One of my vogue radial tubless tires recently developed a 5" bulge on the sidewall.the tire is a p225 60r16 97s custom built radial 1x+.had this bulge not been brought to my attention by a passerby there is a strong possibility a blow-out could have occurred.these tires are rated for 70,000 miles and i had about 30,000 miles of use.replacement cost per tire is $224 plus tax.picture available upon request.updated 09/16-10 updated 09/20/10updated 12/03/10

The contact stated that when driving approximately 30 mph and above, the tires would wobble excessively.the vehicle was inspected by the dealer who advised that the tires were exhibiting flat spots and would need replacing. 235/55-17 vogue gold and white sidewall tires have a inner sidewall cracking issue before date code of "2406". The tires blow out as heat builds up on extended road trips.
16,000 miles on my "vogue" tires and the tread fell off.
Tire has severe tread separation in multiple locations around tire.the largest separation includes approximately 30% of the tread on one side of tire.tread separated on dot serial side of tire.the tire failure occurred on my mother's 2001 cadillac deville.not sure of date tread separation commenced buti discovered the tread separation in december 2010.the vehicle belonged to my father when the tire was installed in 2007.he became ill in 2008 before eventually dying in 2009.so very few miles were put on the car/tire by december 2010.the tire had approximately 14000 miles on it in december 2010.

The tires are manufacturer by vogue, line custom build radial, size 225-60-r16 the dot number was unknown. The manufacturer replaced the tires. The tire failure mileage was 22,940. Dt:the consumer was the owner of a 1999 cadillac deville.the consumer stated that the tires had bubbles.the consumer replaced one tire at a time until all of the tires were replaced because of the bubbles.the consumer stated that this past weekend he experienced a blow out on the passenger's side front tire because of a bubble.the consumer exchanged the tire with the cadillac dealer, and they installed the same brand of tire that was originally on the vehicle.when the contact returned home he replaced the tire with adifferent brand of tires.the mileage on the vehicle at the time of the first replacement was 20,000 miles.the second time the vehicle had approximately 40,000 miles.the dealership stated that they would replace the vehicle with the same type of tires, but if the consumer wanted a different brand of tires there would not be a warranty for the tires.the consumer had not contacted the manufacturer about these the tires.the tire manufacturer was vogue, the tire line is p225/ 975.the contact was going to submit additional information about the vehicle and tires by mail.(11/17/05)*sc
The contact owns a 2006 chrysler 300.the vehicle has vogue custom built radial ix tires, size p225/60r16.while the contact was cleaning the tires, he noticed cracks along the sidewalls and white walls.prior to discovering the failure, he noticed that the steering wheel would vibrate while driving 60 mph.the tires have not been diagnosed by the dealer.the vin and dot number were unknown.the current mileage was 28,000 and failure mileage was 20,000.

Jim hordan regional vice president& ken goyak, executive vice presidentadvised vogue tires only hada five year life expectancy,and after five years tires manufactured by vogue have no product defect warranty. I disagree with vogue's claim they were obligated to honor a full replacement warranty obligation at any time if a manufacturing flaw discovered in a tire production exposed the consumer population to loss of life or injury.since vogue has refused to honor their warranty obligation i will be replacingthe vogue tires i own with another brand tire, nd i wouldlike to arrange for the delivery of the tires i now own to a nhstb local office in the boynton beach area so they could be examined , and have a tread run out test be performed to confirm the opinion of two goodyear tire dealerships that the vogue tires i want to deliver were due to manufacturing problem. Further, if as the vogue tire executives referenced in this e-mail have stated, the e tire should not have remained in service after a five year term, must not this condition be broadcast for all tires that bear the same serial number be so advised of the possibility of tires like mine having a possible manufacturing problem?wait to hear from you as to the appropriate course of action i must follow in havng your agency investigate my complained.thereafter, take appropriate action which would appear to be a tire recall program as your agency deems appropriate.
