The contact owns a 2009 audi tt 2.0t. While driving approximately 25 mph, the vehicle suddenly lost power, the brakes and the power steering failed. The vehicle coasted and then stopped. The vehicle was towed to an authorized dealership where the steering column, computer control panel and the ignition system were repaired. Three days later, the failure occurred again almost causing a crash. The vehicle was towed to a different dealership where the relay was replaced. The contact called the manufacturer who offered no assistance. The current mileage was approximately 7,100. The failure mileage was approximately 7,000.

Had issues with the rear taillights grounding issue causing the ground in the connector to melt and short out causing the taillight to no longer work.this was an issue first on the driver side then the other 6 months later. Both repaired locally by adding an additional ground wire and replacing the connectors.

This is the utmost frustrating serial of incident i have ever encountered with an auto manufacture company - audi. I have tried to put my faith and safety again with audi, but they have completely failed me leaving me and family in dangerous and paranoia. My audi 2009 tts was problem free until 4,000 miles. Out of ordinary, the engine light came on and the dealership informed me that the fuel seal was leaking and needed replacement. This incident was very similar with my 2009 a3 incident (odi #10281829). I have since been extremely paranoid with my new tts as the a3 had left me very frightening experience as it had completely lost power on the highway. At around 14,000 miles, i have noticed a ticking sound by the rear driver area. This was the area that the dealership had worked on at 5,000 miles with the replacement of fuel seal. I have not think much of it as the car was still running and it was approaching the next service interval and i thought i can just have the dealership check this problem then. However, today, i was driving locally with my grandmother in las vegas. The ticking sound was still there and the tts once again completely failed on the local street.i was traveling on the local street in the far left lane at around 45 mph, the car started to jerk and the check engine light was on. Then the engine completely shut down in the middle!! i did not want to stop in the middle of the traffic and i have turned on my emergency light and cruise to a stop in the middle lane. My grandmother and i was in complete shock, i cannot believe this is happening to me again with another audi car. Twice in 10 months. Luckily, the engine restarts and the check engine light was no longer on, but i could smell a whip of gasoline. I have stop by a gas station to see where is this smell was coming from. It was coming from the left exhaust pipe. I am completely frustrated and i will never purchase and trust audi with my life. This cannot happen.

I was sold a car with a safety recall outstanding for the fuel tank ventilation valve 20q3j3 with mandatory stop sale in place and not advised of the need for repairs at the time of sale. I purchased the care 10/31 and not advised until i called the dealership on 11/09/09.

I've experienced issues when trying to shift gears, most recently when putting the car in reverse from drive, the dashboard started flashing and it lost all power as if it were disengaged or in neutral. I took the car into a dealer as this is a safety issue and was told that there was a recall on this issue for my vin ( campaign 09v333000), but that it had already been repaired prior to my ownership, which does not seem to be the case.

Clunk and noise from dsg transmission when accelerate from stop in d position or from 2nd to 1st gear for slowing down. I think it is mechatronic issues for those year vw audi dsgs. It's out of warranty but still can be covered by recall?

The car was driving fine during the day. During the evening i was maneuvering the car to park. When i put the car into reverse, the prnds indicators started flashing. The car would not move in any of the gears while this was occurring. I had to restart the car off to be able to move the car. I brought the car into the dealership and they replaced the mechatronics unit of the car. The same issue occurred about a week after my car was returned to me. I brought the car back and was told that it was due to a low level of transmission fluid. The car was returned to me and the problem showed up a week later. I am scheduled to bring the car back in this coming week. It is an issue with an audi dsg transmission.

I boughta cpo 2009 audi tt shortly after purchasing i noticed that when i put the car in reverse it would not find a gear. The car would have to be restarted to correct the issue . I told the mechanic at my 6000 mile check that the car was not finding a gear when i put the car in reverse. He then said that all the readings from the car did not show an issue. At my 16000 mile service again told the rep that i was experiencing the same issue. He again stated no errors found. Then at 19000 miles my check engine light came on. The carbegan todrive kind of harsh at low speeds and i was experiencing the flashing lights of pnrds more often at least three times a week when switching to reverse. I took it in for the check engine light described the issue again to my service guy. He said they would look at it. Come to find out they said they needed to change the transmission control module unit and i would not receive my car for two weeks. I picked up my car verified with service rep the car was in good standing with warranty recalls he assured me everything was fine and the issue had been corrected. I had the car for no more than 12 hours before the flash of death pnrds appeared except this time i almost rolled into a car while parking. I immediately called the rep to discuss that this is some bs. So i took the car in and he said some bs how he took the car to some audi car maintenance guy and they said i would need a whole new transmission addition, i noticed that when moving the car from drive to park that was a double clicking sound and what can best be described a double lurching of the car when going to drive. So audi released a car they said was fine and it didn't work past 12 hours. I am over audi. I am currently in the process having them buy back the car because i have been without my car for a month. Pay 45k for a car it should work for more the 19k miles.

I accelerated the car and i was unable to stop it. I applied the brakes and the car just kept on going.

A defective passenger side window sprocket in the pulley assembly caused the window to jam in a halfway open position which caused a dangerous visilibility condition while operating the vehicle in a snowstorm. The vehicle was literally approximately 36 hours past the time duration of the factory standard warranty period therefore audi refused to assume liability for the window pulley assembly's failure.
