'03 airstream 22ft. Int. Ccd frame failure. My recently purchased as trailer has major defects in the frame design. The outriggers have sagged and cracked the frame. The frame is buckled behind the rear axel and dropped the entire rearend. The outriggers behind the rear axel have cracked at the weld. There are 83+ complaints on the airstream owners community forum. As has admitted there is a problem and sent, repair kits to numerous owners, including me. I know of at least one owner that had his frame replaced by as and now it's doing the same thing. He has parked it and uses it as an additional bedroom. This problem needs looking into. 2003 airstream 22'travel trailer had leaking, floor deteriorating, and took to a repair shop.upon checking, all outriggers have failed and cracked, frame is twisting at rear due to outrigger failure.did not realized this until floor was removed for repair.

The contact owns a 2003 airstream international ccd.he realized that the table inside of the vehicle was tilted.he decided to examine the undercarriage of the vehicle and noticed that the sub frame was cracked in two places. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer but was not repaired. The failure and current mileages were unknown.
My '03 22' airstream trailer has major cracks in the main frame making it untowable. The as factory has sent a "patch kit" which will has not worked.
