When the weather is in the high 80s or 90s, my car won't start. It turns over okay; the electrical system/battery is fine. After about 20-30 minutes or longer, the car will finally start but is not necessarily okay for trips. At the first stop the same problem may or may not occur again. When the temp goes down in the fall, the car is fine and runs beautifully. At first i thought it was a problem with my car only but have seen other complaints about this same issue. I think the issue is caused by something in the fuel intake system but have no evidence to prove this. For about four months of the year i am forced to do all my shopping in the very early morning or at night and still have the problem sometimes then.

Without warning the car stalled out on the freeway. The 1st time was in may 2000. On the freeway, the engine shutdown. Santa monica acura replaced the ignitor, dist. Cap and rotor. The 2nd time was march 2001. Pasadena acura replaced the ignition coil.

When applying brakes it feels like pedal will go to floor. Brake pedal goes down too far and it is soft, causing abs light to come on. Distributor failed at 51,000 miles, causing damage to timing belt and cam shafts.
Cars don't start in hot weather turns over but don't start. And at time my cars rpm starts to go down slowly then it shuts off and it takes about 20 mins at time to turn on sometimes when driving. I hear that it has sometime to do with a poorsolder job on the company that made the main relays.

While driving, experiences delayed shifting of gears in automatic transmission, also hesitation when accelerating, must push pedal hard to get response.tt
Rear seat belts are of the elr type - can not put car seats in back seat. Dealer won't fix.
The automatic shoulder belts on the driver's side do not work which leaves the driver with no restraint for the upper body. Dealer has not seen.
After closing door, motorized shoulder beltsmove in track/tighten.lower portion of shoulder belt gets caught in lower reel assembly due toangle of the assembly in relation to angle which seat belt is being reeled out.
The automatic seat belt restraint does not engage went the ignition is turned on.the dealer has told me it will cost $635 to get the seat belt system replaced.
