Turn signal went out. Dealer repaired, and drove 40 miles, andturn signal went out again,went back to dealer 5 times.
The contact owns a 1999 allegro bay rv.while driving between 40-50 mph, the engine failed.the contact attempted to pull over and noticed smoke coming from the front end of the vehicle.the vehicle was destroyed.the highway patrol filed a report and it is still pending.there is a safety recall on the vehicle.the recall number was unknown.the current and failure mileages were 33,600.
(allegro 1999) the adjustable bed in the motorhome fell and dropped on driver's head.*mr the straps which held the bed in place fractured and caused the bed to fall hitting the driver.. The consumer discovered belt buckles had fractured which caused the bed to release.
The stove in the vehicle, if put on for an extended amount of time, will lock up and will not turn off. Owner has to turn propane tank off. Dealersaid owner could not use pots bigger than 6 inches.
Fuel tank constructed out of light sheet metal which rusted causing fuel leak and fumes.
The motor home came equipped with a safety feature that engaged the emergency brake when the vehicle stalled. This resulted in the motor home abruptly stopping instead of coasting to a stop.consumer feltthat this could result in an accident because the emergency brake was located on a drive shaft.
