When the right and left wheels rubbed against the pavement the driver's side impact air bag deployed.*phthe driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed head on into concrete blocks. The frontal air bags did not deploy.the manufacturer was contacted and stated that they re-examined the matter and confirmed that the air bag system performed as designed when the vehicle hit the concrete blocks and closed the matter (bmw m3).
