I started experencing problem at appox. 12000 miles when the front brakeswore out prematurlly,some after at appox. 20000 mile i had unusual tire wear, ( i was told it was my fault) it was the right torsion bar out of adjustment and even though the vehicle had only 27668 mile i had to pay 1/2 the cost appox $225.00 after fighting all the way to the executive offices,the speed sensitive steering started actting up at appox. 40000 miles suddenly causing the steering wheel to slip unaccpectedly.this part was replace n/c , i have gone through 3 alternatorsthe first at appox. 38000 mile standing me in buffalo ,tx 120 miles from home on a sunday night, the second and third happeded in the city however i now carry a spare altenator and tools because who knows when it will go out next, i have replaced the positive side battery cables twice because of design the loosen and the acr and short out, the auto matic transmission went out at 53939 due to coolent getting into the unit i had to pay 25% of this repair appox. $525.00 that transmission failed at 69015 only 15k+miles later with the warrenty card in hand i thought maybe this was it ,at 107,267 miles that transmission failed and with only 38k+ mile on a unit that carrys a 3yr/50k warrenty gm refuses to fix or replace the unit my truck has been sitting at the dealershipsince 06/15/2001 while i have been once again fighting with gm to no avail ,( i was offer a customer loyalty cert. For $500. 00 to settle this issue the transmission cost $2500. To replace not including the motor mount that broke when the unit locked up at appox. 35 mph all the advertising million and billions of $$$$$ should be spent making sure that then presistent problem do not accure, not when you spend 35k- 45k- for a vehicle.(dot number: don't knowtiresize: 245r16lt)

The problem deals specifically with the location of the supply hose (part of the engine cooling system) from the reservoir tank to the radiator.the first time this problem happened was on the date of this report. It was taken back to the dealer and repaired under factory warranty. The second time it happened was about a year ago. The supply hose is located right under the fan shroud. It is held up by 2 clamps that are molded onto the fan shroud. This whole assembly (shroud and clamps) appear to me to be a plastic material.what has happened is that the supply hose has come lose from the clamps that are molded onto the shroud on 2 different occasions. The first time it sheared off 2 fan blades and was repaired under factory warranty by the dealer. The second time it came loose it the hose sheared off all of the fan blades thus causing the engine to overheat to the poitn the engine was ruined.the piston completely turned over in the cylinder causing the engine to lock up. Apparently what happens is over time these clamps moled onto the shroud become hot and brittle thus making it possible for them to eventually break off. Due to the location of the supply hose once it comes loose from these clamps it falls directly into the fan blades. The loose hose cannot avoid the fan. I have looked at many other makes of automobiles since this happened the last time. In all of the other automobiles that i have looked at the supply hose is engineered in such a manner that if it did come loose from the clamps it cannot become entangled with the fan blades. It couldn't even come close!based upon this knowledge i believe that bmw has erred in the design of the cooling system, at least on the 3 series.it is still designed that way today.i have talked to bmw of north america about this several times to no avail!i would appreciate (if you have time) a phone call so that i could explain this problem better! thank you! sincerely, danny l. Since purchase of vehicle oct 2000 i have been in the shop 35 x for manufacturing problems.ongoing problems include dimming of headlights at any given time and flickering of clock/radio display at any given time.service attempted to fix the dimming and flickering by replacing the alternator, but it did not fix the problem.they are now unable to duplicate the problem.it took service 5 attempts to fix taillight water retention problem (they sealed the entire assembly).the rear differential fluid was reportedly low from factory causing a grinding sound in my gears (it took 2 attempts to fix that problem).since that differential problem, i have had a clunk between 2nd & 3rd gears (service is unable to duplicate the problem).

I bought a hitch coverlight ,that permanently block's the view of the vital visual safety inspection trailer hitch receiver , installed locking pin , emergency tow chain's, and 7 prong. Elect. And ball mount stability. This universal vehicle product is called: white night reverse light system. Patent name: supplemental reverse light issued july 27,2000 viewable at www.cruiserstainless.com . Bought for $75.00 . The problem with this is: they have additional attachment features for this large hitch receiver cover not covered by the patent. This product permanently blocks the vital view of the hich pin, emergency tow chain and structural stability of the oem standardized - best selling aftermarket trailer hitch receiver. My accident would have been prevented if this product that blocked the hitch receiver view during towing did not take place. The ownerof this product is roger byers. If they continue to sell this product that covers the hitch with no view of hitch receiver installed accessories more loss of towing trailers, lives and safety inspections of the hitch receiver during towing will continue. The right side door that automatically locks comes open when moing speeds from2 to 60 miles an hour. This vehicle needs to be checked by the ford motor comapny, now for the 4 time we have problem with the same door. Casing peeled from tire while driving at high rate of speed.casing became entagled around rear axle, hydraulic brake lines, and the emergency brake cable.pressure on the emergency brake cable caused emergency brake to be activated.almost resulting in an accident with four other motor vehicles on interstate 5.time of occurence was 6 a. Consumerheard a noise in the front of vehicle. Consumerstated he had been hearing it a little, but currently the noisebecamemore pronounced.consumer had already replaced the transmission once.the consumer had to fill the tires every week.the tires leaked air since purchase.the tire service dealer suggested that there was no leak and that corrosion built up on the wheels in which air escaped through the rim of tires.there was a thumping noise in the front end and seems like it happens worst on right turns, the left wheel bearing was loose in the hub bearing assembly, the hood hinges rattling excessive clearence, there was excessive slippage and the clutch burnt.(laredo tires) *sc

You need to pump the brakes in order tofeel responsive/ i'm told i'ts normal /uniroyal factory tires are all ready breaking down at sidewalls at 5,000 miles/told it is normal/air constantly comes through center lower vent when system is shut down, told this is also normal...idisagree thank-you( dot number: 00000000 tire size: 16 )

Vehicle's abs have been replaced three times.*mrthe abs was replaced under recall but failed again.the vehicle uniroyal tires seemed to be out of round.

The vehicles original equipment tires are not balanced properly and resulted in "wobbling" while driving.the dealer attempted to balance them four times since purchased but the problem still exists (uniroyal p205/75r15, 1,000 miles on tires). *nlm

Uniroyal tiger paws tires are experiencing problem which is causing vibration and inability to balance tires. Alsoweaving tread and sidewalls maybe the causes of the problem. Feel free to provide further details.

Urgent- this will kill people please read - my 2000 chevrolet blazer rolled at 30 mph after hitting a chuck hole on the right side of the road.it threw me to the right side of the road so i brought the vehicle back onto the road at which time my steering column was going crazy and then i rolled at least once before stopping - i really thought i was dead, and my vehicle is a total loss.i have the vehicle in my possession now - because of theft related issues with allstate insurance company.i would like some help showing the world that it may not be a firestone problem, it may be a suspension problem.i can close my eyes and tell you in slow motion exactly what the vehicle did and you would think gm would want to have me interviewed -- since i lived!!!i have pictures as well if you want to have them emailed.please help. I started experencing problem at appox. 12000 miles when the front brakeswore out prematurlly,some after at appox. 20000 mile i had unusual tire wear, ( i was told it was my fault) it was the right torsion bar out of adjustment and even though the vehicle had only 27668 mile i had to pay 1/2 the cost appox $225.00 after fighting all the way to the executive offices,the speed sensitive steering started actting up at appox. 40000 miles suddenly causing the steering wheel to slip unaccpectedly.this part was replace n/c , i have gone through 3 alternatorsthe first at appox. 38000 mile standing me in buffalo ,tx 120 miles from home on a sunday night, the second and third happeded in the city however i now carry a spare altenator and tools because who knows when it will go out next, i have replaced the positive side battery cables twice because of design the loosen and the acr and short out, the auto matic transmission went out at 53939 due to coolent getting into the unit i had to pay 25% of this repair appox. $525.00 that transmission failed at 69015 only 15k+miles later with the warrenty card in hand i thought maybe this was it ,at 107,267 miles that transmission failed and with only 38k+ mile on a unit that carrys a 3yr/50k warrenty gm refuses to fix or replace the unit my truck has been sitting at the dealershipsince 06/15/2001 while i have been once again fighting with gm to no avail ,( i was offer a customer loyalty cert. For $500. 00 to settle this issue the transmission cost $2500. Consumerheard a noise in the front of vehicle. Consumerstated he had been hearing it a little, but currently the noisebecamemore pronounced.consumer had already replaced the transmission once.the consumer had to fill the tires every week.the tires leaked air since purchase.the tire service dealer suggested that there was no leak and that corrosion built up on the wheels in which air escaped through the rim of tires.there was a thumping noise in the front end and seems like it happens worst on right turns, the left wheel bearing was loose in the hub bearing assembly, the hood hinges rattling excessive clearence, there was excessive slippage and the clutch burnt.(laredo tires) *sc
