The contact owns a 2011 bmw 323i (n/a). The contact received notification of nhtsa campaign id number: 13v044000 (electrical system) and contacted the dealer. The contact stated that the earliest appointment that the dealer had available for recall service was 6 weeks later. The contact did not feel that the quoted time was a reasonable time frame to address a safety defect.the vin was unavailable. The contact had not experienced a failure.
A recall has been issued for my 328 ix diesel (recall campaign no. 18v-755) in december of 2018.i have called bmw three times and they have not been able to provide any information about this situation and when it will be resolved.it has been six months.in addition to this being a safety issue, i can't sell my car and it is impacting the value of the car.
While driving at freeway speed my car all of a sudden shut off.this has happened three times now.
Both bulbs went out in a time of 1.5 hours h7, had to stop, took bulbs from high beam ( same) to install into low beam, was not able to get bulb into the socket, lamp disconencted from the adjustment and refelctor wnet down . Then tired the other site, same was not able to get bulb into socket, reflector disconnected from adjustment and tilted down as well, then went with fog light to the next gas station bought 2new h7 for the high beam, was not able to set into to socket as well. Car was parked until day light, went to bmw to correct took 2 hours and cost me $ 185.- to get bulbs into socket and get refelctor back into the adjustment, this light are unsafe from two points, one is the light quality and the other point no person can change the bulbs without removing wheels or bumper the change them out i complaint to bmw in dec 2016 and only got a response that there will get back to me what there never did, just updated them today again with no response

High pressure fuel pump make my car slow while driving on the highway. My car have problem trying to start.
Bmw 328xi head rest extending too far forward.the consumer stated sitting completely against the back of the seat, the head rest bends the neck and forces the driver to look at the floor. The consumer wrote to bmw asking them to change the head rests and they responded by saying there was nothing wrong with the vehicle and since he was under contract, he was forbidden to make any changes.
