"takata recall"i received a notice in march and spoke with the dealership, both said i would be notified when parts were available in late summer.on 10/21/16 i called my dealership to find out the status because i hadn't heard anything else.i was told oh we have the parts come in whenever you want.why wasn't i notified.i've been driving an unsafe car for 2 years and wondering about the airbag for 7 months.this is completely unacceptable.
Notified of recall of airbags in feb. 2016 and issue still is not resolved. My lease is ending in october and i am not able to purchase this vehicle due to this air bag issue.

Takata inflators:as i was made aware of the safety issue caused by takata air bag inflators, i followed up with my manufacturer about the options i had. Even after making multiple calls the manufacturer of my vehicle who is acura dosen't seem to care about solving customers complaints.
I am seriously concerned about my safety driving my acura. I got a safety recall notice from the manufacturer during the month on february, 2016 with multiple calls being placed the manufacturer has no fixed date in resolving the problem. With the safety recall i wasn't able to sell my vehicle since it is defective and there was no solution provided by the manufacturer. Even after multiple calls acura client relations didn't respond properly and they were not very helpful in resolving my issues. I would kindly request nhtsa to kindly look into the issue and direct acura accordingly.

So as i understand, this recall is a fix that needs to be done, or in the event of the airbags deploying, there is a chance of a life threatening injury...being i work for toshiba medical and i sell equipment that couldbe a danger to patients and i understand the recall. In my case at toshiba, if a recall comes from the fda, we need to shut down the system until the fix is made. Even if it's less than 1% it gets close up!!seems that you are willing to let the car be driven until the replacement parts are available.this is unacceptable!! this is a leased car and the lease is up in novemberof this year. You own this car not i. This is the vehicle air bag that could rupture with potential life threatening injury to me or my passenger.this is a leased vehicle owned by acura not me and no parts will be available until end of summer.you can have this car back and put me in a new lease never mind giving me a rental car to drive around in and continue to make my lease payments on a vehicle i am not even driving in seriously.

Takata recall: in march 2016, we have received notification letter from acura motor company regarding the recall and the danger of driving our acura vehicle, vin # [xxx], due to takata airbag inflator recalls. Accordingly we contacted the dealership office located 1600 soldiers field rd, brighton, ma 02135 in the same month (end of march 2016), to get the vehicle fixed or to request a replacement vehicle until your organization fix the vehicle and make it safe to drive again.the above mentioned dealership office offered us to take a loaner or rental vehicle free of charge under the condition that we have to keep both vehicle with us until they fix the acura. We explain to the dealership office that since we leave in boston metropolitan area, we don't have extra or additional parking space to keep both vehicles. Therefore, we requested acura motor company to keep the acura until it is fixed and give us the loaner or rental car. The passenger immediately noticed sparks from underneath the hood and, almost immediately, the hood became engulfed in flames. The fire department came to the scene and extinguished the fire. The seatbelt came unlatched upon a 15 mph front end impact.the occupant sustained minor injuries as a result.
My driver's side breaks are grinding and giving out on me. I only drive my vehicle on weekends, so i don't see why the driver's side breaks are already giving out on me. I've had the vehicle for only three years and it has 79,784 miles.

I purchased goodyear weatherhandler tires 215 45r17 in december of 2015. On saturday, september 30th my front passenger side tire was flat. Upon further inspection under the goodyear logo, there was a split. The other front on the driver side had the same spit under the goodyear logo. I had tobuy 2 new tires to place on the front.
