Takata recall - i have been notified they need to replace my 'passenger side' airbag (driver side was replaced already), but the parts have not been available for about 1 year.i get cards in the mail telling me i need to replace it, but the dealers do not have the part. Everyone says because of the location, texas, and the age of the car, 2009 model, this car is a 'priority', but i cannot get the part to have it replaced.
Takata recallthis airbag is a time bomb and i hope anyone who frives this car is never subjected to what could happen in the event of an accident.

Takata recall. I have contacted classic audi dealer in eastchester, ny several times by phone, email, and chat. They have been unresponsive. To date i have not been offered an appointment to replace both airbags. I called the audi advocate in michigan, and she promised to help by contacting classic audi and provide me with information about when classic audi will schedule an appointment. This is taking too long.

Takata recall i am driving this car and have a family and when they are in the passenger seat they are in danger. I think audi should provide a loaner car until they can repair the airbag yet they refused.
Takata recall.no remedy yet?driver side recall in february!audi is dragging their feet.and i am in a high risk geographic area. (south carolina) we have had a hot humid summer.why did nhtsa recall everything when the high risk areas need to addressed first!stupidity on nhtsa's part, they will be named as well in any future lawsuit.
Takata recall -- since october 2018, i have been receiving messages from audi that the repair is available and that i should schedule an appointment immediately for my safety and the safety of my family.since then, i have made several appointments with my local dealer only to have each of them canceled due to the airbag being on backorder or otherwise unavailable.on january 24, i called both my local dealer, audi eatontown, and audi customer experience.the former told me that there isn't a single replacement airbag in nj while the latter then extended the lack of airbag replacements to the entire us.

Takata recall - i received a letter in april 2016, at least 6 weeks ago, about this recall, but the part is still not available at any nj dealership to perform the repair.the audi recall/service campaign lookup tool says that [xxx] in parsippany has the part, but [xxx] says that they do not and do not know when it will come in.i could not reach any person at the (800) number for audi on the recall notice, (800) 253-2834; i could only leave a message which has yet to be returned.i chatted online this morning with someone at audiusa.com/contact us but there is no information as to when this part will be available; only an apology is offered. Please assist in getting the necessary part to a convenient audi dealership.thank you.information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).

The glass is separating from the canvas on my convertible top! i have attempted repairs and read thousands of threads in regard to this issue. My concern is that the glass could come detached from the soft top and either injure one of my daughters in the backseat or fly out and hit another vehicle. Audi is attempting to charge over 5k for a new top-claiming replacement is the only option. I appreciate someone looking into this issue as soon as possible.
