Slow speed stalling, repetitive problem.taken to dealer.has happened at least twice since.
Scooter stalled 7 times between june 21 and june 23.air temp above 90 each day.all happened while bike was coasting.on one occasion had me clenching buttocks fairly hard because of near drop in a turn due to engine switching to fancy german silence mode( like airwolf!) . Bike previously at dealer because of stalling after throttle was gently opened.dealer could not duplicate this type of stalling after 3 weeks and 57 miles. Service manager implied that the stalls might be driver induced due to his perceived thought of me not knowing how a cvt works, which makes me think the service manager is a &^%$** bag and doesn't know that there is no excuse for the scooter stalling, and even if there was, bmw would..........i'm rambling.this scooter now stalls when the bike is decelerating and at idle coast, just after the clutch releases.
Stalling and complete shut down of all components. Has stalled out now six additional times. Now at 500 miles and scheduled for service.
Fuel gauge does not update after a fillup. If the gauge indicated 1/2 before fueling, it will continue to indicate 1/2 after filling up. Sometimes it will indicate some change, but seldom accurately. Example: the unit is filled up, but indicates 3/4. Just happened to me yesterday.bmw denies this is happening.

Vehicle stall occasionally at low speed/low idle...
Motorcycle stalls (engine ceases operating) at low speed primarily when stopping.it does not do this at every attempted stop but more often than not during the course of a day's ride of approximately 200 miles.
Vehicle stalling at slow speeds.
After completing a turn onto city street it just quit as if you hit the kill switch.i was 3 miles from home and it did this again twice before i reached home.it failed to start again at the gated entrance.at this point when i tried to restart it had lost all compression.clear to me that the recall on that issue was the problem.i pushed it the rest of the way home.

Bike stalls suddenly and completely at low speeds and in low speed turns.loss of power and stability if it happens at turns.stranded in intersections if stalling occurs stops with high risk of sideway collision. Cannot restart bike without engaging brake at a full stop.problem repeats after first servicing.
Vehicle stalled out three times within ten minutes.vehicle is new and is utilizing proper octane fuel.vehicle stalled in the middle of the road and restarted each time when the starting steps were utilized.very dangerous to have the unit stall while operating on a regular basis.
@ 1050 miles: the scooterstarted stalling at low speeds in stop and go traffic. I can never predict when it is going to happen. It did it once while i was making a right hand turn and the car behind barley missed hitting me."you must apply the brake to restart, slowing you way down or stopping you {dangerous}, it has always restarted without a problem. The first chance i had i took it to the bmw service center 2/28/14 about a week after it started, it is still there. They saidit hadn't done it for them i told them to keep it and ride it again. This has happened on different tanks of gas and i always use premium bp so far.
Engine stopped running. No other functionality was affected. Had to coast to a stop to restart. This happened twice in the first 5 miles of riding, and in good weather. Rode 10 miles altogether.
I was 2nd in line at a stop sign. The truck ahead of me pulled out and i advanced. As i released the throttle to come to a stop the engine stalled. There was still power as all dash lights were on. The motor just quit. It happened 4 additional times that day with one time putting my life in peril as there was oncoming traffic and i had taken a right-on-red.two days later it happened 2 times and then the day the dealership came to pickup the motorcycle i tested it in the parking lot one last time and it happened again.so during the last three times i have started/ridden my motorcycle it has stalled on me a total of 8 times.the problem with this situation is that the starting procedure for this model requires you to be at a complete stop, pull in the left hand brake lever and then push the start button. So you have to be at a complete stop in order to turn over the engine.this vehicle has a cv (constant velocity) transmission.
The scooter is stalling during low-throttle or idle situations such as stoplights and slow-speed maneuvers, slow speed turns etc. The issue is documented in a few online articles.http://www.scooterfile.com/recalls/bmw-scooter-stalling-issues/http://www.webbikeworld.com/bmw-c-650-gt/bmw-scooter-stalling-problem.htm.
Has happen a number of times where the engine stalls while reducing rpms.concerned if on highway and engine stops.
Bike stalling at low speed and without warning. Was in slow moving traffic and went to accelerate and bike stalled. In order to restart, need to apply brake and start.truck behind almost rear ended me as i was restarting. The bike has stalled several times in the past 3 days, all at low speed and coasting.
Stalling and complete shut down of all components. Has stalled out now six additional times. Now at 500 miles and scheduled for service.
Scooter has been stalling at very low speeds.it sometimes stalls when i come to a stop.it often stalls when i'm trying to maneuver it for parking.today it almost died just as i was coming out of a turn. This could be a safety issue.gas tank is full.it happens when it's both cold or after it's been run for a while.just started happening after about 800 miles. Seems that this has been happening with other model owners as well.
3 engine stalls at low speed on three consecutive days.luckily not at an intersection or around other vehicles.many reports of the same problem on owners internet forums.
Driving on city street approaching a stop and the vehicle engine shut off without any warning or anything.
Vehicle stalls at low speeds.will surge at low speeds.will stall out when doing less than 15 mph or giving no throttle.will stall when vehicle is stopped for traffic or parking it.has been to the dealer twice for repairs with negative results.they claim it's a computer issue.they fail to repair it.see c650gt blog for others with the same problem:http://www.webbikeworld.com/bmw-c-650-gt/blog.htm#stalling
My vehicle is a scooter style motorcycle that has been having a sporadic low speed stalling issue.it most often occurs when the vehicle is slowing down, coming to a stop or preparing to accelerate from a stop. Bmw representatives have not been able to fix despite numerous attempts. They have opened internal cases and have not resolved the issue.this is dangerous because if a rider is attempting to pull out into the flow of traffic it could stall causing time delay and potentially oncoming traffic to strike a stalled scooter.it also can occur in turns where loss of power could cause to operator to drop the scooter causing injury and potentially the operator and passenger being run over.it has recently been in the shop(4-24-13 to 5-2-13) and since has stalled 4 time three in parking lots ,1 on a surface feeder road. The first incident was in the dealer parking lot picking it up from the 5-2-13.it stalled 5-3-13 on the feeder road at 1835 hrs and 5-4-13 1135 hrs and 1158 hrs.have reported to the dealer the issue still remains.
The contact owns a 2013 bmw c650gt motorcycle. The contact stated that he purchased a rack case from the manufacturer to carry items and support a passenger.the carry rack however, would not remain attached to the vehicle. The dealer was contacted and advised that the screws and rear bracket to support the carry rack case were defective.the vehicle was not repaired. The failure and the current mileages were 640.

Approaching stop sign at low speed approximately 10 mph, encountered engine shut down, no warning lights came on.engine restarted, however after stall i had no ability to maneuver.

Fuel gauge and related mpg read outs have not worked since the purchase of the brand new bike.the replacement of the tank sensor did not fix the problem.nine subsequent contacts made to bmw with no follow through by them to fix this safety issue.i understand that bmw has an internal service bulletin on the problem.
I just purchased a lightly used c650gt with 992 miles on july 23rd, 2013. Eleven days later with about 200 miles on the bike and i encountered a stalling issue. At first, it stalled in a turn riding out of my neighborhood. Restarted immediately. Road the bike for 1.7 miles to a friends house with no issue. Riding out from that neighborhood and it stalled again. Although i had 3/8's of a tank of gas - i rode to the gas station stalling as i turned into the station. Fueled up and started the engine. Pulling out of the gas station the engine stalled. Circled in a small shopping center adjacent to the gas station stalling twice more. Decided to try and ride the bike home and on a straight highway at 30 mph it did not stall until i turned into my neighborhood. Once in the neighborhood, it stalled on every turn (3 more times) before gliding into the garage. I cannot tell if the stalls are due to low rpm's, turns, or what.

Vehicle stalling at slow speeds.
Incidents of unexpected stalling increasing.this has happened seven times now.not safe to be on a motor scooter in traffic and have motor shut down on it's own.

Cannot restart bike without engaging brake at a full stop.problem repeats after first servicing.
I purchased a new c650gt on 2/7/13.i also got the rear trunk with the bike.after a month of riding, the luggage rack (which the trunk fastens on to) started to shake while riding.i noticed there are 3 main bolts that hold the luggage rack on to the bike, 1 on the left & 1 on the right, thatfasten onto the passenger grab bar & 1 that fastens over the rear tail light assembly.the bolt on the right side was the first to come loose & now the center bolt has come lose.i attempt to tight these bolts (with the proper torx driver) with negative results.i am afraid to use the trunk because i think it will vibrate off causing a hazard to someone driving behind the vehicle and loosing my belongings.there is a recall, for this problem, in canada.
