My rack and pinion is also causing me problems.it has become very difficult to steer- more so to one side than the other.a friend of the family also owns a vigor near to the same year as mine and their rack is bad as well and causes some bad vibrations.i am working now to see if there have been any recalls issued for this problem.if anyone knows of any please let me know.
While driving over any kind of bumpy surface/uneven pavement/ left turn or right turn,the steering wheel shakes and rattles. Manufacturer has diagnosed the problem as a steering rack rattle.the problem has not been corrected.
Wheel material is "delaminating" on all wheels causing tire seal to fail.
