leaking on the ground and causing pollution if the leak gets worse.i have taken the car to the dealer for evaluation.

While driving at 35 mph without prior warning, consumer noticedan oil leak coming from under the vehicle.contacted dealer and they repairedvehicle. Dealer stated the oil leak was within the engine valve cover.

While driving at 65mph vehicle totally shutdown. There wereno warning lights on the dash.consumer waited for a few minutes, and vehile started again, 3 hours later it occured again.

Charged $12.55 to replace a supposedly bad turn signal after owning vehicle only about 1/2 months, called gm got that taken care of but told that the servicemans word was all they needed that tires were ok. Door had bad rattle, service caked grease on hinges to where would not rattle, after some grease came off same problem. Anti lock brake light came onand would not go off for one day,hasn't come on since had brakes checked could find nothing. The self adjuster and spring came off into the drum on left rear brake, was able to stop and fix with new parts.

Consumer states problem with leaking gas line. *tgwthe consumer stated a leak developed in the gas line below his feet, saturating the underside of the vehicle.the vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was determined the fuel line needed to be replaced.the consumerinspected the old part and discovered a small hole on the upper side of the return gas line at the point where the protective sheath ended and the line had come in contact with the sharp corner of the rear engine/transmission support mount.

Pulled into a driveway, the driver changed gears from drive to reverse and thena ping noise came from behind the steering wheel, the steering wheel and gear stick is loose.please describe details.

Automatic transmission failed, 2nd gear drum piston broke and pieces went through transmission causing complete failure.

Vehicle jumps out of gear during operation over 60 mph. Pcm module was replaced on 7-17-96. It downshifts from (d) to (3rd) gear.

Per nhtsa item number sb037602 the manufacturer issued a recall for this vehicle due to loss of 2nd transmission gear from improperly manufactured clutch reaction plates.per the dealer's service manager the recall affected about 5,000 vehicles manufactured before mine and states that gm will not replace the transmission on my vehicle that was not included in the recall. However it is probable that the recall problem had not yet been corrected in my vehicle because i am experiencing the exact same transmission problems as the recalled vehicles: mainly loss of 2nd gear.i would like to find out if the recall was expanded to additional 1995 buick century cars or if the manufacturer can be compelled to address my vehicle's problem under the circumstances.thank you for your valued assistance in this matter!!!

Heat is causing the plastic seat belt latch cover to deteriorate.dealership was notified, but did not resolve the problem.

The additional seat belt installed in order to use infant restraint seat in front right seat cannotbe removed/had to be priedoff with a screw driver.

Rear seat belts outboard anchorage may be insufficient to hold required load.

In the last (6) months the anti-lock brake warning light has come on intermittently. The light stays on for a couple of days before going off.

Brakes failed several times in low speed drivings (<=30miles) during summer and during winter. One winter failure before a red light (speed <=25 miles) caused a head to tail collision, which cost more than $2,000 in repairs. First, i felt the brakes working with some sharp noises and not working properly sometimes. I sent the car to a gm dealer service station t o inspect. No problem was found, then, several days later, when the brakes failed, i almost hit a police car. The same gm service station found some problems with the brakes this time and made a repair. Finally, last winter, the brakes failed again and caused a low speed collision mentioned above. I lost confidece on their brake quality. Please help me to remind others to watch out gm brakes. Never trust it.

The rear uni-body snaped on the drivers side and then 1 mile later the passenger side snaped, both sides snaped in the front halph, i brought the car to the junk yard so i donot have the defective part any more

Wheel locks for hub caps tighten up solid & can't be loosened when necessary for tire replacement. Requires a supplied tool that is made of plastic which is not strong enough to unloosen the wheel lock for tire replacement.manufacturer needs to replace supplied plastic tool with suitable one made of metal. This can lead to a disasterous situation, especially if a breakdown occurs in a remote location or even if the unability to remove a malfunctiong tire occurs in a heavily trafficed area.
