Tire size 19565r15; orginial equipment.while driving the right rear tire had tread separation and then blow out.the left front and rear tires had tread separation and blow out two days later. Consumer feels their is a manufacture defect on these model tires.please provide more details and the dot number. Ts

The contact owns a 1998 oldsmobile silhouette.the vehicle has toyo 800 ultra tires.while driving between 70-72 mph, both front tires and one rear tire flattened on three different occasions.prior to the failures, the contact felt a vibration in the steering column.the vehicle felt as though it was driving unevenly.the tires flattened instantly.the fourth tire has cracks in it and is about to fail like the others.the tires had 20,000 miles and 75% proration remaining.the contact has pictures available.the failure mileage was 100,000.

Blowout, with 4/32 tread left, of schwab z800 ultra radial with 100,000 mile warranty, at approx 50,200 miles, occurred as driving at normal speed on freeway with no impact or prior damage to tire. 11/27/2004.tires purchased 6/29/99 as pair.rotated and kept properly inflated, wheels aligned.on 4/25/03 a schwab z800 plus tire, with 47,000 miles(100,000 warranty), purchased 2/20/98, same conditions of treatment, blew out on same car under same circumstances, namely driving at normal speed on freeway.both tires left rear wheel at time of blowout.schwab refused to honor warranty on grounds lack of documentation tirest rotated every 5000 miles.no evident concern about safety issue.

While driving 50 mph, the right rear tire blew out.after reviewing the tire, the consumer stated that the center had separated.*tc

Dt: contact stated the driver's side front tire came off the rim in one piece. The tire was properly inflated.there was an accident. No onewas injured.the car was totaled. Saw a very big dent in the bead on the inside.he rotatedtires every 3,000 miles, and regularly servicedtires.the tires had a 100,000 mile warranty and the tire only had 20,000 miles on it. The manufacturer of the tires was toyo. Contactdid not notice any vibration before the tire came off. The wheel just started to wiggle a little bit and then the car hit the road. There were no lights to come on in the car before this happened.

Consumer states while driving on highway felt a vibration, then the right rear tireblow out, causing damage to vehicle.please included the tire size and dot number. Not original tire.

In january 2004, the steel belt in one of our tires frayed through the tire tread while driving.the tire was replaced, and the company that sold it to us returned it to the manufacturer with a request for explanation of the defect.there was no reply.in june 2004, the sameproblem occurred with another tire from the same set.the mechanic replacing this second faulty tire pointed out that a third tire was bulging, because it had the same defect, and the steel belt would soon fray through the tread if not replaced.the tires were originally purchased new as a set of 4 in november 1999.they had about 37,000 miles wear when the first one had to be replaced, and about 41,000 miles wear when thenext two had to be replaced.the brand is toyo, p215/65r15 800 ultra 95t bl.the dot number for the second tire that failed is cx kw 49 v 088.

Tire failure.on freeway traveling at apx 75 tread came off tire on back drivers side causing it to serve tip over and land in the ditch.a small amount of tread left on a small portion of tire with the rest of the dread coming off completely.

Bought four toyo z800 ultra tires as a set on march 22, 2003, when my 1995 nissan sentra gle had 134492 miles.car was properly aligned, wheels properly balanced, and tires properly inflated at all times.replaced one tire december 21, 2007 at 177988 miles; because of sidewall cracks and a thrown chunk of tread (roughly quarter-sized).replaced other three tires december 13, 2008 when my car had 189006 miles; because of tread area cracks and light cracking on sidewalls (pictures available).(note:those three z800s had identical dot numbers and to the best of my knowledge, the fourth did also.)a representative of the original dealer is giving me a prorated refund of the original purchase price, which i consider to be a satisfactory resolution.

While driving right rear tire blew out.the next day it was noted that other 3 tires had tread separation.inspection revealed tires were defective.*nlm

Consumer states at 33000 miles, the left tire tread separated.the tires were new and did not come with the van.the tire failed under normal low speeds and the tread separated.(model-elso van 1996) *scc

Toyo vehicle tire failed at 15,000 miles. Steel belting broke or separated, causing a dangerous bulge in sidewall. This was a premium tire rated for a 100,000 miles.

The consumer stated the right front tire experienced tread separation.tires were brought brand new and the failure occurred with 30,000 miles on the tires. Dealer would not replace the first tire that failed. Consumer did have 100,000 mile warranty on the tires.*ph

With at least 50% of the tread left on the tires (42,488 miles) the vehicle started to pull to the side of the road as well as the steering wheel jerked back and forth.upon examination, the front tires were swollen in the tread portion of the tire.*sc

Upon inspecting tiresconsumer saw that rear passenger tire had tread separation.on 20 december 2001 while driving 40 mph, consumer again noticed vibration.front driver's side tire had tread separation.

While driving at any speedvehicle was running roughly. Consumer examined the tires and saw that the tread separated on the right rear.several months later, the same thing happened on the left rear tire. Dealer gave the consumer a discount on the first tire, but refused any discount on the second tire.
