I own a set of recall tires toyo noone let me know they where recalled but the back tire went out first and know the front tire is in such bad shape cant drive the car my wife like to got hurt the first timethe insidebelt has gone out on 2 tires already what are your plans to fix my problem.

While driving on the freeway, rear toyo tire blew out. Required replacing 2 tires, the one blow out and another in front that had tread separation issues identified by tire mechanic. Upon return from trip, taken back to installation dealer and they contacted toyo who offered a $30 refund on each. Since the original purchase was for 4 tires, the two remaining tires were also at risk for similar blow out. Toyo did not want to offer refund unless proof of tire rotation was provided. The issue was ultimately with a faulty blow-out (3 tire dealers stated that this was not a wear-and-tear issue but a defect) and not a matter of getting refund yet toyo's focus was on proving that the tires were not maintained rather than dealing with an obviously dangerous product out in the market.

Toyo versado lx for 2003 ford taurus. I bought these tires and have had nothing but problems since i had them installed. The shake started off slight, and over time has progressed to dangerous levels where i can no longer drive the car. I have taken the car to 5 different front end shops searching for what i thought was a problem with my car. The fourth finally pin pointed the tires. I went back to where i purchased the tires, and neither the shop or toyo want to do anything to fix the safety problem with my car. The shake is now so extensive i can not drive the car due to fear of damaging the steering or suspension components. Each time i have been in, a road force balance is performed, but does not completely remedy the problem. Even the so call front end "expert" said it was the tires. The car can not be driven until i save enough money to buy new tires.

Aug 2008, purchased 4 versado lx tires at 46851 miles. On 14 aug 2011, had a tire blow on right rear on i-16. There was $75 damage to car as the tire tore the factory mud guard from the fender. Tire was replaced for $53 under warranty at 77968 miles. On 10 oct 11, returned to dealer and found 2nd tire separating. Replaced for $73 under warranty at 79720. On 23 may 2012, 3rd tire was found to be separating at 84275 miles. I contacted toyo by email. Rep called my local tire dealer, raffield tire, and discussed issue. Dealer was told to re-inspect 4th tire closely while replacing the 3rd tire for $83 under warranty. It appeared to be ok. On 3 jul 12 the 4th tire was replaced for $79 under warranty at 85676. Had long discussion with toyo customer service. Was told there were "no known issues with this tire". Very funny that all 4 tires for my vehicle failed. Tire dealer does rotation/balance/check every 5000 miles. Wanted toyo to replace this tire at their cost due to all of the trouble i have had. Rep refused, stating that the government would not let them do any customer relief other than the limited warranty on tire. Otherwise, "they would be guilty of hiding defect information from the government". I cannot believe there are no known issues if all 4 of my tires failed. They also could not pay for the repair i had done in aug 2011 since the tire was not turned over to an independent 3rd party for analysis.

While driving on i-81. I heard a brief, unusual sound inside my honda odyssey, then the left rear tire suffered an immediate catastrophic failure. The tire tread just peeled off the tire. Fortunately the tire did not deflate. I was able to safely park off the interstate and call for assistance. The van sustained significant body damage from the tire thread debris. I was towed to the nearest honda dealer. They had to replace both rear tires with another brand because they did not sell toyo and it was after 6 p.m. They also were able to make the van safe for highway travel by removing broken body parts and securing other body components that allowed me to continue my journey back home without any further incidents.....updated 05/23/12 updated 06/06/2012

Tire exhibits choppiness. While operating vehicle steering wheel rocks.car dealer said it is a sign of a cheap tire. He suggested replacing it with a better tire.

The contact owns a 2004 chevrolet malibu equipped with toyo versato tires, size: 205/55/16. The contact stated that the tires were recently installed on the vehicle and while driving approximately 45 mph, attempting a right turn, the vehicle began to pull in the opposite direction. The contact stated that she did not experience a problem with the vehicle until the tires were installed. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to the dealer. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing. The tires were not replaced. The vin was not available. The approximate failure mileage of the tires was 15,000. The vehicle failure mileage was 165,000.

I purchased a set of 4 toyo versado lx tires about 3 years ago.in the last month, one tire completely disintegrated on the interstate and we were lucky to keep control!the outer tread completely peeled off like you see from 18-wheelers.just a few weeks later, we had terrible vibration from the front end.took car to honda dealer who determined another of the tires was completely defective.the treads were separating from the inside, and the tire was effectively square.all of the tires had plenty of wear left.

I have toyo versado lx tires on my 2005 mercury grand marquis p225/60/r1698tdot dot 73a6fwv4410.the tire has developed a bubble in the tread on the inside of the tire.i pulled the tire out of service before any failure or accident.toyo tires is not even interested in hearing about any part of the problem.they just tell me it is out of warranty.i was not making a warranty claim, but am disappointing that they want nothing to do with any of the details of the problem to see if this is an isolated incidence or whether there is a problem with these tires.i am quite sure that there are alot of these tires that are approaching 5 years old that are on the road.i live in kingman arizona, and the car is kept in a garage out of the sun when parked.it is not parked out in the sun regularly during the day either.there has been no accidents or flats on this tire and it has approximately 35,000 miles on it.the remaining tread depth is aprox 5/32 of an inch.

Toyo tires belt separation causing tires to become mishap and causing vehicle to wobble, and ride rough.

While driving on the freeway, noticed thumping noise coming from tires and vibration in the entire vehicle.pulled over and noticed a large bulge on one of the tires and the bulge was on the treads.the tire store described this as tire tread separation.this happened twice on two separate occasions within three months while driving on the freeway.two of the four toyo versado tires on my vehicle failed as a result of tread separation.the retail store where i originally purchased the tires gave me a credit towards the purchase of new tires.they kept the failed tires.
