I bought tire from firestone under warranty when it gets bad i took it to the store and asked them for new tire, they refused to give me one even it was under warranty. Then i called the main office they apologize and they told me to take it back to the store and they will taker of it.after they contacted thestore called me and if asked me to take to back to store and get new tire. Five month's later when i was driving on hw 59, the layer of the tire tore off and hit the curb. It didn't hit another cars, because i was on left lane and the tire was left side. Other ways innocent human life would be lost.

While traveling from work on the interstate, i heard the tread come off of my rear passenger tire.this sent me into the guard rail and preceded to flip my truck over several times.the tires should no signs of unusual wear, tear or defect at this point.

Warranty work was done which included rotating tires.when tires were rotated, three tires were noted with inner edge cupping and damage.the srv is an aztec and the tires are wilderness hts.niles is a authorized dealer and stated that this has been a problem with these tires, will not replace.ts

I have just purchased a vehicle not too long ago that has the wilderness ht tires on it that look very unsafe. I looked them up on your website and they were recalled.is there anyway i could get a recall info sheet to replace the tires on the vehicle...there are hardly any miles on the tires and i have not been able to drive it because they are so unsafe. They are model # p22570r15. I have 2 little girls that i would like to keep safe!

I have a 19'98 ford f150 that came equipped with firestone 235/70r16 wilderness ht tires. One of those tires started to separate about two weeks ago. I have replaced the tires so the safety issue has been dealt with. However, i've tried talking to firestone about the tire separation & they aren't the least bit interested. Their district mgr ( bob ) said the tires are six years old and i should be happy that i've gotten that much service out of the tires. Their store mgr ( mike hemel ) in charlotte nc said tires separate when then get old. After a 30 second analysis of the tire he said my vehicle was out of alignment which conforms to the first rule of bad customer service => blame someone else. I offered to kathy smith ( firestone corporate) to take the vehicle to my normal mechanic and have the alignment checked under the scenario that if it is misaligned, i would pay the bill & if it is in alignment, firestone would pay the bill. She declined my offer, again suggesting firestone really is not interesting in getting to the root cause of the problem. I do not know anything about the reliability record of this type of tire or the process to get one of your specialist to analyize the failure mode of this particular tire. I have all five of the oem tires, one of which is the spare ( new condition ) i'm more than happy to make these tires available to you for analysis; but, i'd rather not keep these tires around for very long if this is something that you believe does not warrant an investigation please advise me how to proceed as soon as practical.
