I have issue with fuel pump or fuel rail.. Car is only 7 years old i smell gas on the car

The issue is with both front doors intermittently not opening with the double door pull when stopped and parked after the auto locking speed engaged the door locks. I am concerned about this safety issue in the front seat passengers being trapped inside the car in an emergency.my research on this issue brought me to this forum that seems to best hit on my issue: https://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=674994 thread # 9.04-11-2013, 12:14 pm[xxx] is offlineregistered userlocation: arizona join date: feb 2013posts: 9mein auto: 2010 535iview my garagesmileyes, the door lock assembly needed to be replaced. The dealer first tried to fend me off saying that they could not find any issue. After i insisted on safety risk, they contacted bmw and found that it is a known issue with door lock assembly. Once they replaced it, i never had this problem again. Hope this helps.andhttps://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=873761thread #1610-16-2015, 07:45 am[xxx] is offline join date: nov 2005posts: 416mein auto: ex - '11 535 gt xdriveview my garageculprit is door lock actuator.i hope this helps troubleshoot this issue.remember to have the tech drive the car up to the auto locking speed each time to test it.also here is the link to my youtube video demonstrating it:https://youtu.be/av9yfvxtmmk thank you,[xxx]information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).
