Multiple warning lights come on at the same time including transmission, engine, abs, esp, air bag and tpms, while these lights are on vehicle hesitates and looses complete power, this condition happened in the middle of the highway and almost caused an accident, had to tow the vahicle home and eventually to my local audi dealership. I found on line technical bulletin sb-10053894-9766 which describes the exact sympthoms my vehicle is having, i strogly believe this should be a recall rather then a tsb

On this particular day, my husband was driving my car andhe only got 2 blocks in our neighborhood before the car began to fill with smoke.he quickly got out of the vehicle and within minutes the car caught on fire! the fire started inside the car near the right wheel base. I have 3 young children all in car seats and i shudder just thinking about what could have happened if we were in the car instead of only my husband.the fire truck arrived shortly after and put the fire out causing massive water damage.however, the smokeand fire completely destroyed the inside of the vehicle and there were portions of the back seat, side panel, and roof that were melted.the official fire report said the fire was caused by an electrical issue inside the vehicle above the right tire. It is nothing but the grace of god that allowed my entire family to walk away from this incident unharmed.however, i am concerned that a 2013 audi would catch on fire, i expected a safer and more quality product, especially with my children in the car.

The vehicle has performed poorly after completing a us department of justice mandated "fix" of diesel (3.0 liter tdi, engine code cnrb) emissions equipment related to vw/audi emissions cheating. There is now sporadic lag in acceleration, especially at low speeds, or accelerating from a complete stop. There were times when i have pulled into oncoming traffic, and the power delivery was non-existent, followed by, after a 1 second delay, rapid over acceleration. There have also been many problems related to the reductant metering module failure that has caused dangerous delays and lags in acceleration.

I am disha and i bought an audi q7 for rs. 94 lakhs from bengaluru, two years and four months back. The reason was its speed as i had to travel to different cities and it was a business requirement too. I bought two more audis for my business officials and purpose. But my experience with audi is very bad. The first audi car of mine is q7 and it is a little over two years old. I have spent rs. 45 lakhs on my q7 already for it to run efficiently. Currently, i gave the audi for service purposes a month ago and i have still not got it back in spite of me paying the full amount. The excuse is that they are not able to get the automobile parts and it's still to reach india from overseas. I now curse myself for my fleet of audi. I have a q3 and an a4 too which are also the same and i had spent huge amount of money on them just to keep them running. Along with the performance of the car, high maintenance cost and bad after sales and dealership services i still thought of keeping my cars. But i am not able to get my car back after giving it for servicing. So i regret my decision of buying the audi cars and would not recommend anyone to buy such cars or any of audi cars at all. My name is [xxx] and i am an established business woman of bengaluru. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

The car burns oil so much that we have to continuously top off the oil every few days. The dealership states, the engine is big and this is normal. I don't believe this is normal, and perhaps something else is going on and could it pose a safety issue. This problem has been ongoing since the purchase of the certified used car in 2016.

High oil consumption, within a month of buying it.said it was normal, now its on a week to week basis with putting oil in the car and engine light is on.it comes on while moving and stays on until oil is put in.

Rumbling sound from a cold start.reported problem to service department when car was still under warranty in april 2015 and was told it was normal sound.now engine failure with timing chain and tensioners.there was a tsb issued by audi in march 2015 for this issue and yet nothing was ever mentioned. Now repair estimate is $12,000.

Within 300 miles of the diesel recall modification the engine lost power at 70 mph and slowly drifted to lower speed. Additionallythe transmission did not respond to manual shift to a lower gear (it stayed in 8th). After stopping the car and turning it off a "reset accoured" and the car operated normally for another 300 miles. The car again lost power and the transmission did not respond to manual shift to a lower gear. The car was taken to audi and they "cleaned" the erg valve. The loss of power and lack of transmission accrued again at about 300 ,450 and 600 miles past the event of audi working on the ergt. All of these events have taken place at interstate speeds and when the car is being operated on trips in excess of 300 miles

When the vehicle is traveling between approximately 70-72 mph and the brakes are applied, the head lights will flicker or bounce. This distracts the driver and other drivers on the road.

2013 audi q7 tdi - catastrophic high pressure fuel pump failure. Second incident within approximately 20,000 mi on same vehicle.was driving approximately 30 mph on city street. Car began shaking violently and losing power rapidly, glow plug light came on. Driver began pulling over to the side of the street but vehicle stalled before safely on shoulder. Attempted to restart engine after approximately 1 minute. Car would not start and had to be towed to dealer.the first incident occurred at approximately 50,000 mi. The entire fuel system except tank was replaced including high pressure fuel pump (hpfp), fuel lines, fuel filter, common rail, fuel injectors. Repair was covered by audi.second incident happened at approximately 69,000 mi. Exact same behavior experienced by the car. Car shook, glow plug light came on, lost power rapidly, and stalled. Engine would not restart and had to be towed to the dealer.the vehicle is currently at the audi dealer. Audi has requested a fuel sample and we are waiting for audi to determine if they will cover the repair.

Strong gasoline smell inside the passenger compartment and outside the car upon exiting. No leaks on ground. Suspect cracked fuel pump flange

Please help!strong fuel odor located under the driver, passenger side.no faults reported when turning on the vehicle.fuel tank under vehicle shows evidence of fuel leak coming from the top.vehicle was purchased as brand new, i'm the first owner in 2013 straight from audi dealership.upon further investigation, after removing back passenger seat on the driver side, when removing round silver fuel cover, noticed some type of black tape or goo was melting above the fuel filter.hard to describe, see attached images.after turning the vehicle halfway on, not fully, i can see fuel leaking off the top, possible crack that was covered by black goo or tape.vehicle will run out of fuel 2-3 days after filling full tank.

Car stalls and has died while driving; took to deal for repair they claimed bad fuel and emptied and cleaned tank. Same issue 2 months later and now car has been in shop for over a month they say could be bad fuel again (it's diesel, i have only bought fuel at bp since repair) or high pressure fuel pump. Car has $56k miles.

I was driving and the car grinder to a halt.the brake light came on after the grinding.i called a tow truck and he found a bolt on the ground that was holding the caliper/hub together.my speed was around 30 mph but if i would have been on the highway or at a higher rate of speedi would have been introuble because the car wold not move.my brakes were just replaced 3 months before.according to my mechanicthe housing for the bolt threads were stripped.the bolt holds the caliper and hub.a machinist is now trying to rethread it.it will be a week tomorrow withoutas he fixes another bolt housingin the hub the says is stripped also.my mechanic said that this is something that should not have happened on a car like this.this is my 2nd q7-- same car almost exactly except it was a 2009 and it had 110000 miles on it when i sold it and had no o problems with it.

The contact owns a 2013 audi q7. While driving approximately 5 mph, the brake pedal was depressed and traveled to the floorboard. As a result, the contact rear ended another vehicle. The air bags did not deploy. A police report was not filed and there were no injuries. The vehicle was driven away by the contact and later towed to the dealer (audi brooklyn 665 65th st, brooklyn, ny, 11220). The failure could not be duplicated. The contact was advised by the dealer that the vin was not included in nhtsa campaign number: 14v516000 (engine and engine cooling, service brakes, hydraulic). The failure mileage was unknown.

April 30,2020.i was using a "new"jack that was supplied with the car.the jack was on a flat concrete surface in my garage.the jack failed and broke, dumping the suv on its front right side, from which the wheel had been removed.before using the jack, an audi service manager told me he didn't like to use the jacks, because they were known, within audi, to fail.the service manager, having more experience than i, jacked the car up, using the jack that was sold with the car.the rt. Ft wheel was removed and put in the rear of another vehicle and while unattended for 5 minutes, during the transfer, the jack gave out.afterward, it was observed that the rotary jack would not lift or descend.very upsetting to realize that audi has had this problem for years in that my suv was one that was previously recalled because of the diesel omission issues.when the service manager of an audi franchise acknowledges the problem, prior to the failure, it is reprehensible conduct.

While driving at highway speed's in a blinding rainstorm, the entire passenger windshield wiper arm broke and flew off the car into the traffic behind.

While driving and just about to turn in to the highway i was and using the wipers on medium speed the passsneger side wiper blade base snapped right off!!!! the wiper blade was fine but the metal arm just snapped! . I had to pull over to see what happened no got the wiper from the base of the hood and out right in the car to take it to audi to have it fixed. Thank goodness it didn't fly off and hit someone else.

Takata recall. Right passenger side wiper broke off while driving down a city street in greensboro nc.i had the wipers on the first setting in low intermittent mode.the wiper bowed up.it did not fly off my car thankfully because i was going about 45 mph.i was able to turn into a gas station and remove it and place it in my car. I am looking into trying to getting it repaired.i don't have to cost to replace it yet.this is a safety issue due to me not being able to see out of my windshield entirely.if the wipers were on full mode it could have flown off and struck another vehicle.the arms of these vehicles were poorly manufactured and there should be a recall and for those of us who had to pay to get it fixed should be reimbursed.

Wife pulled into garage on a stormy day and i was standing on passenger side with my 3 year old son. Passenger wiper arm snapped off and flew toward us and almost stabbed my 3 year old. At first i thought it was the wiper blade, but it was the whole entire arm. The broken end was sharpen like a knife blade...updated 10/06/17updated 10/17/2017

I was driving on a rainy night on a rural city street and the passenger wiper arm just broke off. I was kind of startled. I am positive that i didn't hit anything and i've several other complaints online of this happening to other audi owners. This could be a major safety hazard if this was the hit someone while driving.

I was driving today on the highway and the windshield mechanism on my 2013 audi q7 snapped in half and flew off the car in heavy rains.additionally, the only side affected by this is the passenger side windshield wiper; the driver side and back continue to work

I was driving on a flat open road. All of a sudden, there was a big noise bang, andthe sunroof shattered into pieces. There was no traffic close to my car when this happened. The weather was cold (-12f).
