After the repair, the air bag warning indicator illuminated. The dealer was contacted again and stated that they would inspect the vehicle. The contact was notified that the dealer ran a code and simply turned the warning indicator off, which was why the failure recurred soon after it was reset. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and stated that the remedy for the recall was performed. The contact was transferred to the customer service line and then left on hold. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 317,000.
