Consumer has had to replace alternator and battery twice due to dome light in vehicle coming on intermittently after all doors were shut securely, thus draining battery.
Generator failed.
I have had several problems with this car from the time that i bought it, it has been in the garage for more repairs that it has been on the road, from not staying started during the warm days to stalling in the middle of the road when weather is hot. Multiple problems with this car and yet no recall on some of these parts has been done. No safety defect mentioned.

Ignition switched turned while in park gear, vehicle instantly surged forward, resulting in an accident/injuries.

While entering the car and looking downdriver noticed smoke under the seat caused by wiringthatwas poorly installed.dealer was contacted and stated that there was no problem.

Exhaust manifold failed. *dsh
The exhaust gasket is defective. It bulges out it leaks and causes exhaust to come into the passenger compartment. Please describe.tt
Air conditoner has failed and losing freon.but consumerwas aware of 3 others vehicle that had same problem. Causeunknown.
Poor design and lack of clamping of the shift cable assembly has caused the shift cable to rub against the suction line, also creating a hole which has released the r12 to leak into the atmosphere.there are also environmental implications caused by this problem.this has also caused the a/c system to become inoperative and has also made the shift cable to weaken.although this automobile is out of warranty, i believe it should be (gm) buick's responsibility to make the necessary repairs at the company's / manufacturer's cost.
Hazard warning/turn signal lights inoperative.

Automatic transmission failed, recall on component however vehicle denied due to vin #.
Consumer requests to be reimbursed for repairs made to vehicle regarding the transmission which was under recall (91v214).consumer feels that buick is not being fair considering the vehicle problem is due to a factory or design defect, consumer states the transmission malfunctioned while on the highway.*jg
Consumerplacedvehicle in park, and itjumped out of gear and into reverse.a 90 year old passenger was attempting to exit vehicle as it jumped out of gear,and was dragged36 feet,causing severe injuries with stitches on eyebrowand fingers on left side. Vehicle then moved another 86 feet, andhit a tree to stop.
Right front drive axle failed, causing steering wheel to shake violently.
Consumer was driving and the steering started to shake,the right front axle broke . Please describe .
Vehicle was stopped at light, impact 6:00 position, rear right seatbelt anchor/attachments failed, causing head injuries prior to recall (95v-173).
Seat belt failed.
The seat belt buckle recall work was not performed properly, and the car was ruined due to the shotty job of the service department. Please describe.
Driver and passenger side seat belts will not lock in place when there is sudden stopping motion.tt

Brake failure.
Driving about 35mph; started to apply the brakes (abs); the brake pedal continues to the floor; had rearended another vehicle due to the failure of abs brakes. Was informed master cylinder was defective.
While drivng the brake pedal pulsates when brakes are applied, also there is excessive were of wheel cylinders, whell cylinders had been replaced three times with very low mileage on vehicle.
Brakes grind/lock.
Driving at 55 mph consumer went to apply brakes,experienced total brake failure,resulting ina rear end collision.consumer sustainedsevere head injuries, and vehicle was totaled.
When brakes were applied the vehicle suddenly accelerated, and stopped on its own.the dealer will inspect the vehicle.
The vehicle braking system malfuctioned,causing the brakes to be on at all times,even when driving the vehicle. May cause an accident. Currently at the dealer. Please provide details.
Excessive wear ofbrake pads and rotors, causing poor braking when traveling on wet pavement. Consumer has contacted the dealer, dealer has replaced the pads and rotors on a number of occasions. Please provide any further details.

Consumer experiencing problem when applying brakes.can hear a hissing noise inside the vehicle., also when consumer applies the brake pedal, the pedal would stick in place until the consumer applies the accelerator pedal,then the brake pedal would release itself. The brake booster was leaking and was replaced.
When pulling on steering wheel makes pops and jerks towards , as if it is going to come off in your hands.

Due to defective rack and pinion steering vehicle vibrates and shakes which may cause loss of vehicle control.dealer needs to replace rack and pinion steering.common problem.please provide further information.

Auto accellerated on its own -throttle went from 0 to wide open.
Vehicle accelerated uncontrollably when shifted into drive, causing accident.
The consumer put the vehicle in reverse and the vehicle suddly accelerated, causing the consumer to have an accident, consumer could not stop the vehicle.
Driver shifted gear into reverse and car started to accelerate,could have caused a crash.
Starting at a dead stop, drove a fewfeet, andalla sudden gas pedal went down and car took off.consumer applied brakes, andvehicle kept going. Ithit 3 parked cars before consumer was able to stop.the vehicle was accelerating on its own, but the mechanic could not find the cause.
Windshield washer pump failed.
