I was told by bmw cincinnati north my air bag was replaced over 30 days ago.your database shows it was not. Another bmw dealer recently told me that my air bag was not replaced. Bmw north america has not responded to requests for clarification.they simply stated, nhtsa records may not be updated yet.
Bmw said they replaced and fixed the air bag issue and battery cable (positive) recall.it's been over 2 weeks and i just searched on safercar.gov and they both still show as open issues.did bmw lie?
The contact owns a 2007 bmw 335xi. The contact stated that the air bag warning indicator was illuminated and remained illuminated until the vehicle was powered off. The vin was excluded from nhtsa campaign number: 13v564000 (air bags). The vehicle was brought to the dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired due to the vehicle having over 100,000 miles. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 126,000.
I received a letter in the mail that there may be a recall on the airbags in my car. I used the website given to check for any recalls. It said the blower motor on my car has a recall notice and i needed to call my local dealership. I called and they checked their data base and verified my car indeed does have a recall that could potintially cause fire. However bmw usa has not provided replacement parts. So they would not be able to fix the problem.

Bmw 335xi fire burned car total loss after driving 1/4 mile.vehicle was at bmw days earlier with a complaint of rough idle/reduced power.told engine faults would be handled by software update.fire burned two cars with a small explosion and 15 foot flames.
Central locking issue. The doors neither lock nor unlock with key fob, and the central locking button inside the car does not unlock the doors. The double pull method also does not unlock the doors. Seems like a huge safety issue especially when i have 4 other people in the car and get t-boned, flip the car and it catches fire, and now all of us have to get out of the passenger door. Not sure where to go from here !

The dealer (international bmw, 2400 s 108th street, west allis, wi 53227, 414-543-3000) was contacted and confirmed that parts were not available for the recall remedy. The manufacturer was not notified. The contact had not experienced a failure. Vin tool confirms parts not available.
I parked the car at work at 7:30 am. At noon a co-worker notified me that my car was filled with smoke in the cabin. I went outside and saw this and immediately called the fire department. I waited for them to show, and opened the door as smoke poured out from the cabin. The fire department said there was an active fire in the glovebox. It looks like it started around the blower motor for the ac and the fuse box . My insurance company declared the car a total loss.
My vehicle has multiple codes for faulty fuel injectors. A recall campaign was initiated i n 2010 to repair these injectors. I believe the recall campaign was titled 10e-a02: replace fuel injectors. The eligiblity was listed as vehicles with production dates from 4/01/2007 to 11/30/2008. Vehicles included were bmw e90 models.i have a 2007 e90 model with a production date of 3/2007.it is peculiar that the production date did not include all vehicles in that model year.i have researched and determined that the part number on my fuel injectors were the same as the part numbers of the fuel injectors for vehicles produces in 4/2007 and for the rest of that model year.i feel my vehicle should be included in that recall, please advise.10
Bmw 335xi vehicle fire total loss. Vehicle was driven short distance then parked.approximately 10 minutes after parking the vehicle was discovered on fire.vehicle was in the bmw dealer with engine code light on.was told to drive until software updates were available.
My american specs bmw 3.35xi lost significant power and went into limp mode on the autobahn (a6) near bad durkheim, germany while traveling at 100 mph up a hill passing a car in the left lane, nearly causing an accident (being struck from behind by a car traveling at estimated 130 mph in the left lane.i am a military officer stationed overseas and do not know how to file a complaint that nearly killed me.
2007 bmw 335xi floor mats are not anchored or attached to floor in any way. Floor mats constantly slide back and forth, as they are smooth on the bottoms. The drivers side mat will often cause clutch pedal not to release when shifting, as the mat obstructs the pedal from releasing. This issue was reported to local dealerships and i was told there was nothing that would be done.
Was traveling on i290, at about 70mph, when i needed more acceleration to pass a truck... The car started to shake, the engine service soon light came on, and it was flashing. The car was slowing down very quickly, i was unable to gain more speed, nor even maintain speed, i had to rush to the breakdown lane, all the way from the left lane. There was a barrier on the left lane, so parking on the left would have been too dangerous.i stopped by autozone, they scanned my car... The scan reported: cylinder 4,5,6 misfire.the car drove fine after i turned it off, and back on... But, every time i accelerate fast, the engine misfires very very bad. I would loose to a honda civic on a race.

"engine failure" sign comes on my 2007 bmw 335xi and the engine power significantly cuts off.this has happened to me at least 3 times.the 1st and 2nd time it happened to me, i was driving on the freeway and suddenly, the sign comes on and i lost significant engine power, had to slow down and move over to the right lanes, as i had to drop my speed immediately from 70mph to 55 or lower.then i pulled over, turned off the car and restarted the car.sometimes that worked and my engine got full power, sometimes it doesn't and i have to drive with low engine power.the last time this happened to me, 3 days ago, i was in my subdivision and the same light came on, and i lost power.luckily, it was only my sub, so i stopped the car and re-started the engine.for all the times this happened, i contacted bmw and i believe the did and drive update and replaced the high pressure fuel pump.

2007 bmw 335xi door lock system failure. The car is 3 years old and the door locks have failed twice. The drivers side door locks will not open and the only recourse was to climb over the console and exit through the passenger door. This is a safety issue. I have had it repaired twice, and the second repair by the dealer was to put in a larger valuse fuse. This does not seem like a proper repair. I am sure that tere is still something wrong and that as it continues to degrade i will be locked in the car again. In an accident situation this could be deadly.
Couldn't unlock drivers door from the inside, had to open the windows and use the key to unlock the door from the outside on my 2007 bmw 335xi.
