My 30bhsl cabinet cracked, thought something dropped and hit it did not pay any mind to it until i towed it because of moving to new city.took vacation en route and left trailer in storage.five months later get a call from my father n law saying the crack had turned into a crevice.he leveled out the trailer and the back half of the trailer was about 2 to 3 inches below the front.called insurance and appraiser came out to look at it.took him 3 minutes to look at it and tell me that the frame was twisting out on the bottom.insurance called me said they were not paying for it because it was deemed manufacturer defect.trailer was not wrecked or damaged by what is considered act of god.called aerolite they did not believe it and told me to pull it to a dutchmen service center and have them look at it and take photos.they said the same thing, manufacturer defect and that the trailer is totaled and should never be towed again.since i pulled it numerous issues now came up.my slide is unlevel, axles are shifted, cabinets pulling from wall, and my trailer has a triangle effect like the middle is giving out because of the frame and its getting worse.i have on the phone with aerolite numerous hours for several months to try and resolve my very expensive lawn ornament so to say.right now the plan is they are going to get the trailer and look at it.from there do not know.
Top of counter cracked then broke, cabnet came loose from wall, rear portion of frame saging inches, exterior laminet coming apart from flex. Not comfortable towing any more .## vin passed ## aerolite ae30bh-sl10 2005 ##.
2005 aerolite trailer was hit in a gas station pulling the rear bumper straight out.didn't notice it until i got home.further inspection found out that the counter top had split in half and that the window in front of the sink is lower than the sink.called the insurance company and the adjuster said that the frame is bent but the insurance company (national interstate) will not cover the damage because they say it's a manufacturer defect and that the accident has nothing to do with the frame damage.talked with dutchman and they said they will not stand behind the product and that i need to talk to norco frames.tim belle at norco said the frame bent because of water damage to the wall and floor. So far no water damage to the floor and walls has been found.norco has re-fabricated their frames to keep them from twisting but still claim they don't have a problem.have been told by the adjuster and two rv mechanics not to pull the trailer because it will come a part more and there is a good chance that the axles will come off the frame.
