I have purchased a 2007 apilia tuono r and the rear bresk has never worked properly.a dealer has bled the brake and it still does not work.i was told this is an aprilia quiirk and to purchase rearsets and the problem may go away.

The rear brakes are useless.. The lever goes to the bottom and the rear brake barely engages. I've brought it to the dealer to fix twice and they say that's just the way italian bikes are. I questioned this on the april ia forums and everyone seems to agree that the rear brake is horrible.. This is a huge safety concern because the rear brake is 25% of your total braking on this type of bike and the aprilia book states that any brake issue can cause death.
