Takata recallcomplaint on the time it takes to get this fixed.i received noticed around march2016, it is now december 2016, what is considered a timely remedy to this situation? 1 year? in other words, how long do i have to put my life at risk until this becomes remedied? i was involved in an accident previously that cause my car to be a total lost, should i consider myself lucky that the takata recall issue did not kill me? just waiting for someone to tell me i can bring my car in is driving me nuts. The dealers don't give me any information on how i can get this fixed on my own. And all they do is ask me if i received a letter yet. Well its been over half a year and still no letter.
I recall the moment my car accident happened :when i arrived the pharmacy parking lot, absolutely i slowed down my car and approaching the parking space. When my car 's front tires touch one side of the pavement ( there are 2 pavements separated apart about 3 feet with soil where are planted with flowers, each pavement is approximately 1/2 foot thick and 1/2 foot high ). While i stepped on my car's break pedal, i felt the car suddenly lost control and it jumped on my side's pavement, and almost at the same time, both air bags burst, made the car ran over to almost a half of the distance between 2 pavements ( about more than 2 feet ) andhitting the rear of another parking car ( on opposite side of my car's parking space ( lot ). Therefore :2 reasons, the breaking system didn't function well at first, when the car jumped to the pavement, the air bags suddenly burst, made the car madly jump over to another side of parking space ( opposite side ) and made the accident serious ( 1 car's rear almost was crashed, another car's rear on the other side of parking space was touched by this car' s head almost no evidence ). Finally, my car stopped, can't move anymore !
Takata airbags bmw has not sent a second letter since march on the repair of the recall. That is unacceptable considering honda gave their customers loaner vehicles until they are fixed. I called my local dealersip and they just basically said they cant do anything until i receive the second letter. I have a 3 year old and i fear for our safety daily. This is unacceptable the time frame when such a recall could potentially kill us. That was march. It is almost september.

Recall 13v044000 electrical system car is still affected by this recall and unsafe for driving. Vehicle has been losing power, stalling, jerking, sensors faulty, recall16v071000 airbags unsafe hazzardmy son was driving the vehicle and the lights and sensors started to go, the headlight went out on the highway, he managed to get into the emergency lane and the vehicle completly stalled. He had no light including hazards on a busy highway at night. He could have been killed losing power while driving especially on the interstate. This has happened on more than one occasion and needs to be repaired, or refunded by bmw immediately.my son is 23 years old and should not have to fear for his life whenever he drives his vehicle. Bmw claims the recall work was done, but this vehicle is obviously not repaired as far as the electrical system. The vehicle has lost power while i was driving on the city streets. I was stalled at the stop light and had to leave the vehicle on the side of the road abandoned. The vehicle jerks and loses power every time it's driven now.
Heat not working on car.concerned about fire before recall is fixed. Plus, i am freezing in winter weather conditions.i have been told by dealership bmw has not released parts to fix.this is unacceptable.
Takata recall-i took my car in for the airbag recall and the bmw of south atlanta repaired the driver seat-i think. When i left the passenger airbag off light was on and i asked about it the tech said if you have an accident you don't want to schrapnel to hit the passenger. From then on the seat belt sign stayed on even when someone was in the passenger seat with their seat belt on. I took my car back in last week for the warning light and was told it is a seat sensor and would cost $1,400.00. Does this have anything to do with the airbag recall? if this is a safety issue and is a faulty part with bmw then why aren't they recalling and repairing?

The contact owns a 2009 bmw 328. The contact received notification of nhtsa campaign numbers: 17v676000 (electrical system) and 17v683000 (engine and engine cooling); however, the parts to do the repair were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact did not notify a dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

Electrical dafety, battery wire pulls loose from fuse box, causing car to shut down, even while in motion, therefore losing brakes and steering. Thas exactly what happened to my car on the interstate in traffic. I narrowly avoided a crash and peake bmw in kener, la refuses to tow the car, fix it in a timely manner, or offer a rental or loaner at no cost.

I had to replace the positive crankcase ventilation pcv valve heater and harness in april of2017 because it melted.this cost me $3000 at patrick bmw in schaumburg, il.i later found out that there is a recal # 17v-683 concerning this.i never received a letter from bmw about the recall.however, i'm looking to get reimbursed for my out of pocket charges.when i took my car to the closest dealer, i was told i had to wait to receive the reimbursement.therefore, i'd like to file a complaint.in addition, i smell a burnt smell from time to time.i know there is a blower motor recall as well.i've experienced problems with the blower motor on my car since the first year of owning it.when i asked the dealer about the smell - i was told there were no signs of a burning smell.i'm concerned because the smell is not constant only on occasion.my fear is my car will catch on fire and cause damage to me or my property.please tell me my rights concerning filing a claim on both recalls.one for reimbursement and the other for replacing the blower motor.

Takata recall: just cant believe my car justwentdead while driving. There have been issues with the fuel pump but nobody is making people aware of this so it can get fixed.it was really scary . Belt tensioner was replaced from bmw in 2014. Then belt tensioner goes bad again in 2016.steering super tight ,just replaced power steering pump 10 months ago..

Belt tensioner was replaced from bmw in 2014. Then belt tensioner goes bad again in 2016.steering super tight ,just replaced power steering pump 10 months ago..
