While driving at highway speeds the motor cycle engine shut off.the consumer has to restart bike. Dealer was not able to locate the problem.*nlm
While driving the motorcycle stopped running.the consumer put fuel in the motorcycle because it was low.the motorcycle still failed to start.the consumer removed the air filter and a large amount of fuel came out.the motorcycle was at the dealer for repair.buell, blast 2003.the fuel had come out, and spilled out onto the muffler or exhaust manifold.the dealer stated that this has happened to a lot of their bikes.model p3/year 2003 *scc
Motorcycle recall repairs denied/delayed until sep.1999 (due to manufacturer ). However there are several recalls on vehicle, unable to be completed (99v086).
Nhtsa recall # 99v-062.001 / speed control cable.... Dealer allowed consumer to purchase this new vehicle and move it off the lot without repairing recall on speed control. Can nhtsa help in this matter.
