Air bag occupancy sensor mat fault illuminated upon initial start of the vehicle in the morning.took it to the dealer the next day and was diagnosed as having a defective passenger occupancy mat.however, the current recall does not cover it even though its a 2007 because the build date was feb 2007 and the recall covers build dates of 2005 to sept. 2006. This should be covered under the same recall.

Started the car and airbag /seat tension light came on and will not turn off..bmw says car vin not on list for recal
Bmw has a recall on the air bag for this year and model but they refuse to honor the recall saying that only certain vin# were covered. How can that be when mine has failed, should i not be covered since i have a sensor that failed.
The "airbag malfunction" dash light is on.the bmw dealer has determined the malfunction is due to an internal failure to the drivers seat occupancy detector. An active recall (17v-605 ?) includes 2004-2006 bmw 7 series but excludes my 2007 bmw 7.dealer declined to make the repairs under the active recall.

Since purchasing my bmw 750li i have had nothing but problems starting w/the keyless remote which would not start the car(push start)/inserted.this was taken to the shop 4x before the problem was solved...2nd the battery died 2x on a 2007 unbelievable, now each time i turn off the car the battery is discharged soit makes you hesitate to drive anywhere far..the rims cracked causing continuous low tire pressure i spend more time @lb bmw its unreal they treat you unfair so with a dreamcar this is truly a horror!!
Car get excessive hot inside regardless of air conditioning setting . It is a on going issue sporatically, it started about a year ago
My vehicle has a drivers side defective door latch leaving the door to occasionally not close properly and unexpectedly open.this is a critical vehicle component that is not serving its purpose causing potential loss of vehicle control or injury to persons inside and outside the vehicle. Due to extremely poor design my vehicles navigation/audio components are inoperable.leakage of fluid from the trunk hydraulic shock down onto the navigation system has resulted in wiring system problems that may result in fire and or loss of lighting. I have maintained my vehicle since purchase with the most attentive and prestigious service.i am extremely concerned and disappointed that i am having these safety and poor design problems due to bmw defects and flaws. Last week i called bmw of north america regarding these 2 safety issues.i was advised to take it to by bmw service center for inspection and contact them upon doing so.yesterday i contacted them in an attempt to forward the diagnosis/action plan and to my surprise not only was i refused the right to forward the paperwork but was also refused any remedy by bmw.

I have a 2007 750li bmw with airbag and seat belt problemshas there been a recall on this safety complaint.
1) the electrical section of the dashboard for speed, checking gas levels etc. Is no longer visible. It is available for inspection! 2) for the obvious reason: unable to determine all safety measures such as speed, driving safety such as gas level, warning signals etc.! 3) the problem was the result of numerous visits to the dealership regarding the rain leaking into the car. Which they said they were unable to find a leak or leaks.advised the of possible recall re: car latch issues where the water leaks into the car via trunk etc.they finally realized their error. But failed to repair. Said it was a recall issue. 4) as mentioned...has been inspected numerous times by the dealership in willoughby, oh! 5) of course there were warning signs that there was a problem or would eventually be a problem when water starts getting into your car: when it shouldn't (doors closed, windows up sunroof closed etc. However, as i said previously, the dealership inspected the car enough times to find what the problem was and avoid the damage cause:(unless it is/was an issue that warrant a recall of the car's sealing, sunroof, latch etc. That was deffective!!!note:the dealership indicated that the water was getting in to the car, but couldn't stop it from getting in didn't have the knowledge to fix?wouldn't that be a recall matter?my safety & others is at stake if you don't take responsibility of a defect in this bmw.
My driver side door will not close. Both comfort access and soft close is not working.
Took in for repair for water getting into car several times to dealer.told they could not find a problem or where any water was getting into car.the last time i took it in, told that they cleaned water lines etc.so, should be ok.however, after driving it home & once a good rain came, it got wet inside the cabin/car again! they had the car, worked on it etc.however, when it was picked up again, told that the dash screen was damaged.but rather than blame it on the water getting into the car etc.; they blamed it on something else which cost an unbelievable price to repair.or they failed to admit their unbelievable car care and customer care/service. Subsequently, the lost of being able to see the car dash, screen etc.:all of the systems information:gas level, speed, lights, navigation etc. Has been lost.

While driving at 25-30mph, the vehicle stalled losing all power including the power steering and having to coast into the breakdown lane.this is the second time in 3 months.after sitting for 15 minutes and 5-10 "no starts", the vehicle finally started and drove normally.the dealership is unable to replicate the event.there is a current power supply recall on several bmw models demonstrating the same symptoms.bmw states that the power supply on the 750li is different from those vehicles under the recall.this model should also be included as i have read several similar complaints on the bmw forums. This is a very dangerous safety hazard in which many bmw 7 series owners are experiencing.

Crank case vent valve failure caused damage to engine. Low brake pedal.
Valve seals....there are way too many people having the same engine issue on these models for nothing to be done. The valve seals let oil blow by which results in massive oil loss and could result in engine failure. Then bmw wants everyone to pay thousands of dollars to fix their mess up.
2007 bmw 750 li.consumer writes in regards toneeding a transmission, engine and other services.the consumer stated a transmission default alert illuminated as well as an alert to add a quart of oil.

Near miss a couple times..........whenever sitting still for a period of time then go to take off there is a big bluish gray smoke cloud. At the same time the car will take off then do a jerky stop and go again. I've almost been rear ended many of times. If sitting somewhere for longer then 2-3 minutes the car is surrounded by this smoke. Its a known issue with bmw. To me this is a safety issue along with environmental and health issue.

Could not put fuel in the tank except at a very slow rate, the gas will click off constantly, very frustrating. This has been going on ever since. Never could get a reason why, was encouraged to see i wasn't the only one this was happening to.
When fueling gasoline into tank the station nozzel shuts off afrter adding 1 -2 gallons of fuel .you do not know when your tank get full.gasoline at times spashes back causing to wipe off gasoline from car and clothes. They say its the charcol canister to replace at owners cost if u have no warranty. Iit takes up to 10 minutes to fill up the gas tank when low on fuel.

Own a 2007 bmw 750li. I started having problems with my driver side door several weeks ago. My driver door would not shut. Yesterday, i was at the work, went back to my car, used the remote and the door opened. Got into my car and my door would not shut. I tried to use the automatic lock and it did not work. I used the key on the driver side and waited until i heard it catch, this reengaged my lock so i was able to close the door. Update comp code to latches/locks/linkages. Very dangerous not having the door lock.need to be a general recall on this defect.
As my wife and son were driving the passenger door just unlatched from latch and would not latch back, after some research ,i found that there was a recall for the door latch issue on bmw 750 models built from 08/04 to 09/07 notice was 12v504 with that info in hand i called reeves bmw in tampa fla only to be told it was not a open campaign based on my vin even though my vehicle was built 01/07 and has both cas and soft close doors just as recall notice noted, nothing in the may 2013 technical service bulletin states anything about certain vin's just the production date's, this is a issue that should be addressed by this agency with more vigor because it is more than a inconvenience but a [xxx] safety issue. Which is going to cause someone to lose there life.information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

Transmission slips into park at a light.county street.did it to three drivers.
My 2007 bmw li just started throwing itself into park while driving causing a major abrupt stop jerking the car to a stop.the transmission fault error came on and i turned the car off and waited a minute and turned it back on and was able to continue.it did this one more time before reaching home.then the following day attempting to drive it as soon as i put it in reverse it jumped back into park.i had it towed to the dealer as i had read that there was a recall for bmw's with the same symptoms.i have since read numerous complaints of other bmw same year and model having the same problem.the dealer just said it wasn't covered under a recall and the transmission needs to be replaced and the cars age isn't worth the value of replacing the transmission so i have the car parked in my garage and cannot drive it.bmw needs to step up and take responsibility.there are plenty of the same make, model, and year having the same issue.

The vehicle was taken to sewell cadillac of grapevine (1001 e state hwy 114, grapevine, tx76051) where it was diagnosed that the driver seat mode was engaged, which caused the vehicle to shift into park.the vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 112,000.
When accelerating the car does not respond at first, and then when it does finally accelerate it switches gears so hard the whole car lunges forward, i took the car into the dealership three times. Each time they said they needed to do software upgrade. This never fixed the problem.the car still continues to do this.the first time i took the car to the dealership the car was at 55,000 miles, my car is currently at 65,000 miles. It is a real safety concern because if you press the pedal to turn, there is such a delay that it may not be safe to turn anymore but the car then accelerates.

My name is [xxx]. I was turning off of frontage rd onto northside dr slowly and my left front tire fell right into a huge pothole which blew my tire completely out. This is my 3rd time having to get a brand new tire due to the streets of jackson,ms. The 1st two times i was upset but, as usual, did not be a baby about it but went on to get my car fixed on my own. This time, i am extremely upset, and am very tired of spending money on my car when the only damage comes from this city. Also, my car made a small squeaking noise afterwards and a seatbelt warning is on in my dashboard. Parts for my car are very expensive. The tire alone is enough. I was not speeding or driving wreckless and i cannot continue to pay for the damages caused from the streets. If someone could please contact me and talk to me, or if i could personally talk to someone, i would gladly appreciate it. I have a 2007 750li bmw with airbag and seat belt problemshas there been a recall on this safety complaint.
The contact owns a 2007 bmw 750li. The contact stated that after the vehicle was started, the passenger side air bag and the passenger side seat belt warning lights illuminated. In addition, the contact stated that the an error message 'fault in passenger restraint system effecting the air bag belt tensioner or seat belt force limited" displayed across the instrument panel. At home cranked car to leave and airbag and seat belt warning lights came on. Called dealership and was toldit is the front seat occupant protection mat, but no recall for this model. They are well aware of this problem. Afraid to drive a car that cost so much and bmw wont stand behind their product is ridiculous.
Airbag and seat belt light are on. Came on while driving with one passenger. Dealer states front passenger seat occupant detection mat needs replacing. Nhtsa id 13v564000 does not apply to my vin

The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 120,000.
It has been happening from 2009 which was not a big concern after i bought the veh.as of now the problem has worsened i happens when i am parking the ( parallel parking ) less then 10 miles per hour brake pedal become stiff when depress onit the car would not stop sometime i would bump the in front of me or behind me. The scary part is when i am effecting a broken u turn in a tight street ,i would step on the beak to avoid hitting in front and back of me . The brake pedal would stiffen even if pushed all the way down to the floor. I purshased the car with 13000 miles and now the car has only 73000 miles i change my rotors on time brake pads on time once the car is going straight the brake works please ,i don' t know what to do. Please let me if there is any recall on > i think this is my last bmw ,no more.

Updated 05/14/2013
On my way to work the door disengaged and opened on me, very scary and dangerous, i found info on recall campaign 12v-504 soft close automatic function......called some local dealers about the issue not only do i receive vague run around replies stating 1st the car doesnt match recall then after i show them the paper all of a sudden the car was called in already and fixed even tho same issue is back but now uh oh warrenty is out cant do anything, this is pathetic they look for any reason to cop out and refuse to even inspect with out charging $200 ! its unnecessary tohave to pay $200 to tell me the door is broken i can see that. I could have gotten seriously hurt or worse died driving the car like this and bmws enthusiastic attempts to look for any excuse to refuse repair is sickening. My car drivers door doesnt close i tell bmw dealermy car matchs year make model and defect specifically matching recall, it says in recall not to drive like that ! , service advisor person litterally looked at computer looked back at me and said the computer says your car got inspected for recall already, but oddly couldnt tell me where it was fixed which door malfunctioned or how it was repaired. No reciept re print no helpful info at all just idk itll be $200 to inspect and we close early today then said have a nice day good luck, they let us drive off in that nasty condition couldnt say who what where the car was already seen for recall just that i was screwed and car 1st didnt match recall then changed to was called in for recall but no assistance for when sypmton re appeared. Just a "did you make appoinment?" have you purchased here before?" "we are busy today and closing soon" how conveint for bmw, not so much for me and my family tho, no concern for customer safety at all.......
Door will not close on the front driver and passage side, driving down the street and the door flew open had it not been for my seat-belt i could have fallen out, very frightening to have other cars driving beside me and the door opened like that and it will not lock period no way to secure vehicle. I was told by the dealership they had not resolution, no way to repair it is unknown to me what is causing this problem but there is a recall. I was told to call bmw national so i did andspoke with kala at 800-831-1117 ext 8561, she provided a number with ext to give to the dealership. I spoke with jay at the dealership 713-597-7895.

Car get excessive hot inside regardless of air conditioning setting . It is a on going issue sporatically, it started about a year ago

Car screen panel dead.no visuable information on car panel to determine speed, gas level etc.car picked up from dealership after service and told of water leak in car.had beentold by the service dept that they could not find a leak of water into car.however, apparently, they did not want to repair the panel due to their neligence. The carhad been taken to them with this issue several times as a potential recall issue.

2007 bmw 750limy wife use this car for routing and normal drive to school and home, never drive to mountain and rockroad. More than 6 month only 5000 miles, then tire wheel crack.because a crack caused the flat, tire that is very dangerous. Thank god she didn't drive on highway, so nobody got injury.right now i doubt the tire wheel quality, how come only 5000 miles the tire wheel will crack. That is defect.the tire wheel suppose to last for 10 or 50 thousand miles include impact and speed test. Why it is so weak?bmw even don't offer information on manual book, they said only on website have these tire wheelinfo. And also said this tire wheel is very easy broken. But crack is not under warranty.how come they didn't offer this info before we sign contract? how come they treat customer life like joke?they even said if flat tire you still can run 10 miles without lose control. But if lose control, can they take responsibility?i can offer my crack tire wheel and tire to check, if necessary.
